I'd really have to describe my taste as eclectic. Bonus points to people who can PM with proof they know of some of the more obscure bands on there. (What these points are good for and how to redeem them . . . I have no idea smile )
as for my personal favorites..a perfect circle/tool, red hot chili peppers, radiohead, the shins, coldplay, mindless self indulgence, brand new, the pillows, my chemical romance, the used, the smiths, muse, aqualung, auf der maur, danny elfman, incubus, nirvana, postal service, daft punk, sarah mclachlan, the strokes, vertical horizon, lostprophets, katy rose, dashboard confessional and a few others

I donno if anyone in here listens to Japanese Pop music, but I just found this song sung by a girl named Aiko that is a cover of "Swallow Tailed Butterfly" by Chara. It is really....well...pretty. It's just her and her piano, and it sounds like it was done in a school studio or something, but it's still nice.
