Access to this special signature he was trying to search out was going to suddenly be halted in movement. All forces of the chaotic aura of Cziri were now rejected by Yusuke's body, making into a primary defense against anything that tried to infiltrate it, but this was only a side effect caused by the ever growing energy radiating from Yusuke's body in a bright glow. Lowering his head in a slow but traumatic manner, the wind increases dramatically across the field, causing the grass beneath their feet to bend and move wildly as the entire enclosed area takes a sudden heaviness into the air. His fingers were twitching as they closed into fists, showing the change moving through his body.

Raising his head fiercely into the sky, his arms spreading outward, he cries loudly as an entire flare of energy fires from his body, taking dominance over all other light that was in this place to have everything focus on him. HIs shirt, the Spirit Gi shirt made from Spirit World would actually tear apart from the great powerful surge of Yusuke's sudden demonic energy, the threads of such concentrated power suddenly incinerated as their bonds were unnaturally broken. Within this light, the very hair of Yusuke would extend outward, growing like tendrils reaching out to try to grasp any that lied in their way, when in fact his hair was only just growing longer.

His scream moved throughout the arena, his very voice showing a sample of the power that was being exerted from his being alone.

Regardless if you could the field attempted to block it or not, the aura could still quickly eat away at the outside layers protecting Yusuke's innards, and removing it by simply pushing it out with your own aura wasn't going to work so well. You were giving the energy more to work with. In fact, more energy to change and to corrupt. The very motion of the added demonic energy would increase natural chaos within Yusuke's body, allowing his own aura to grasp it and utilize it against Yusuke if it came too near.

That was thing thing. Yusuke's body was not in choas because of the aura of Cziri, but because of the out-of-control state Yusuke was going in. To eat at Yusuke's demonic energy would be a task far from easy, not to mention it wouldn't be easily eaten in the first place. This was energy under the control of Yusuke, even if he wasn't conscious of it. Therefore, corruption, control, or depleting was no longer capable bby Cziri's aura against the transforming teen, who hunches over, eyes glowing as the energy dies down, the wind going dead around them as the activity is ceased.

Standing there motionless for a few seconds, he would straighten his spine, his full appearance revealing...

Full demon Yusuke.

Aura temporarily retracted to tightly around Cziri's own skin. The simple burst of chaotic chi soon faded away.
He waited to react or to not react.

Yusuke stood silent in the wake of his transformation, that cocky smirk worn on his face to show that even after such a change, he was still able to give off a smile of confidence. But particularly, something was different about Yusuke. No, the demonic energy coming from his body was a given, but the very mental state of him was different, too. For one, he wasn't exactly human anymore, and because of that alone, things may take a dramatic change for Cziri.

The teen starts to chuckle, speaking out to Cziri with a voice that sounded like two mixed into one: his normal voice then a much different one.

"What's wrong? If I didn't know any better, I would say you're starting to cower. Figures."

He bends his knees.

"Let's just see how long you can last when I decide to get serious."

And with a twisting wind left behind, Yusuke rams forward with a left knee for the stomach of Cziri. Massive power lied behind this attack, so even coming into contact with it may knock Cziri back straight across the ground very close to the magical barrier that was up.

Cziri was not afraid, however, he was done testing Yusuke. He appeared to be receiving near the full potential of his opponent, and to thank his opponent for doing so, he would begin the "final exams", so to speak. He also felt a strange sense of nostalgia as he saved Yusuke's data within his memory banks, noticing that the so-called hero had extremely similar hair.
"Hmph, nice hair. You look like me. Must mean you're trying."

And with that, he would do something quite unique to expand his influence. Altering the very packets of quintessence coding within the blades of long grass of this field, he would commandeer just about every aspect of their rather simple lives. Utilizing his massive influence, he would cause them to manufacture his own "chaotic-blended chi" as well as his natural "chaos aura." In conjunction with this action, they would also create their own chi that was free of Cziri's signature, except for the very innards of the grasses so called "spirit", and they would mix well within the chaos, creating a very powerful force that grasped the physical world causing intense waves of electromagnetic force and radiation, heat, as well as pressure to quickly flow towards Yusuke, that threaten to boil his physical form alive.

However, Cziri loves to coordinate assaults on his opponent. Forging his own essence into a strange form, he would create a strange blade held within his left hand that mimicked all the wavelengths and frequencies of the tiniest waves within Yusuke's body (at least the specific location it will strike), except with the troughs and peaks reversed. He would slash this blade upward, through the side of his incoming knee, all the way upward until through Yusuke's chest. However, these waves also targeted the supernatural wavelengths of Yusuke. This very blade displayed one of the virtues of Cziri; "disorder within order."

Keeping watch on Yusuke with his binary eye, he would log all the information, and adapt the blade accordingly.

Grinning, chuckling on his way toward Cziri, he seemed to speed right at him with little care for what he was getting himself to. Yusuke was no longer his normal self, and it was time to show his opponent how abnormal he was from the spirit detective he knew just a moment ago. The speed he came toward Cziri with would have him get to the man within a second time, or at least before the two second mark, to emulate how fast he was actually going. The waves that supposedly bash into his form would be brushed aside by the dense demonic aura close to Yusuke's body. Mixed with the speed he was gliding at, it was no different than flying through a cover of fog. The alien waves were being moved across like a hull moving through water.

Cziri's first attack had seemingly failed and then came the second one it seemed, a sword slash to the knee.

WAM!

Using his quick reactions, his left hand comes forward to grasp the area near the wrist along the forearm to bring Cziri's attack to an immediate stop with an immediate guard, following up with a simultaneous right hook for the very face of his foe as he held the attacking arm where it was halted within this period of only a second. The force alone would outburst a spurt of demonic energy and strength that will send his unready opponent crashing backwards with a successful hit.
PostPosted: Fri May 25, 2007 6:53 am

To the second attack, how about no. Yusuke would have reached far too low, and no "demonic" speed can change that his hand would have to quickly extend and lower to grab an object that was already in a quick motion. And if somehow Yusuke could get there fast enough to block an attack with a weightless weapon, Yusuke seemed to forget that a quick raising of Cziri's arm and quick motion of the wrist to the left could easily slit Yusuke's wrist and disable that arm, and then easily slash through the arm and horizontally slash with literally zero resistance.

Cziri's free right hand simply would grab the wrist as his own chaos aura would only delay the silly demonic chi for a while, as the blade is lethal.

Cziri himself had spawned his weapon well in Yusuke's sight, so even on his way to him, the spirit detective would have gotten the pre-emptive of a weapon being formed in the left hand of Cziri, though it just looked like his hand was glowing from how fast he was moving. But yes, Yusuke was fast enough to divert his hand down to stop the attack right there, as this was the advantage of his new form.

As much as Cziri wanted to cut Yusuke, his retaliation with the wrist would be far too late as the demon moves back his left hand after the block, using the movement of his right side going forward while his left went back to perform that right hook. Cziri wouldn't even be able to grab Yusuke's wrist during this block and counter situation. Since he hadn't moved, the fist would come smashing against his opponent's face, the power behind it capable of knocking his opponent back for quite some feet, the air being divided into a gust of wind from the clashing force of Yusuke's sudden stop and transfer of momentum directly to his opponent.

Interesting. Apparently Yususke can put his arm down to his knee, in fact, under his kneebone and even further to the left, while firing a right hook and already sending the left side of his body backwards for a right hook that was fired simultaneously with the "grab." However, that is foolish, as he didn't grab the hand and then pull backwards while his right hook fired. He probably wouldn't even touch Cziri's hand with his entire body with a lack of balance, complimented by the fact that the excited gusts were ******** with his position.

And no, there was no block. He simply intercepted your obvious counter-attack. I mean, Yusuke was bending a good portion of his body downward while he was flying. I mean, come on. Two, don't assume your speed is quicker than Cziri's. He can block just as you have blocked just about every attack.

And because of that, Yusuke should be in two pieces now.

Yusuke did not need to rely on balance in midair. And he wasn't as high as Cziri was thinking. He had flew toward him with the intention of kneeing him in the stomach, so the level of his ascension was not too high to where he had to travel a long distance to punch Cziri. He just sent out the hook motion as if he was standing there normally. If Cziri was so eager to hit Yusuke with his blade, then he would strike as the fist hits into his opponent's face. Just, his blade would static against Yusuke demonic aura and be deflected due to the high amounts of interference between them both. Cziri's power depended on using wavelengths and frequencies to destroy any defense. But too bad that Yusuke's power lacked that key aspect.

It was as choatic as Cziri's aura, and the fact alone that it was a monstrosity meant to oppose and destroy anything that gets in contact with it made it the best defence against Cziri. It couldn't know any information that Cziri wanted to know because any to all information about Yusuke was not going to be read with a simply energy blade contacting his body or energy. Yusuke's power was too great for that, which is why he would go uncut by the mystic blade. However, the contact alone would have Yusuke wince, since the blade caused a chaotic strike that creates a cut in a scar-like manner on the left side of his knee, his pants showing the damage, but that was all the damage he would take from this weapon of Cziri's.

So, his blade was able to hurt Yusuke, just it wasn't able to cut through his body with that much ease. Cziri would now be struck by the punch, the twisting gusts being an "after" effect of the punch, not a "before" or "during" effect, so Cziri still was unmoving from his position until after he is hit. Score! But demon Yusuke was not done.

Are such wavelengths so easy to hide? Not so much. Cziri intended for interference, in fact, he was using the very law of destructive interference to target any wavelengths of Yusuke that were in the path of his blade. Simple atoms hold tiny wavelengths that are not normally noticeable from a macroscopic point of view.

Now, your power might be very great, but a half-demon is by no means ridiculously over an avatar of a deity. Sure, I'm all for balance in a fight, that's why I make Cziri much less powerful than he would normally be, but I do not appreciate some sort of ridiculous unbalance in a fight. Just as you could focus your aura around your body as Cziri is; Cziri could "extend his aura" by using his eyes as a medium and manipulating his specific chakra meridians. It was not the blade reading the data, it was the eye logging the data and calculating changes in position by utilizing certain equations. His eye was aided by the chakra as stated, and so the blade was given energy ready to fit whatever form necessary (in this case, reversed wavelengths.) His eye read data at perhaps the most basic level, and communicated with the blade like so. Most supernatural energies do act like waves and so do many natural energies, transferring energy in a semi-ordered pattern. They usually do repeat certain sequences over time as they move, and unless you do truly have a different, logical way of using such energy, it is still able to be affected. If any thing, you could compare this to a strange conflict of energies similar to how you could explain "matter and antimatter;" they both would destroy each other on contact. Sure, this could become a war of attrition to survive, but Yusuke was too foolish to even act in that manner. His power is unevenly spread out, while Cziri is focusing enough for the eye, and devoting the rest to the blade as necessary.

And a note, this slash wasn't slow at all.

But in this war of attrition, Cziri had been saving energy, taking simple hits; also, he fed off the sun giving him even more potential energy and he had also stolen energy from the simple fields of life surrounding them.

Cziri may have encountered multiple supernatural users in his lifetime, but that didn't mean they all fell under the same law. This law of his energy acting on different wavelengths was so wrong. Psychics were known for using their brain waves to conduct such energy in wavelengths, such as his teacher Genkai, but Yusuke did not have to depend on such a thing. His spirit energy was natural to him, something he discovered through death. To say his energy was made of these atoms and following wavelengths was well off the mark. This was Yusuke's "spirit" energy, a force that came from something that could not even be described by science. And if demon energy was the negative counterpart of spirit energy in a way, then it was the same thing: it had nothing to do with wavelengths or frequencies.

That was why the information reader known as Cziri's aura, eye, or whatever he called it would gather nothing. The main reason was because it would be blocked. And the second was, he would not be able to pick information that he normally looked for, because that information was never there. Again, there was no way to explain the supernatural, so Cziri's way of trying to use these scientific methods to destroy Yusuke with one cut of his energetic blade would not pass against such a force.

And yet again, Cziri stood in the same place. That punch surely was going to hurt now.
PostPosted: Sun May 27, 2007 4:39 pm

How would the energy travel then? The only physical energy that doesn't truly travel in waves would be heat, and that would not be a fun example for Yusuke's energy. Waves and heat do travel through mediums, but heat follows the law of entropy and disperses. Even if Yusuke's chi didn't followed that law, traveling directly through the air or "planar space" would be ineffective. Regardless, Cziri could still counter.

No, Cziri extended his aura; even if you blocked him, he could still FEEL your aura and your information. He had it active for a while, and if the bit about wavelengths wasn't true, than why would he create something that he knew was impossible to create (in this case, destructive interference.) He would have noticed there were no waves and simply transformed his energy into the soul reaver form; a form that simply consumes others and partially destructs them using negative energy. Roughly, it would be the same war of attrition, except Cziri could downpower his eye.

Then Cziri had to update his book because no matter what he knew, Yusuke's energy did not travel in the way that other forms of energy did. Again, it wasn't something one could explain, and surely Cziri would not ever know the secrets behind this. The reason why he had created something was because he assumed Yusuke's body, energy, and much of everything was set to his beliefs, but in the surprise, it wasn't what he thought it to be.

But the soul reaver form would be in the same situation: combating Yusuke's aura against it. If it was meant to destruct something, and Yusuke's energy was the same way, then they'll just be opposing one another. Not one hurting the other, which meant Yusuke wasn't hurt at all.

And while that occurred, Cziri would already be gone as Yusuke delivers his punch. It looked like Cziri's power was little to none effect against this warrior.
