(( I had to go ask my mom what homeroom was XD I remember recess well. o_o everyone just kinda scrambles out to either park1 or park2, i remember everyone getting a character from teh lionking. o_o I asked if i could be nala's mother but.. they just ignored me and grabbed someone else. at the time i thought they hadn't heard me XD; Me and my friend ended up with Timon and Pumba. o_o Timon is the spiff though. ))
"I like math. 'Cuz of that whole thing where it can prove anything. It's like its the only thing on earth that is an absolute. I find it hard to belive that it is but.. eh. If you need any help with it though just ask. I don't get why a novelist would have to take math though. I guess so you can figure out how much paper you have left to write on." she chuckled a bit, saying that in a "oh how useful" tone of voice.
"Homeroom is.." she paused, "102." she gave a small mental party, getting a friend on the first day what luck. And if she had anymore luck they'd have homeroom together as well.

She shifted her book in her arm, and shrugged about the math comments. But when Kana offered help, she nodded, with something like relief on her face. She rolled her eyes with Kana's remark about counting paper. Some things don't need words to be communicated.
Alida checked her schedule as well, after a quick glance at the hall clock. She read down to where homeroom appeared and then smiled as she pointed at the numbers, which read "102" as well.
She gave Kana a thumbs up.

Kana made sure to watch the girls facial expressions. When she saw her glance at the clock it made her own eyes glance up as well.. good they still had some time.
She smiled once more at the thumbs up "All right!" she cheered a bit, causing people to stare at her. Not that she cared. She was an oddball, and proud of it. She stopped at a classroom, reading hte number and checking her schedule again "234. Heres my class. I'll see you at lunch, kay?" she waved, watching the girl's retreaiting back.. making a mental note about the odd formation on her back. It didn't look normal... but it was hard to tell if it was really anything.
She slipped into the nearly empty classroom, taking a seat and reading over her previously assigned homework before hte bell rang. Homework on the first day? geeze..

Alida noticed the people stop and look when Kana cheered, so she cheered silently a bit as well to support her. She gave a couple of the girls a look, and they hurried off, like they hadn't said anything.
She waved goodbye to Kana as she stopped at her classroom, and nodded when she mentioned lunch.
She looked down at her schedule, and was puzzling out where she needed to go to get to her next class when she saw a shadow looming in front of her. She stopped abruptly so she wouldn't run into someone and looked up.
And up.
It was a very tall guy, he looked like a senior, and he was looking at her like she was a bug. "Hey, look, a lone froshie. Where you going, froshie? To class, like a good little girl? Hah! And what's with that stupid hat? It looks like you pulled it from the dump." He made a snatch for it, and Alida pulled back suddenly, making him miss.
She pulled it off her head, and held it close to her body, trying to edge around him. She didn't know why he was picking on her, but she needed to get to class. She'd only had a couple minutes when she had looked at the clock before.
She slid around him to the other side as someone passed between them, and then took off running towards her classroom, leaving him laughing at her back where he was standing. He didn't even try to follow.
She ducked into the classroom that had the right number above it, and sat down in a seat, breathing heavily. A couple kids looked at her oddly, but she ignored them as she sat her old, patched hat on her desk and looked at it.
Does it really look that bad? I love it, but it is a little threadbare... I'll ask Kana later what she thinks... She didn't put it back on, though, instead she tucked it under her desk, in the book rack, and straightened her hair, tucking it behind her ears.
She tried to listen to the teacher, but she was uncomfortable. Her running had disturbed the placement of her wings under her clothes, and she couldn't get them straightened here... she needed to go into the girl's room. She was just glad the seat she had chosen was in the back. People wouldn't be staring at the oddly shaped lump under her clothing.
The teacher seemed to be one of the enthusiastic sort, the kind that tried to infect her students with her enthusiasm for the subject. That's some sort of boon, at least.
The teacher called roll, and Alida raised her hand at the appropriate time, and class went on as usual.

Kana sighed, shakespeare was so boring. Why that? gah. Evil teacher, giving them something so hard. Thy this and so many words jumbled together oddly.. her eyes kept scanning over the same sentance over and over. They could see the letters, put them each into a word. but as soon as she went to the next it was gone. And so.. she couldn't seemt o form the sentance. "Whyyy?!" she whined, head falling into the book with a thud.
Her head snapped up as the bell rang, quickly shutting the book and shoving it in her bag. Yay science. The teacher entered, called roll, and went into a more introductory class. Explaining who she was, what the class would teach, and so forth. And class went well, ending at the ring of a bell and a reminder that they'd be starting into the real class the next day.
She shifted out into the hall, next class.. next class... her eyes scanned over the schedule only to have it slam into her face along with the hand holding it as she bumped into someone in the hall, causing her to fall backwards.
((I did what kana did with my first shakespeare. got used to it after the first hour or so. o__o *never took composition classes until college* I did very well considering i knew nothing =D got a C in compI.. because hhte teachers changed and the second guy didn't like that i was absent for two weeks cuz i got the flu and got stuck in washington. >> he was an a**. <3 and i got an A in comp II. He was an awesome teacher but hes like "here have some shakespeare, and ohh greek novels <3"
Oh and.. whoever wants to Rp some random guy or girl you can, or i can make something up. XD ))

((vwee! OC time! ^_^ Just for a bit, though. ))
He had been making his way carefully down the hallway. He had tried to keep from running into others. Why was he so clumsy?!
He looked down at the girl who had just ran full into him as they both rounded the corner, and fell on her rear end. "I'm so sorry, that was my fault completely. Are you okay?"
He offered her his hand to get up, shifting his books to the other arm to do so... but they slipped from his grasp, and fell to the ground. He closed his eyes slowly, and sighed, deciding that they could wait. He opened his eyes, and waited for the girl to take his hand.
Alida left her math class after speaking with her teacher, and reaching a simliar agreement. She paused at the doorway with a bit of apprehension, and scanned the hallway for the boys that had bullied her earlier. She sighed with releif, they were nowhere in sight. She saw a bathroom close by, and darted inside to straighten her wings out, they had just about driven her crazy during class...
She exited the bathroom, her hat held between her books and her body, and made her way down the hallway in time to see Kana and some other guy smack into each other, knocking the girl down.
Kana! Oh, no! she thought, and hurried over with a worried expression on her face.

"No no, it was mine. I was looking at my schedule-" her eyes locked on the empty hand " Where'd it go?!" she paniced, lookig around for the little slip of paper. Without that she was lost. She completely forgot about the man's hand as she flipped to her hands and knees frantically looking for the peice of paper.
Again she was making a scene, she hadn't meant to.. And normally she was quite calm and well manored. But when she got excited about something she just.. lost it. That is if she ever had "it" in the first place.
She froze as she ran into the mans books, oh right there was someone else there wasn't there? A faint blush made it's way across her face as she piled the books up and held them out to him. "Ah. I'm so sorry.." Yep, still on the floor. It was a good place... sorta. Maybe. Not really.

He had withdrawn his hand as the girl searched frantically for something... but in the scatter of papers that had come from both their books that would be a difficult task unless he helped.
He noticed someone else approaching with a worried look. She knelt next to Kana and started to help sort out the papers, scanning them quickly and putting them into two piles.
"Uhm... hello, who are you? This isn't really your problem, you dont have to.. Okay..."
He gave up as she frowned at him, stil silent. So he knelt and started helping, pulling his papers out of the mess until he found one that wasn't his, but was definitely a schedule. "Is this it?"
He handed it to the girl, and then realized he hadn't found out her name. "Uh.. I'm Reid, sorry to meet you under such bad circumstances..."
Alida had paused in her sorting to glance at the sheet as it passed her, but then hurried to finish. This was eating their in-between bell-time...
A few seconds later, and she had two neat stacks. She leaned back, smiling at the two of them, pleased with her results.

And so they had been late. Horribly late. Tremendously, extremely five seconds late. It was one of the worst times of his life. HA. Not really. Sadly, the dragon had experienced MUCH MUCH worse than being late. It was disapointing, but he didn't let it phase him. He just wondered why he had allowed himself to slip so much as to allow himself to be late..
The young man now made his way through the halls, careful to avoid any female students or teachers that happened to wander too close to the Shi. His hands were tucked into his pockets, a few books under one arm. A sigh left the male, eyes fluttering open reluctantly, coming to land on the nearby gathering of about... Three people. One seemed somewhat familiar- green hair.. The one that had approached Ayame! Of course. He glanced towards the other two now, in a somewhat thoughtful manner... But he didn't dare go over and speak to them, he simply moved to go past them with a small noise of acknowledgement. They didn't want someone like him around, after all. Right?
He didn't get very far before he was forced to stop by a rather loud buzzing from his back pocket. His hand slipped back, and in one smooth movement he had it answered and was turned towards a wall. "Moshi moshi." His expression was unchanging as he listened to the person on the other end, giving a faint sigh soon enough. "Hai.. Is it an emergency?.... Alright then, I have time open at around..." His brows furrowed some as he went over his schedule in his mind, "Three. I can have an appointment open at three. Alright. See you after school." He then turned off his phone and tucked it back in his rear pocket...
It was ridiculous how he had to make appointments for family, but it was work. But Spiro did end up hurting himself all the time... And atleast it wasn't an emergency... Oh well. Simply let it go. He remained where he was for the moment, a binder that had been tucked away with the books pulled out, a paper already ontop of it, and a note was jotted down. What tedious work. And they had even found a way to get him at school.. Oh well. It would be selfish to care that much about how it disturbed HIS schedule... He could never be that selfish.

Alida had leaned back, perched on her knees, and she glanced about nervously, still looking for that pushy upperclassman. Instead of him, though, she saw a familiar face, one from earlier that morning.
She waved to Hatori with a cheerful smile, but he didn't seem to see her at first, instead answering a cell phone which had buzzed in his pocket as he stood several feet away.
She let Kana and Reid straighten out whose pile of things were whose, and stood up, brushing out her skirt as she did so. She crossed the few steps to Hatori, and brushed her fingers on his arm, peering up at him with that same cheerful smile, and a wave with her other hand. She'd left her books and hat back by Kana and Reid.

Kana blinked, smiling up at alida "Ah! Hey, Alida! Your class go well?" she nearly forgot about the schedule. But then it was shown to her, in which she snatched it and held it to her chest "Yes, thankyou!"
She smiled, and tucked it away in her pocket, moving to get her own pile of things, giving Alida a soft smile of thanks before she left to go talk to someone. "I'm Sohma, Kana. It's nice to meet you, even with the circumstances." She smiled, looking to Alida's books and picking them up.. along with her hat. Hm? her hat..? Thats odd. It seemed like one of those things you just wear all the time. she shrugged it off, moving to a stand "I'll catch ya later, I've gotta catch up with my friend." with that she started off back towards Alida, it wouldn't do any good to lose the girl and have her things.. "Nice meeting you!" she hollard back.
She poped up nex to Alida, investigating the new guy. After her inspection she gave the kinder a light nudge with a whispered "ohh.. he's cute, nice choice.." and a wink. Then she waited for the reaction she was going for with a coy smirk.

Reid smiled, and after picking up his books and saying goodbye, went back to carefully making his way down the hall to his class.
Alida blinked and then blushed lightly, trying to think of a way to deny it without saying that she didn't think he was cute... which he was! But she had just wanted to say thanks for helping with her schedule this morning...
Finally she decided to ignore the comment, and went for her notebook, which she snitched from Kana's hands and she wrote, Kana, this is Hatori, Hatori, this is Kana. I've seen Hatori around my apartment building, but I don't think he lives there. She looked up at him to confirm this observation, her blushes having cooled while she wrote.

The dragon's brows arched somewhat, but he did give a small nod, "Hello again.." But suddenly there was another girl, and some sort of thing going on between the two, started by a whisper of some sort.. Overall, though, he appeared completely uninterested in their little conversation, and indeed he was. Which was what seperated him from Shigure and Ayame, he supposed.. Eh? She was blushing..? Oh well... He let his notebook slip back under his arm, his gaze coming now to the paper, and then to Kana.. A small dip of his head was given, "Sohma Hatori." He felt the need to introduce himself, it was only polite.. He continued watching Alida for a moment or so as she wrote, and then he gave the slightest of nods, "Hai. I live in a house a block or so down, by the park. I do not stay in the apartments.." With lack of anything better to do, his hands slipped into his pockets.

Kana gave a slight nod, gigling softly to herself at Alida's reaction. Though it was short lived as she was now being introduced to the man. Another sohma? Its like this family covered half of the world.
"Aa! Sohma, Kana." She smiled "Even though we're related i don't think I've ever seen you before.." aa.. how odd. To be in the same family and never see a person. They must be like.. pretty distant from eacother. Like.. her aunt was his cousins cousin of the cousin to her nephew twice removed. yea. Something like that.
She glanced at her schedule once again before pocketing it. Yay science was next! It was odd, she didn't seem like the type to enjoy science.

Alida was glad the two people she knew were getting along, but she was somehow surprised to find out that they were related. She must have missed something to not put two and two together after learning their lst names.
Seeing Kana glance at her schedule, Alida took a look at her own. She ran a finger down the list, and came upon her next class. She sighed.
((Should I have it be History or should they have science together? ^_^ I wasn't sure, so i just left it there... kind of awkward, yeah, but...))
