It's pretty fun to cosplay. I've only done it once and it was more of a crossplay. I was Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN. I know it's a girl, but a guy character design.
My friend and I are working on my Chrno(From Chrno Crusade- once again I crossplay! xd ) outift for the AFO.

I haven't done it yet, but I promised my friend that before she graduated (she's a year ahead of me) we'd go to a con as Tohma and Ryuichi from Gravitation. Now I must work on my Tohma voice...

for now, I've only cosplayed once. As a Mad Hatter of AS. But I intend more cosplays. biggrin Probably another of Mad Hatter. biggrin And at last one as Jrocker.

Nope. None of my favorite character have the same body type (or gender) as me, and while I know a lot of people dress up regardless, I'm just picky that way

There should be the option "Wants to with all your heart." Or would that be too much? I'm gonna put, "Yes, a lot." cause I crossplay all the time (As Sojiro Seta and Raistlin Majere) to school and around, but I've never been to a con before... crying

I Cosplayed at an anime con and I also dress up as my favorite characters for halloween every year. It is very fun, especially when someone is there with you cosplaying as a character relating to yours.

It was a very painful shock when i first saw him. sweatdrop
Hes a known cosplayer... and he crosscosplays as Faye Valentine from the anime Cowboy Bebop. If thats not bad... you should be grateful he waxed his a**.... first time i saw him he was as bad as a sasquatch eek very....very.. disturbing
He even did a "happy birthday mr. president" imitation for the camera crew at this years anime expo.... I couldnt stop laughing and my friend took a picture of his a** XD rofl *tear*

Oh yah... for those who want to dare to see what he looks like.... just goto google and type a search for "Manfaye" it should be at the top of the list. its linked with cosplayuniverse.com
WARNING eek Pictures you will see of him may disturb you to the point of either:
1: Complete disgust that you never want to set foot at a convention to prevent the possibility of seeing him in real life... sweatdrop or
2: Laugh your a** off so hard, youll cry and bust open your spleen rofl
(which is what i did) I swear my stomache never hurt so bad from laughing that much rofl Just about everyone crys from laughter, seeing him.
The reall funny thing is that some Hotels refuse to let him enter the building and the other cosplayers found that hillarious. rofl
Oh yah.. did i mention that one year at Sakura-Con in seatlle, When Manfaye entered the Denny's Restaraunt, a few employees ACTUALLY QUIT ON THE SPOT! rofl rofl rofl rofl
