Balcerzak Here's a list of some of my own favorite and rocking bands, I'm sure many of which will be unfamiliar to most of you: "Weird Al" Angra Apocalyptica Arrogant Worms Backworld Bad Religion Blackmore's Night Blind Guardian Children of Bodom The Crüxshadows DragonForce Dreamtheatre Evanescence Evergrey Galadriel Godsmack Goldfinger Grave Digger Helloween Iced Earth Iron Maiden Lacuna Coil The Levellers Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Metallica Nightwish The Offspring Opeth Queen Queensrÿche Rhapsody Rob Dougan Savatage Sonata Arctica System of a Down They Might Be Giants Trans-Siberian Orchestra Within Temptation X Japan And many others I'm leaving out cry As for a general trend, well I like metal, but I also like a lot of other things too. I'd really have to describe my taste as eclectic. Bonus points to people who can PM with proof they know of some of the more obscure bands on there. (What these points are good for and how to redeem them . . . I have no idea smile ) eh. i'm not going to PM, but my friend loves lacuna coil and we trade cds a lot. i like 'comalies', '1.19', and 'cold heritage' as for my personal favorites..a perfect circle/tool, red hot chili peppers, radiohead, the shins, coldplay, mindless self indulgence, brand new, the pillows, my chemical romance, the used, the smiths, muse, aqualung, auf der maur, danny elfman, incubus, nirvana, postal service, daft punk, sarah mclachlan, the strokes, vertical horizon, lostprophets, katy rose, dashboard confessional and a few others
[take a look at me, i'm a loser]

I donno if anyone in here listens to Japanese Pop music, but I just found this song sung by a girl named Aiko that is a cover of "Swallow Tailed Butterfly" by Chara. It is really....well...pretty. It's just her and her piano, and it sounds like it was done in a school studio or something, but it's still nice.
