"Ah yeah, sweet. Haven't been surfin' in almost a year, I gotta get back out there" he said squinting out into the horizon, sighing. "You seem quiet, somethin wrong?" He asked Yumi with a small look of concern on his face. "You can tell me, what's up?"

Yumi's eyes widened and she looked nervously at her other friends around the table. "I.. I'm going out for a while. I'll see you guys later," She climbed out of the booth and left quickly, pulling her jacket tightly around herself. She pulled the door open and stepped into the cold sea breeze. The door clicked shut behind her and she stepped down the bank, slipped off her shoes and soaked up the cold sea air and felt the soft sand between her toes. I'm home.

Why does she hate me?? I'm not the one who ran off! I was just "left" there. Arghh, he thought to himself as he visiously got up kicking the seat. I'm the one who should be pissed off! He ran out of the cafe "Great to see y'all again!" He called over his shoulder, slamming the door shut. By now, Yumi was a small speck in the distance. Satoshi ran to try and catch up with her.

Yumi allowed her hair to blow around her face as she placed her shoes in the sand, and slipped off her shirt. She removed her skirt and stood, shivering, in her underwear. Desparate tears running down her face. She took a few steps forward and allowed the icy cold waters to splash over her feet. She kept walking until she was up to her knees, and then did a small dive in the water.
She came up and brushed her hair out of her face and snipped, more tears spilling from her empty eyes.

Satoshi saw Yumi in the far distance and ran as fast as he could. I know, i'll sneak up on the little bugger He thought, smirking. He ran to where Yumi was and he took off his tank top and his jeans, so was left standing there in his board shorts, puffing. He put his feet quietly in the icy water and shivered. He was finally about waist deep in the water and Yumi still had no suspision of him being there. Perfect...He thought.

Yumi bowed her head and sniffed, her tears running down her nose.
"Why?" she said softly. "Why did you have to take her from me?" her voice grew louder. "Why did you take everything? The only ones I ever loved and you took them!" she yelled, slapping her hands against the surface.

Crap....Thought Satoshi, What to do now....He tried to slowly back off, thinking he may be able to escape without Yumi realising. He turned around in the cold icy water, and suddenly slipped over, crahing into the water. "DAMNIT!" He yelled.

Yumi turned, her hair flipped around and her eyes glistened with tears. "Satoshi..." she whispered, as more tears welled in her eyes.

"Yeah, look...uhh this is a tad arkward..heh.." Satoshi said, scratching the back of his head. "I just wanted to see...If you were uh ok an' everything..You sorta just ran off before." He messed up his hair, and gave Yumi an arkward smile.

Yumi waited for a second, staring up at him. She didnt know what to do, so she did the only thing she could do. She waded throught the water and wrapped her arms around him, sobbing on his shoulder. She held tight. Never wanting to let go.

Satoshi just stared blankly for a moment with a girl clinging to him. He put his arms around her waist, and hugged her tightly. They stood there in silence for what seemed like forever. He saw a huge wave forming in the distance, drawing nearer and nearer. "Wave!" he yelled, turning Yumi around to look at it.

Violet watched as Yumi and Satoshi ran from the cafe. Eyes wide she sighed and shook her head.
"You think they would get their act together by now," she muttered softly, crossing to the window and watching the two run down the main street.

"You would, but who cares?" said jesper looking slightly crestfallen. He checked his watch and sighed. "Tell you what, I dont feel like staying. " he picked up his jacket and cat and stood by the door to wait for everyone to leave the cafe. He remembered now how jealous he was of Satoshi and the terrible fight about whether he should beat him or not with Dmitri thta had made him leave.

Characters name: Richard "Angel" Duncan Age: 18 Description:  Brief background: Just came into town to find a job and to find a place to live. He ran away from home, as his parents didn't approve of him dropping out of college to be a surfer the rest of his life. He got the nickname "Angel" from the wings painted on his surfboard. He loves the colour blue, since it reminds him of the ocean which always seems to calm him down. He's not a heavy smoker, only having one when he's really stressed. He does own his own car.
