"But you decorate it splendidly, Cashimer," Lior said, smiling broadly at the other and lifting his hand to ruffle the other's hair playfully. "And I don't mind decorating it with you. You're often more fun to be around than most people I've met."

Cash grinned sheepishly, hunching his shoulders and ducking his head as Lior ruffled his hair, much like an older brother would do to a younger one. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of being thought of as a brother by the Sanguine, but what else could he be thought of? "Nah, you're too pretty to just sit by a wall and watch. You're one of the people I like to watch the most." Did that sound... odd? Cash certainly hoped not.

Lior purred curiously, eyebrows rising. "Really now?" he asked, not seeming bothered at all, but, rather, very intrigued. "What's so interesting about me, Cash? M'just a little... loose, y'know, and playful. Nothing special."

Cash flushed just a bit, and he shrugged. "You're smart," he said with a simple shrug. "And you don't mind being around me, and you like to say what's on your mind- and what's on your mind is always entertaining." He smiled, a shy expression, and tugged lightly on Lior's braid. "I like you. And you seem to like me, so..." He shrugged, and grinned sheepishly.

Aysel peered into the room that the party was to be in, a bit jittery about missing out on anything...such terribly exciting things seemed to occur whenever there was a gathering of any sort..and so she'd set out early. She had hoped that, miracle of miracles, Grave or Antigone or Ubel would have had the same thought as she (well...perhaps not Grave. He always seemed to be right where the action was, Aysel thought with a sigh), but no such luck. Then, her eyes fell on Lior, as well as his friend (who was vaguely familiar..perhaps they had been introduced at one point?), and she smiled in relief. Somebody she knew. Ah, perfect..and so, the melancholic female carefully approached them, not wanting to bother them if they were having a private conversation, but not wanting to look like she was ignoring them by staying away from them. She coughed quietly to alert them to her presence, smiling guardedly. After all, she didn't know Lior's friend very well, if at all...and so had to be cautious with her actions and guestures, as well as her words.

Lior looked up as he heard someone else come into the room, pausing the conversation and purring a little, before a warm smile curled on his lips and he stood up straight once more. Ah, Aysel. His dear friend, for they could rant and rave at each other for as long as they wanted, while playing with one anothers' hair. "Aysel, my sweet Melancholy, come, come," he drawled in that smooth way of his, gesturing for her to come to him and Cashimer. "I'm not sure if the two of you have met, so, this little one here is Cashimer. Cash, this is Aysel."

"I'm hardly little," Cash protested, slipping on that mask of his. He was confident, out-going, and likable. Well, perhaps he wasn't all of those things, but others didn't need to know that. "We met, in passing, at the St. Patrick's Day party. Though it seems like I met everyone in passing there. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Aysel." He took her hand, and with a gallant, flourishing gesture, he bent over it, and brushed his lips ever so lightly across her knuckles. "I wager that I know more of you than you know of me. Antigone tells me of you often."

Aysel smiled guardedly, obeying Lior's beckoning. She nodded carefully to his friend- Cashimer- and then squeaked in surprise as he bowed over her hand. Resolving to return the guesture, she herself fell into a curtsy, her cheeks flushing delicately. "Antigone is far too kind, I'm sure." she murmured, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Cashimer. Hopefully you will form an opinion of me based upon myself and not upon the sweetness of my dearest Anti...else I fear you'll be gravely disappointed." She gave a soft laugh, then turned to Lior and grabbed him for a hug. "What've you been up to, Lior? I hardly see you anymore, it seems."

Lior laughed softly after watching the two of them with amusement, moving to curl his arms around Aysel in return, nuzzling at her hair and pressing a kiss to her cheek. "I haven't been up to much, my dear, but it is a pleasure to see you again, truly," he said, smiling happily as he drew back. He settled back against the table again, picking up his juice and looking just delighted to have two he cared for so with him. "And you, sweet Aysel, dear lovely being, have you been up to any trouble lately?"

Cashimer took just a tiny step back, wanting to let the two friends be together for a few moments without himself as an interruption. He personally thought that Antigone had been rather spot on in her description of Aysel, but he kept such thoughts to himself as he a soft smile played upon his lips, and he watched Lior and Ay speak with one another.

"Nothing out of the usual..." She replied with a laugh, her eyes gleaming. Lior had a habit of lowering her guard...it would be annoying, if she didn't adore him so. She barely even blushed at his multitude of compliments, used to it- it was just the way that Lior was. But- she wasn't paying attention to Lior's friend. Glancing back over at Cashimer, she smiled hesitantly at him and nodded awkwardly. She wasn't quite sure what to say to him.."How long have you been friends with Lior? The cad never told me about you.."

"Lior," Cash admonished playfully, forcing himself to appear open and sure of himself, because people liked him better that way. "How could you! Not talking about me to such a lovely young lady." With a flourish, he stepped in front of the Sanguine, grinning to Aysel. "I've known him for a little while. I wager for about as long as you. I helped him and Ubel work out a few of their issues, I suppose you could say."
