After finishing her share of the rabbit, Itsuki walked to the lake to get a drink. Looking up at the sky, Itsuki noticed it was quite late at night. 'Haha, and to think, I'm still wide awake!'

Loki chuckled at his tribe's interaction. Whispering quietely to Rae, he said, "It'll be alright, little one." He turned back ot Itsuki and said, "Anything interesting up there?"

Itsuki looked back at Loki from the night sky. "Yup! It's a crescent moon, tonight," Itsuki turned her body so she could see the marking above her hind leg. "I've always loved the crescent moon!"

Loki looked up as well. "Yes, such a beautiful thing. Simple, yet powerful. He turned back to the lake. "But sometimes I get the feeling this lake holds more power..."

Okay, I'm really, really, really, sorry I left without notice, but my dad kicked me off and then we went out and now I have to clean the kitchen... So yeah... I'll be back as soon as I can.
Ryari tried to talk, but with the rabbit in her mouth, she couldn't so she accepted the greetings with a nod and trotted up to Loki with her kill. "I brought you this," She purred, her tail lashing nervously with so many other foxes around.
[cuts forward to current events x3]
Ryari followed their gazes up to the moon, its beautiful cresent glow, that when she turned to the lake, reflected with a mysterious rippling glow. "Yes, But it may be the moon and the lake together," She said ominously.

Itsuki looked out onto the lake. She hadn't noticed it before now, but she felt something. It was the same thing that pulled her towards the lake for the first time. 'Maybe I just got used to the feeling...' Either way, Itsuki agreed with Loki completely. There was something powerful about the lake.

Loki looked at the offering and smiled. "Thank you." He looked at her, then back at the lake. "You may be right, but I think it's just the lake. i feel this pulsating..thing coming from the center of it.
Rae smiled nervously at Ryari before turning her attention to the lake. She got up close to the frozen surface, trying to see through it.

Ryari Padded up to the shore next to the kit. "I suppose you may be right..." She mumbeled, her thoughts drawing to the lake. They were right, the glow that she'd thought was reflecting off the lake from the moon was actually coming from the lake. Ryari reached out a paw and set it on the cold frozen lake. It seemed to feel.....soft?

Itsuki kept staring across the lake. Then she looked up as it started snowing again. 'Good thing I never minded the cold...'

Loki sighed. "I'm curious, but I don't want to risk going out there right now. Who knows just how sturdy the ice is?"
Rae's head snapped up at that. She hadn't been alive for long, and weighed very little. This was her chance to prove to herself and to her new tribe members her worth. Steeling herself, she set out across the lake surface, headed cautiously towards the middle.

Itsuki looked back across the lake from the sky as Rae started walking across the ice. 'It can't be that stable, though,' Itsuki thought, 'since the lake isn't completely frosted over. There are many watery parts all over the surface...'

"Th-the kit!!" She studdered. "Come back!! We don't know how sturdy the ice is!!" She couldn't help it, she followed her precariously across the frozen surface. She transfered her weight to her haunches, so the inital impact of her paw wouldn't crack the brittle ice, and She padded slowly after the kit.

Loki bit back a scream as Rae set out. Distracting her wasn't going to keep her alive. Growling in frustration, he watched her anxiously. There wasn't much he could do now.
Rae watched the ice around her nervously. There were still unfrozen parts, and she made sure to avoid them. Eventually, she reached the center and looked down. The glow here was very bright, almost blinding. Pressing her ear to the surface, she could hear strange noises.

Itsuki ran up to the lake's edge next to Loki. "She's... on the light..." Itsuki said, amazed. "I wonder what could be there..."

Ayari caught up to Rae when she'd stopped at the center. "Rae... what..." She paused, her curiousity overtaking her protective nature. She bent and put her ear to the ice, and she too could hear the noises.
