He heard that little peony as loud as if it were yelling. They were always quite opinionated after all. It actually brought a laugh from him when he thought about it. Maybe she was thinking he was marveling at the flower? Well it was better than her knowing the truth and laughing at him wasn't it?
"It says I still smell like a skunk." Sondraes chuckled and rubbed at his fur a bit.

Mami frowned at the little flower and set it down, "Why don't you scrub yourself a bit? Maybe roll in some flowers? Might make you smell better?" she suggested, laying down.

"Is there something that I can use to scrub myself with? I've sort of... never done this before. Though the flower thing doesn't sound SO bad...." Sondraes mused slightly, debating what it would be like to smell like a posey or a blue bell.

She waded her way back into the water and using her claws, she scrubbed at his fur gently, humming gently as she went about her work, being careful not to scratch his skin. But she blushed lightly, enjoying how close she was to him now.

Glowing red eyes turned to gaze back at her and Sondraes almost started to purr as she scrubbed at his back. Never had he had anyone do such a thing for him, so it was quite different. In fact he had to admit that he rather liked it.
"T-thank you." The blush spread over his dark face once more and his eyes almost started to glow brighter.

She blushed harder as she finished scrubbing him down and she smiled, looking down at the water, "N-no problem." she whispered. She made her way to shore and shook herself off again.

Following her carefully, Sondraes shook himself off and sent water everywhere before flopping down and licking at his ribbon-marked leg slightly. All the dirt that was still there stood out on his gold markings. It was annoying. Though as soon as he was done all he realized that he had left to do was stare at her again and despite what he tried, Draes ended up staring bluntly at her, his tails swising from side to side.

She cleaned up her paws as she let herself dry off again. She looked up and caught him staring right at her and she blushed brightly, fidgetting her paws. She then picked up the posey and twiddled with it.

Now she was even cuter. Sondraes couldn't supress his blush anymore or his need to do something to show her what his feelings were. The downside of growing up mostly alone was that he had no qualms about doing anything at all. So when the idea hit him it was instantaneous, he was across the distance and pressed their muzzles together immediatly.

She let out a breath and she finally set the flower down. She looked up to him as he calm forward and she blushed hard when he pressed his muzzle against hers and she froze. She then relaxed as she pulled back and stared at him. She then slowly smiled and she leaned over to nuzzle her cheek against his, closing her eyes as she scooted closer to him.

Pressing his shoulder next to hers, Sondraes kissed her ears and her eyebrows and felt his heart flutter. Had he just... did she.... kiss?
"Silly boy, he found her."
"Well that was simple, I never knew that it would be that easy."
"And they say listening to flowers never paid off."
They rang in his head and Sondraes blocked them out, for the first time in his life, all he wanted to hear were the words of the female sitting beside him, not the words of flowers.

She blushed hotly as he kissed her face and she giggled. She felt oddly at....peace, which she liked and she hoped the feeling never left. "I'm glad the flowers lead you to me..." she whispered.

"I must say... I'm glad that I listen to them, they've yet to lead me astray." With that he kissed her softly and smiled. "Would you mind very much if a strange Kitsu stayed with you, even if just for a little while? Or for good?"

Mami blushed as she kissed him back and she nuzzled his neck, "I wouldn't mind if you stayed for good..." she said softly, her three tails wrapping around his.

"Well little Posey... if you'd want me, I'd be more than willing to stay with you for good." His nose wandered and nuzzled at her ears and cheek softly as his tails wrapped around hers more.
