such big quests! whee
in the stickies is a suggestion thread, as well as the donatee thread.
basically we all nominate someone from the guild who we think deserves a donation, and then set an amount we all work up to for them 3nodding

normally we try and find something in the range of 40k... a good chunk of a quest, but affordable for all who donate 3nodding
and if a person is questing a large item. such as a kiki, we'll raise the 40k, and give it to them. xd

Pixie: Yeah. That's why this guild has such a high number of members but not as many active. Like concon said, people come and attempt to get nominated. After they find out that it's a commitment before they get the donation, they leave. Ironically enough, when I first joined, I got a donation like, days after. My friend told Spamster (owner of this guild) that I stopped her from suicide (I have no clue how I did that. I just showed her a poem I wrote. sweatdrop ) and that I was questing for a lunar cloak. Spammy gave it to me almost right away. Such a sweetheart. <3
And I kinda stayed. Not because of the donation. But like everyone else here, for the people in this well. =3
Oh, and everyone sends a trade to Mr. Wishing Well for the 40k donation. Well, it's not mandatory, I suppose, but it'd be nice. And once we get to 40k, Autumn goes and gives it to the nominee. So not one person gives the whole 40k. Don't worry.

Aaah. That makes sense.
Well that's really awesome about your cloak. And that you helped someone from commiting suicide. That definitely is a good reason to deserve a prize- especially since that's not why you did it.
It's a cool idea to help people on their quests. Especially since it's like a group thing.

I'm glad I did, but it felt like I didn't really do anything at all, since I wasn't aware that I helped her until a while later. sweatdrop

And the rest were given names (Mochi, Gwee, MoMo, etc).
I think I named a majority of my 03-04 donation items... XD;; Just can't remember.
