Julian frowned at the finneon and sent out Hizashi to fight it. "Last resort." The pokemon obeyed and attacked the fish. Finneon countered with water gun. This caused Hizashi to attack with Zen headbutt. When the finneon used water gun again Hizashi finished it with another last resort.
Once the battle was over Julian healed up Hizashi and returned him to his pokeball.

"Kinda boring work, huh?" Chloe asked the Kingdra when she spotted a yawn. Daimon smiled faintly nodding, before blowing a few bubbles along the surface of the water to entertain himself.

When Chloe spotted the cork bob slightly as something nibbled on the bait, Chloe and Daimon snapped to attention. They watched the cork intently, before Chloe saw it lower beneath the water once more. Snapping the rod back, Chloe hooked whatever it was on the other end of the line, reeling it in carefully. But it turned out to be a Finneon. While pretty, it wasn't really what Chloe was hoping for.
Strangely enough, she was hoping for the ugliest thing in the lake...
"Kay, Lilie, this one's yours," Chloe called to the Bayleef, who appeared on the other side of the bank. Daimon followed suit, depositing Chloe on the bank momentarily while she directed the battle.
Lilie emerged form her Pokeball, facing off against the Finneon.
"Alright, use a Seed Bomb," Chloe instructed. Lilie complied, sending a flurry of sprouting seeds from her neck. They floated in a circle, coming at the Finneon, before bursting in an explosion of plant energy, sending the fish flying.
The Finneon countered with a Gust, sending a whirlwind at Lilie. The Bayleef endured the blow, although she certainly didn't enjoy it, before sending another Seed Bomb at the fish at Chloe's command, finishing the battle.
