I don't think anyone can actually imagine something close to the "real" superhuman, if there is/willbe one... maybe he or she (who knows, maybe neither) would be too different (physically or psichologically)

Periathien I quite like the idea about Autistic children. Rain man type stuff going on. What are they called? Oh yeah, idiot savants. (Sorry if that's not politically correct.) I think it is quite possible that they already exist today. I like the blind man thing to. Wasn't something like that written in a book, some book for teens about dolphins or something. It talks about trying to explain to the blind man what things look like and how we can never truly know what the next step is going to be because we simply CAN'T SEE IT. I thought that was really cool. You've gotta wonder what it is that will separate the 46 and 2 people from the 44 and 2 people. Will they look different? Will they communicate telepathically? Will they not have to communicate at all because they are all one consciousness, therefore no secrets and no toughts completely of their own. That idea kind of scares me. But think about, you wouldn't have fears, guilt, or hate because everyone would be so in tune with eachother that they would simply not be possible. The one problem I see with that excelled way of life is that it can possibly cut out love in the way we know it though it would create an absolute love for everything. Would mating patterns be the same in a 46 and person? Would they year-round breed or become Ape and Essence five-week breeders? How do we know? That idea really scares me too. Anyhoo, enough speculation for me right now. My head is starting to hurt. man, this has to be my favorite thread so far...everyone is having a real fu ntime talking about this, good topic! and yeah i wonder the same things your talking about....especially the love thing...it freaks out to think...the one thing i strive for...could be comepletly abolished...for all we know, the next step is asexuality, meaning, no sexual reproduction we will have the egg and the sperm in ourselves and we will self fertilize...does that mean love is pointless? i sure hopenot...im a hopeless romantic, that last thing i wanna here is, "oh btw...all those years you seached for the "one" well turns out YOU WASTED ALL THAT TIME ******** was god talking btw ahaha, if he exsists, i just imagine him to talk like that lol.

Ok but... maybe this new kind of people will have new kinds of feelings... or something else, like I said, it's too difficult to imagine something close to what they would be like... but you shouldn't be scared anyway, this can't happen while we're here, it has to be a long process to get to this person, you all will be dead when the superhuman arrives xD... heh, that's not funny....
... also, I was thinking that maybe when everyone is evolved, ppl like us will be considered made genetically wrong... we would be like... the retarded of the future ._.

The super humans may be respectful, they may be corupt minded(which comes with power), or they may even be blank. Its hard to believe the possibilites, but thats what facts are. We are in all ways, and any way either ********, or saved. Its not like there arnt anyother choices, but those are pretty major ones. And if God is real then why isn't he considered the super human. Thats a question on my mind. Why did he creat us just to evolve to something to powerful. Even if the 48(super human just shorter for it)is brilliant, genious or even beyond it will not change the fact that it will corupt ones mind. The chances of one being good or bad are fifty fifty, am i right. Its not like some fantasy, but its reality. You never know when your baby is going to be gentle or blank or so on. Its not like we can predict. Now put that to the chances of you actually knowing you will have a 48 baby in the beginning. Odds all even up. If God was real he would have to be smarter then that. What perfect image of God makes a mistake. God can't over look it either he is all powerful. Its something to think about. All though this all reminds me of Adam and Eve. They were supposed to be perfect, super, and beyond. Didn't have to eat a single bit of food, could live forever. Maybe its just man who will be creating Adam and Even this time. Its all so complicated and hard, but yet easy. It all connects. Maybe we are the Gods that we worship. Or maybe the 48 will be the new Gods of our life. Civilization will be changed completely. War will be terrifying if you think about it. Will material objects be needed anymore with 48. Will all life be ended before we even have the chance. Thats where reincarnation may come into play. If life ends, then it will only make a reborn 48. Accept it wont be in our destroyed Earth, but quite possibably a planet that makes the 48's seem like cave men. And what about aliens for that matter. What are they, will 48 be aliens to us at first. We wont even know what they are at first, we will be scared. O well, im done for now, that should bring a bit of discussion.

I was told that the thing about how we only use 5% of our brain is partly true. We do use mostly every part, but the thing is we're unable to use each part at one time. This might be where that all seeing, knowing, hearing thing comes in. LSD allows more than one part of the brain(the part that stimulates dreams) to be active at one time and people claim this is enlightning [Timothy Leary xd ].
Ah, but that was fairly pointless.
It is possible that would would be considered the retarded, but keep in mind retarded is only what is stated in the text books. To tell is a human is retarded or not they're judged. Because they're slower or have a difficult time at understanding then they are labelled retarded because they do not currently reach out species' mental abilities.
I doubt that a superior race would be corrupted due to power. As the mind grows it would probably be easier for us to accept and understand situation, emotions, and the such.
As we progress we will probably seperate sex and love more. Love can be between two human beings; an emotion they share. Sex, on the other hand, is between two opposite organisms in the species to create offspring. Perhaps we will learn to love either sex as much as we would care about our sexual partner and in ways seperate and accumulate our emotions for them.
**edit: When I say the above I do not mean that too completely seperate the feelings of love and sex. No... just that one can feel the love they would have for their sexual partner with other ********, this is hard for me to explain it in the way I'm thinking.)

That last post is definitely a little too Ape and Essence for me. Would we be considered HOTS???? Separating love and sex bothers me. I'm a hopeless romantic as well. It's hard to think that an idea our society is based so firmly in could be considered wrong practically. You're probably right about that. But I don't want to be considered one of the ape-like HOTS. That's scary. Something Adam said reminded me of the 4400. I know it's kind of a dorky show, but the whole thing about how they can either save us or destroy us rang a bell. Maybe we're thinking too much inside the box. Maybe 46 and 2s will be completely different from eachother, submit different things to a new building society. My guess is that we would not be enslaved. I am hoping that even if they didn't have the morals and were corrupted by power (which I doubt) they would be able to sort through our history in a moment and see that slavery is a bad idea. I was thinking about the whole reincarnation thing. If you really want to get into it, I could warp someone's mind with the ideas going through my head about it. What if death itself is the path to 46 and 2. What is they are already in existence but on another plain. How do we know? There is so much speculation about what happens after we die. Maybe we've got the idea of heaven and hell all wrong. Maybe they are one supreme place that we go APON becoming super humans, casting aside our mortal bodies and accepting life truly without being hindered by things like "mind" or "body", existential things that don't mean a thing in real life. Imagine just how much deeper love could be (trying to take an optimistic view) if there was no sex hindering people. There would be no need to fornicate seeing as how people wouldn't have bodies anymore. They would just have to BE and be completely everything they are. Maybe that's what death really is. God, I hope. That's the nicest thought I've had all day. Then again, maybe I'm completely insane. Who knows? I love the idea of reincarnation and prefer it over the "new" idea of heaven and hell for the "good" and "evil". I believe in karma and justice and almost everything Buddha stood for, but I wish there didn't have to be punishment in our next lives. Maybe the punishment would be to be born 44 and 2 in a 46 and 2 world where you would probably end up being studied like an animal because that's what they would conisder us to be. All right. Enough! I'm going to crack my skull open!

In their newsletter, the band mentioned a book titled "Nothing in This Book Is True, But Its Exactly How Things Are". There is a theory explained that in addition to our individual consciousness, we have a collective human consciousness. We are part of and connected to a greater organism, and all other living things. To obtain and be able to use and understand our collective consciousness, humans must evolve, and part of that evolution is the addition of two new chromosomes. You know the human body has 46 chromosomes - 44 normal chromosomes and 2 that determine gender (forty-four & 2) - So with the addition of two more, we would have Forty-Six & 2. Most of that has been covered. What we are trying to figure out at this point is what that evolution would mean. I quite like the gaia (geya) theory when mixed with the 46 and 2 theory. They go well together. The idea that not only are we all one consiousness but that that consiousness is part of a larger whole that makes up every living thing making us God. If we evolve into understanding and melding with that being, how will we change physically, emotionally, mentally, etc.
