Sure, I could run it for you. The sidequests might not be as good as and or very different than Fargore's or MOG's, but I can run the tournament pretty well! If you want, I'll create the thread ASAP! ^_^

Quick Question though: would any buffer HP from a mana shield be carried over between rounds or not?

That's the spirit Whalehunter! You'd be surprised how far you can get. My character is only lvl 24 as well, and I got really far before tieing. Even if you don't go all the way, the prizes that you do earn stay with you. And to answer your questions, none of your buffs or AP, MP go with you from round to round. Good luck!
