I can't count to 32 in one second. I suppose I fail? Really, you'd need some kind of crazy slow mo to prove this, and that seems to be an effort in wankery.

Chaos A.D. Kiyoshi_Mizukage joe-dude667 Gears of Madness I've heard that Steve Vai can play 54 notes per second. If that's true, then that'd certainly be the fastest. 54 notes per second... rolleyes stare I think that is a bit over the top... That is pretty excesive. I watched this one video on youtube, and the guy might actually have a world record. If I find the video, I'll post it. do you know how easy it is to just speed things up and make it sound okay? i saw a guy get 32 notes a second 32 notes?! How can you count that?

Tom Morello is pretty sweet, but the intro to Cochise? It's not exactly mind blowingly hard to play... The solo for Know Your Enemy, now that is shred! =P

hylianhero27 Guys guys guys... Petrucci is the fastest player. Come on, like 4 billion beats per minute. That's like, more power than there is in the sun. He's got a foot control rig that kills people when he plays fast enough through it. He's a god. (kudos to those who get this joke) don't forget the time machine....
