She lightly colored, immediatly stopping her odd hybrid dance. The female looked to the side, frowning as if to try and cover up the spike of embarrassment. "I...huh...I...supposed...Hulabell." It sort of sounded like a flower to her, but what else would she call it? Bellyhula?

Hula Bob scratched his head. "I've never heard of that, but it was awesome!" He chuckled as he pushed the hair from his eyes. "It's neat, but I think I'll stick to the normal hula. The hulabell looks better on you."

"I...sort of just made it up.." sweatdrop The female reached up to fix the flower in her hair. "And...I don't think you were messing up that badly..." Best he would get out of her in terms of encouragement

Hula Bob smiled. "I see! Awesome! Well, if you say so then thanks. Would you like dessert? I have a nice coconut cream pie." Hula Bob walked over to the blanket and pulled it out. It did look nice, but then again all his food did to him.

She eyed the pie slightly as if it was poisoned. His food was good...and really...the pie looked delicious. It was just...she couldn't help but feel like now she sorta owed him something. The delicious meal, a free hula lesson...all because she was on a date with the owner of a resteraunt? "No thank you, not all that fond of sweets." That was believable right?

"Oh, okay. That's a bummer. Still, do you mind if I have a piece?" He cut out two pieces and put them on two plates. One for him and one in case Niday changed her mind.

"What do you like?" Hula Bob asked as he took a bite.

Smoothly Niday sat down on the blanket, blatantly ignoring the alluring slice of pie. Oh no. He had backed her up into a corner. How to respond, how to respond... "...Nothing." A pretty obvious fib she realized right after, wishing the word back. Lovely.

Hula bob chuckled. "Well, I know you can't like anything but you dont' want to talk about it. That's okay. Is there anything you want to know about me? That's what people do on dates, right?" He wasn't too sure, but still dates were for getting to know others.

She lightly blushed, slowly shaking her head. "I...I don't know...I...suppose...hmm..." The female looked at him evenly, golden eyes glittering coldly in the firelight. And oddly beautifully even with the cold emotion and the slitted pupils from her transfermation. "Can I ask anything?"

Hula Bob finished the rest of his pie. "Sure. Anything is awesome. I'm an open book really." He was going to hide anything. He was older, had great grandkids and didn't leave the beach. Sure they might not be great things to a teen girl, but Hula Bob wouldn't mind telling her anyway.

"Alright..." She imagined that couldn't be very wise. If you let the wrong people in...they could really hurt you. Part of the reason why she never was really hurt before. "Are you afraid of anything?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 30, 2007 7:53 am

Hula Bob thought about that for a moment. "Well, I go with the tide. I let the my life go it's corse. Though, that's more for worry and depression then it is scared." He pushed the hair from his eyes. "I never leave the beach and more then likely won't ever. It's a bummer. Am I afriad of something? Is that why?" He shurgged his shoulders as he wasn't even sure.

She couldn't help but blink at him, a bit taken aback at his responce. "Why? It is...one thing to love the ocean, and have no desire to leave it but..." Niday looked out into the glittering waters, beautifully glinting off the moons reflection and expanding it in it's depths. "shouldn't you at least see whats around? Ignorance is bliss...however, it can kill you." She was more curious to why he wouldn't leave, to why he wasn't afraid of anything. Afterall, that little peice was the basic male response.

"There is no need. I've seen the most wonderful part of this Isle. It's awesome! I have my home, bar and my family. Nothing is making me want to leave." Hula Bob said. He really had no good reason. There was nothing calling him away from his beach so he knew he would and could stay.

"Nothing to kill ya here dudette." Hula Bob chuckled as he grabbed another piece of pie.

Slowly she nodded, fully anticipating this answer at least. How...boring. After a moment, Niday opened her mouth again, voice soft. "Is there anything you want to know about me?"

OOC: ack x___X; and concidering Nigh the date had been going so well too.
