Valec takes a step backwards as the.. Creature, runs up to him. Blinking and seeming a bit befuddled at the suddenness of it.
"Err.. Hi, Nukunuku.." mumbling the words as he peers down to the coins in his palm. "I don't? Then.. How does the innkeep earn his pay?"

Valec nods slowly, peering over at the innkeep.
"Alright.." Taking the portion of porridge that just conviniently got finished, nodding politely to Nuku before trodding over to sit down by his table.
Poking slightly in the porridge before digging in.

Standing outside the tavern, a woman know as "The Shadow" to everyone but a select handful, reaches back and pulls a large black hood over her head, hiding every one of her features. She strides in, her black cloak sweeping elegantly around her. Something seems off... a bit inhuman about her, but something else gives the impression that asking would be fatal. She sits at a corner table, looking over the others with a cold air. Pulling out a small vial she settles down, taking small sips every few minutes while gazing out the window.

Valec peers up from his bowl at the person who just passed his table to sit at the one besides him in the corner. He watches the ... Patch of black clothing with what would seem curiosity..
"Psst" He makes a sound and lowers his head and inches towards the table she's sitting at, as if wanting to whisper something to her.

She stiffened then slowly turned her head to face the one beside her. Her fingers fiddled with the vial, if out of nervousness or being annoyed could not be discerned.

Valec lowers his voice and speaks loud enough for the.. Patch of black clothing to hear.
"They give out free food to adventurers here.. Just go to the barkeep and he'll let you have what you want."
Valec nods seriously, settling back straightly in his chair, starting on his porridge again. His demeanor making it unclear wether he was joking, or being dead serious.

The Shadow gave a deep haunting laugh. "Darling, I don't care what they give out free, they don't have this." She lifted the vial and emptied the last of it's contents in one swift motion.

Seeing the two semi new people talking kinda secretly in a corner FARGORE Walks over to them. “Hay there how you guys doing? Theres no need to be alone where all good people here blaugh ....... at least I think. stare ” With that he grabs a chair spins it around so its facing backwards and plops down in it right between the two tables. “So, Kill any good monsters lately? wink ”

Shadow shot him a look that was gaurenteed to chill the flesh off the bones of all it was directed to... not literally of course. After a few seconds she dropped the piecing gaze, "Actually, No. Nothing around seems to hold together past the first blow." She drew out another vial and gulped it down, quite unlike the previous one. "If you know any that would give some as well as they take, which I doubt will be much, let me know." She went back to gazing out the window as the moonlight made patterns on the floor beneath it.

“Well right now Valec is trying the Tournament. Its one of the quests I run. The fist couple of fights would be just as you said. Easy kills. But I can promise you that the later fights will give you a run for your money twisted . And since he just started a little while ago you two should finish around the same time so you could team up in a quest if you wanted. wink “

She chuckled. "A tournament eh? We'll see how it hold up. As for him..." She turned and looked at him. "...let's hope I won't have to bring him out on a stretcher." She stood and started out for the arena leaving a chill behind her.

He then poked his head back down, wolfing down the last of his supper and leaning on the table with his elbows.
