My dad likes the sweeter loli clothes but looks strangely when I go out in them. My brother is like "your wearing lolita again " XD The guys at school don't care.

cloudyhead Nanie Chama Decora.Doll When I'm out most guys are just like "wtf you are in the wrong century", "it's not halloween", "Is that for Little bo peep?" (WTF DO I LOOK LIKE I'M HERDING SHEEP IN THE IS OUTFIT? XD)
Sometimes tourist like their pictures with us. Mostly it's guys, girls seem to be less open about it and more like "wtf that's not what's in style right now".
My guy friends think it's weird, but cute. They call it "alice in wonderland clothes". People call me Little Bo Peep and Alice too. I take alice as a compliment though I never did like bo peep... ----- The best ((positive)) reactions I've ever gotten to lolita was at an anime convention where it was loved and I got my picture taken by a bunch of people and once with another lolita, who was a guy ^^ m dad loves how I dress (in and out of lolita, I have many styles) and is always saying Im a litte gothic doll. I like the doll part and I dont blame my dad at all for saying gothic- he has no idea what it has become and he cant get past my black hair and "doll cut" sometimes. besides- I did wear alot of black. still do kinda. wtf it looks good on me. Lucky. My dad hates how I dress x.x He thinks of it as a costume and if I'm wearing it when he's around he makes me go change clothes and won't let me out of the house ((except to go to Church)) while wearing lolita. ((...but, he let me then leave the house wearing a tank top and a mini skirt and that he called cute... my dress was WAY more modest than the tank top and mini skirt were!))

I was pretty disappointed, and at the same time delighted to hear from my guy friends that they thought it was weird and cool at the same time.

Dude. Kinda creepy.
1. This crazy homeless guy wandering around the Wal-Mart parking lot mumbling "It's a ballerinaaaaa~~"
2. This security guard/janitor/crosswalk guy/whatever he is was manning the door on picture day and started talking, saying something along the lines of "I've been watching you this year. I like your outfits"
o.o
That was kinda scary. Please, refrain from watching me, old guy.
This idiot boy in my German class asks why I wear weird clothing. I tell him it's because I'm not a nudist. Duh.

Well my boyfriend is an obsessive freak about me wearing Lolita since he loves it, he even buys me outfits when I don't have the money to. My male friends like it since they're all into anime, the guys at cons are a little too friendly when I wear it (Someone asked me and my friend to pose for a picture and ended up taking five, in which one he made me kneel on the floor and look up at him cry ), and guys at work just say that I'm lucky I have such a great personality to over shadow my style retardness.

more than anything else people comment on how i "look like a doll" and "you're so adorable" that sort of thing =) they're all used to me dressing different, because i cannot stand how girls dress at my school, the majority all wear the same clothes only a different combination of colors... i would die. xp You get a lot of cat-calls. 3nodding depending on where you live the people around you might need to recover from a stage of "culture-shock" that may not bode well with their sense of propriety. I was lucky in the case that people loved me and thought of me as one of those previously mentioned "fashion icons" before so things didn't change after Lolita style caught my eye.

KimikO_ChaN13 (Someone asked me and my friend to pose for a picture and ended up taking five, in which one he made me kneel on the floor and look up at him cry ) As I remember reading some picture-posing advice, if something makes you uncomfortable, tell the camera-man to stop. In case it happens again.

kNOw FUTURE my friend and i are into loli and we were going to go out one night just some quick shopping at the dollar store so i was going to go out in my poofy meta dress for fun. it's a good thing i didn't (i ended up in a mini skirt and emo shirt) because we met up with some guys who would have thought i was insane! they have uber nice, fast cars and they listen to loud music and are awesomely cool... you knowwwww. :C more like my normal side, instead of my pretty girly side. i don't think they would appreciate my loliness. sweatdrop these would be very shallow guys if they couldn't accept you
