i prefer rose, martha is alright but i like rose a whole lot more

When it really comes down to it, Rose wins out for me. I like Martha well enough, but the whole shadow of losing Rose so abrubtly kills it for me. I feel like she's just filler for Rose. I know that the writers have tried very hard to make it clear that she is not just a replacement. It still feels that way for me.
Her whole reaction to hoe the Doctor lost Rose was upsetting to me. She was so jelous that she didn't seem to notice how much pain the Doctor was in over it. Maybe if she had considered that, she would have saved herself a lot of pain.
All in all, Rose kicks Marth's a** in my opinion.

I definitely like Rose a lot better. I find that Martha is a real "Dink"

Hmm, well I've only seen one epi with Martha but I actually really quite like her. Probably more than Rose. Bit early to say though. She's just more... cluey I guess.

Having seeing all those episodes of Martha in Series 3. I would choose Rose. Don't get me wrong though. I love Martha in her way. Martha seems willing to give her life and save doctor. And she believe in him all the way. She is an interesting character as a companion. I can't wait and see her again soon.
But maybe Rose has been with two doctors. I have seen her in a lot of mood swings as well as more episodes. Her humourous jokes on her role scripts were just ace.

Rose for me, so far, I haven't seen much of season 3 yet, it just started in the states. I miss Rose. Freema was in the episode Army of Ghosts, was she not? Kind of stupid, reusing the same actors over and over, when there are fans who pay enough attention to point out the casting crew's folly.

Trix Starlight Who do you like better. Personally, I like Rose/Billie better, Freema really provides very little spark for me. I know it's kinda unfair to compare as we've had two series of Rose, and two episodes of Martha, but yeah....

But really, I don't know what it is that makes me hate Martha so much. Probably the fact that she snogged the Doctor. *shudders*

OKAY!
Though I still have alot of loyalty torward Rose, Martha is an alright character.
I AM dissapointed, however, that while Rose was made to wear period clothing in the episode with the Gelth and that Martha wore her normal clothes in the Shakespere Code, she must've looked like a whore to the people, but then again, it's a tv show, unfortunately.

You know, i thought Martha would grow on me like Tennant did, but she didn't. I just hate her. She is written in the same way as Rose, just with different packaging. I'm sick of all of these romantic tangles the doctor gets into nowadays. Especially straight after Rose. Admittedly, Rose and 9 had better chemistry than Rose and 10, and the Madame De Pompadour thing didn't help, but Martha is annoying.
Bring on Donna, I say. Or, even better, bring back Billie!

No offence but I absolutley hated Rose as a character she annoyed me so much...though admitadly I do like Billie in other things I have seen Martha/Freeman are deffinatly better in my oppinion...oh and I hated the 9th Doctor as well...infact the whole of series one and most of series 2...=/ they did nothing for me all I could do was pick at the faults in the series.

I like them Both. I found that Martha was alittle better about it and she had alittle more shocking experience when meating the Doctor. I dident mined Rose but she was alittle To winey for my taste. She cryed to much.
