GarrisonKael Unromantic_Phantom I doubt he would be quite so happy about it. Erik would probably want to punjab most of his phans as well as the people who have portrayed him in movies/musicals. Besides, quite a few members on this site have deviant art links in their profiles. What would happen if he got there and saw some of the phan art people have made? I have to agree. I think he would be very angry about the whole thing. He'd been greeted with only disgust and fear by his fellow humans. He'd see this now as a cruel mocking of al lthat he endured. A farse at his expense. His utter hatred for most of mankind would make something like this guild probably to drive him into a murderous rampage. Plus, he'd be in his 160's so, he probably wouldn't really do too much. It's a hypothetical question, so we can ignore age for the moment.

Poor Erik would be shocked into a state of either A) terror B) Paralisis or C) glee.
After being hated all your life, and having the girl of his dreams leave him, then finding out he has millions of adoring phans, well, let's just say it could be a very terrifying experiance having people refer to him as sexy... handsome... strong... passionate... *starts to drool* heart domokun heart
And if he were on gaia, I'm not sur ehe would find it right away by typing in phantom, remember, he doesn't know he had legions of phans ready to caiter to his every, and i mean every, whim. he would probably see it by accident in someone's sig.
I think we would scare him. The bishie sence common in the Phan Girl would instantly identify him, people would start an international phan girl war, (this time not over Kurama! Who'd have thunk it?) literally rippign at each others throats, we would give him more mental trauma than he already had. crying crying crying
There is any number of ways he could react, and not all of them admittedly pretty. He was mentally unstable. He might go into a murderous rage and bring the rage of heaven and hell upon us. or he might decide to go down and posses someone, and then use them to get free sex because everyone want's to f*ck the phantom.... xp
Either way, this is all speculation, though admittedly fun.

I had a sort of wierd thought. I believe in reincarnation, so what if he came back to life in this day and age? I know he's just a storybook character, but wasn't there some evidence and bodies found in the cellars below the Opera House? I went on this website (if I find it I'll out it somewhere) where they had newspaper clippings and one of them said "body found in opera cellars... wearing gold ring... stuff like that. That's an odd thing to think, but...

Either that or enslave us all, and we wouldn't complain, would we e.e ALso, I don't think phangirls would fight over him. We'd probably pool our funds, build him a house wherever he wished, and take turns waiting on him, catering to his every whim.

X3 There WAS a corpse found on the Rue Scribe side with a ring. I'm not so sure about the Soprano, though I know there was a famous soprano with the name. A counterweight from the Chandelier (which weighed over 6 tons) fell, only killing one patron. No clue on who it was though. Just thought I'd confirm those.
