Yeah… I tried him in the blue tuxedo suit, and it looked weird… too light. A slightly darker tone might have been OK.
Eirwyn, a friend of mine is looking for a piccy of the Fifth (?) Doctor wearing a question mark tie - mustard yellow with red question marks… any good leads? I've had a bit of a search as well, and can't find any, although it does sound familiar. Any help would be much appreciated! biggrin

No, the 5th Doctor never wore a tie.
The 6th wore a blue polka-dot tie first season, and in the future-view episode "Terror of the Vervoids" in Trial of a Timelord he is seen wearing a striped waistcoat (that is also too tight & seems to have been designed just to make Colin look fat!) & a yellow tie with stars. He does have yellow suspenders with red question marks, and his shirt collar has red question marks as well. JNT really went hog wild with those question marks. rolleyes

*nods* …She wasn't sure about it being the Fifth, and when I looked through some pics earlier, I saw it was more likely to be the Sixth or Seventh, if any… Thank you very much for that link, Eirwyn, I have passed it on… and it's great! xd

Yup! If I need a picture of somebody in the show, I go look there!
There's a mini-banner competition just started at DWG. This should be good, as there are a lot of talented banner-makers there. We have zillions of banners, all sizes & shapes! whee I've got 3 entries ready so far...& we have til sometime in May to submit entries!
At the moment we've got a shiny new Randosig guild banner with Roobarb's banners on it. When winners get picked, they'll go on it instead.
Roobarb makes great banners!

Yes, I did, I liked the literary references, which gave it a bit of depth, and the humour of the Doctor's interaction with Martha's mother… he travels through time, faces down impossible odds at every turn… but is totally wiped out by somebody's mother… blaugh
I wasn't too keen on the second part of the story about the Human Daleks… it just felt a bit too strung out, not enough new stuff there for a whole second instalment, but maybe that was just me… xp
My friend still hasn't found that question mark tie - but we now have around eight people who are convinced they saw one… either we've all imagined it, or we're just not very good at picture research! wink whee

And they just appointed some new mods, too. It's a big guild, with members in the UK, Australia, Canada & the US. Check out the Picture Gallery! There are some talented young artists there. I like Pirpi-Chan's Doctor Hoo cartoons. xd

OK, I saw about half or so of the 1st episode on YouTube, and I have pirate copies of episodes 2, 3, 4 & 5 now.
I am so sad that when the US finally got Who here, it was so BAAAAD.... crying gonk scream They even made Martha dumb!
So far Gridlock is by far the best of this series. Christian allegory! And very well done!
