i play vandorin 2 1/2....i have been playing for the longest time and i never can figure out wat the different sized reeds do....i tried 3 and 3 1/2, but i dont remember wat the difference was...oh well! CLARINETS RULE!!!, BUT MY BAND TEACHER SUCKS CAUSE SHE IS THE MEANEST PERSON ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play vandoren 2 or 2 1/2 depends on the weather.......I play clarinet.....

I use size 4's, vandorens, rue lepic 56.
Usually at marching band I'll used 3 1/2 rue lepics [iono why sweatdrop ] and for orchestra and concert band I'll use size 4's.

For alto...I use 3 1/2 hemke or something...my former teacher recommended that kind... and for clarinet I use 2 1/2 rico royal... sweatdrop

Vandorn 3, usally, right now I'm out of 3 reeds so I borrowed a 2 reed from another clarinet, it's to soft.... 3nodding

Mitchell Lurie (sp?) 2 1/2 but I have a box of 3s that I am going to switch to soon, and I am considering, after that box, switching to vandorens
