Apollo glowed brightly as Dayht spoke to him. He then noticed his pole. "Oh, oh you're right!" he pulled up quickly and there was a fish on the end. It wasn't too big, but it was cool. "Now we let it go?"

She clapped excitedly with her free hand against her arm, grinning. "I guess so. Raken says that its edible. But thats just mean." The day pae grinned at his fish before glancing at her hook.... eek "The worm is gone!"

Apollo nodded and helped the fish off the hook. "Yeah, plus I don't know how to cook it." He shurgged and then let the fishie go. "See, ya!" He waved.
"Oh yeah? You got a nibble then. My worm is gone too, so now we need more? Maybe we need those lure things? That's what some fishermen use, I read."

@_@ "They ate the worm while I wasn't looking...sneaky things..." She pulled the hook out of the water, resting the rod now against a shoulder. "And what is a...'lure' exactly?"

Apollo chuckled they really were sneaky. "Well, they sorta look like this." He made a light lure. It had a round bright bit with a few hooks hanging on. "It lures them like a worm or something?" He shrugged.

She moved closer to apollo, inspecting the light lure. "Like a worm? Doesn't that mean that we didn't have to go searching for them?" Dayht blinked innocently up at the male

Apollo glowed brightly as his blush. He grabbed the back of his head and smiled. "Oh, ah yeah I guess that's true. I'm not really a fisherman, so I just didn't think about it. Still, it was kinda fun." He rambled a bit as he made a second lure for Dayht.

She grinned, at last feeling a bit smart. The female took the second lure to gently heft it in a hand before looking at the pole. Frowning lightly, she slipped the pole under an arm and took the string with her now free hand. Dayht then slowly looked back up at apollo, a gentle blush kissing her features. "Um...a...apollo? I'm...confuesed...do...do you take off the hook first...and then attatch the lure, or hook the lure onto the hook?" She softly spoke, glancing down again at the string, hook and lure.

Apollo looked to Dayth with a smile. "Well, you take the hook off. The hook was for other bait and now the lure has it's own hooks. See?" He showed her his as he untied the hook and then tied on the lure. "At least I think."

Slowly she mimicked him, taking off the hook and attatching the lure instead. "Like this?" Dayht lightly frowned at the odd contraption. Fishing was...weird.

Apollo nodded. "Yep, I think so. Now let's try this again." Apollo dropped his line and lure into the water. He tried to get it a bit deeper this time, but with the short string and pole it wasn't going to go much deeper. It didn't seem to matter, this was fun anyway.

hesitantly she put her lure into the water, going still to keep from scaring the fish. "This time...I wont let it out of my sight." She focused on the lure, the look of determination on her face almost...comical

Apollo chuckled a little. "That's a good idea!" He looked to his lure as well. After a few moments he couldn't keep that up. "I feel like my eyes are going cross!"

"It takes determination! I wont be bested by a fish!....Again" In spite of herself, Dayht grinned at that. It was hard for her NOT to be light hearted. The girl almost started to call out to the fish, not that it would make them come any faster, but how would that look to apollo? xd

Spollo grinned and chuckled a little. "Let's hope! Fishy fishy in the lake won't you take my bait?" He sang, off key, to the fish. He had heard or read that somewhere.
