[[peanut butter xD]]
Macy was battling a new onslaught of tears, the crew had dumped him and Caspian was most likely in very deep trouble. He looked up when the doors opened, his eyes red from crying and his demeanor one of great sadness. He had a heavy coat on, one Caspian had bought him when Macy kept stealing the covers and going out at night, it managed to hide his new state well, even if it was still rather small.
"Cas....got arrested...he says everything's fine...and the crew kicked me off the ship...Jareth..." Macy's voice cracked with tears again, he really didn't want to think like that "...what if he dies?" he asked hoarsely, wiping the tears away from his eyes with the sleeve of his coat. He noticed Eidolon and it momentarily diverted him from his own breaking heart, what was that thing??

Jareth gave the Labyrinth spirit an encouraging look, silently saying that he could handle this on his own. He gently pulled the Unigon into a warm hug, for it was best that he stayed supportive even if he did want to throttle that bloody Pirate King and save whoever had caught him the trouble. It was bound to happen sooner or later, although he had a sneaking suspicion that it had already happened a number of times before. It was true his in law had a bit of a knack for getting into to trouble but on the other hand he had a talent for escaping it.

"and the baby might turn out like me...with a dead daddy.." Macy added, his voice muffled by Jareth's shoulder. He was too upset to act surprised or snarky at the moment, and he wrapped his arms around Jareth. His bag dropping to the ground beside him.
"I don't want him to die...the idiot stole my heart!! tell him I want it back!! I don't like this feeling!! I want him home, with me!!" Macy yelled, he was swaying from angry to sad repeatedly. The Unigon was aching on the inside, even if Jareth was being surprisingly supportive, he just wanted to be alone and then not alone at the same time. He was terribly confused.

((Macy's gonna get Cas in trouble! lol!))
Eidolon crept closer anyway, he knew Jareth could handle Macy, he'd seen that before, but he reached out a hand to pat the Unigon anyway, and went completely wide eyed.. That wasnt just one life there! He gave Macy a really really sad look, and patted him again. That was horrible! Poor Macy having to lok after anotherlife all alone! He started to cry himself.. totally silent tears running down his cheeks.. The labyrinth itself responded as well... as he stood there the twisted maze seemed to grow a little darker as well..
Caspian sighed... he was shackled to a wall, his hair felt horrible, he needed to wash it.. but that was honestly the last of his worried, for the.. week..? two maybe..? he had no idea if he was honest how long he had been here his mind had rarely left Macy. He knew he was going to be executed, publicly.. and it wouldnt be any fun either... that was a given really. he looked up, his eyepatch was gone, as was his hate, his coat, the glove he wore and the pendant Macy had given him.. The last one greived him the most.. His eyes were tied looking, really really tired loking...sleep was a luxury now that he wasnt accustomed to at all. "Macy.." He murmured, the beautiful green eyes closeing for a moment. "I Will get out of here.." He shifted his wrists, but the chains still held.

While Jareth's urge to kill the Pirate king had been significant, it was nothing compared to the anger he was feeling now. He held his adopted son closer, letting him cry into his shirt, but the look on his face was one that could make a person drop dead if it tried hard enough.
"Baby? What baby?" he said, sounding a little too stern at first but composed himself long enough to soften his tone.
So that Pirate had knocked up his son and was most likely going to get killed. It could be worse, he told himself sarcastically, it could be raining.

The expression on Jareths face scared the spirit a little.. and he stepped away from the pair.. this had very little to do with him anyway.. With a sad little smile at Macy.. he felt sorry for the creature after all, he moved away again, deciding it was better to leave them to their own devies..

[[xD poor Cas]]
"what are you stuck on stupid?? I'm pregnant!!" Macy answered, though his tone softened and he simply let himself lean against his "father" He sighed, his emotional exhaustion getting to him a little. How far along was he now?? he didn't know but Eidolon and Jareth's comfort was making him feel a little better.
"I think i'm about....3 months along.." he murmured softly, lifting his head to stare at Jareth demurely. He was feeling cold and he wanted to sit down, his feet hurt. "can we go inside now, my feet hurt" he said softly, realising he had most likely gone soft while on board Caspian's ship, the Pirate King had let him do as he wished and thinking about him brought a fresh bout of sorrow that squeezed his heart painfully.

Jareth gave him a pained look but nodded all the same. He couldn't rightly say no to a pregnant man, and that on it's own was weird enough, leaving out the fact that the father was a scurvy ridden pirate whom he intended to kill slowly and painfully. "Of course." he said, trying to smile but it turned out looking like a grimace. "I'll have your old room made up. It can't have been very comfortable living on that ship." He rested an arm around the Unigon's shoulders and led him up the front steps and into the castle. Maybe once Macy had rested a bit he would go into more detail about what had happened, then maybe he might be able to do something about it. However if Caspian had been captured by the elves then there was little of him being able to interfere. While the Pirate King was in the Labyrinth he could grant him protection, but once Caspian left the Goblin Kingdom he was contantly in danger of being captured and there was nothing Jareth could about it, except speak for him in the courts where he would be under oath to tell the truth. In short, Caspian was screwed.

He noted the grimace and found the strength within him to scowl darkly, he didn't like that look but he couldn't tell Jareth what to do. "it was comfortable on Cas' ship, his bed was nice and soft" Macy countered softly, he wasn't in the mood to argue anymore. He had cried all his body would let him, though he still felt painfully like crying again, he looked around the castle, it really never seemed to change.
"I don't want to rest Jareth, I won't be able to..." he murmured, changing his direction and heading for the library. He found it comfy in there, with the fire and all. He clutched his bag to him, it held a few things that Caspian had given him that he had managed to put in the bag. He cherished every one of them and he wasn't going to let them fall into the care of a Goblin. Like the little git following him kept insisting to take the bag.

Jareth scowled at the servant following them and made a point of kicking him out of the way. It was no way to treat the hired help, but he was having a very very bad day!
"Very well," he replied, swallowing his annoyance, this was no time to lose his temper. Macy was just upset, and when he was upset he got angry...just like him. The Goblin King wondered why in the seven hells had his mother chosen him as a guardian. "Maybe you could tell me what happened? Just how exactly did he get captured?"

"we were on the run from the Elven Navy, and they caught us...one of them...Cas called him Ayden I think...he grabbed me and held a knife to my throat and told Cas that if he didn't surrender he'd kill me and the crew....Cas surrendered..." Macy explained, his tone dull as he walked. He was grateful for Jareth's disposal of the servant and gave him a grateful smile.
"he's not going to come back..I know it...just like dad...it's just like that.." Macy murmured sadly, his eyes swimming with tears his body forced out. Maybe Macy was just a blessing of bad luck, nothing good ever came out of loving him it seemed...he placed a hand on his stomach, soothed by the other life inside. He knew that some male unicorns could birth children, but finding out he himself could, was a tad shocking. He had to feel better, but he couldn't. He felt awful, the worst he'd ever felt, even when he knew his mother and father were never coming back. 'Cas...I miss you..' he thought sadly, his mind continually wandered to the pirate. He hoped with all his heart he was at least still alive, he didn't want him to die.

Jareth's gaze softened slightly as the Unigon explained the circumstances of what was really a horrible situation. At least he had gone in order to protect Macy and hadn't just sailed into peril and abandoned him. Not that the Pirate was entirely forgiven but his imminent death had been reduced to sligh beating, if he ever returned...
Two weeks passed and no news of Caspian arrived to the Goblin kingdom. As expected, Jareth had not been asked to attend the trial, for fear that his status would sway the jury. In the mean time, Jareth tried to console and care for Macy, as well as giving him a proper medical examination. Finally a grubby Goblin servant arrived at his study with an unusually ornate letter clenched in his grimy paw. The King studied it briefly, dreading what had been written on the page:
Let It be known that on the first day of the fifth month, within the illustrious domain of the Elven King, the Elf Lord, Caspian Aurelius, Who at one time styled himself as the King of the Pirates has been apprehended and subsequently executed when he was captured at sea near by. The Great Captain Ayden bartered his life with him for that of his crew and he was taken with no casulties.
Caspian Aurelius was hung from the neck in the gallows in the city squar, taken down and drawn on the wrack until his body was disjointed and quatered.
He will be commited to the sea to honour the wishes of his kin.
Thus ends the Raine of the Pirate King. Let us rejoyce for our sea's are safe.
To you, Jareth, King of the goblins we return this pendant and his hat, the rest of the deceaced possessions are soon to be acounted for an will be destributed accordingly.

Caspian was definitely less than amused… definitely very much less than amused. His wrists were bloody and they hurt like no ones business, really, the damned shackles grating against the already abused skin, they were going to scar… He’d need another glove. Scars on his wrists just wouldn’t look acceptable. He sighed slightly as he heard the door being tugged open, they keys had jangled in the lock, and he sighed. Death was imminent. Any blessed with long life should fear this moment more than most… But not Caspian, no indeed, he feared nothing. Except the carved stick that Jareth had had when they were kids, but that’s another story. He was dragged to his feet a moment later, being as uncooperative as he could be, letting them hold up all of his still fairly light weight, but it was enough to be annoying to anyone trying to meet a deadline. “You’re a dean man walking Aurous.” One of the guards spat at him, and Caspian smiled cordially. “Well actually my dear fellow it appears I’m being carried just at this moment but why fuss with technicalities..?” The man growled but the smile on Caspian’s lips never faltered and the grunt instead just carried on hauling him out of the room. He was thinking of Macy, and their child… Would he truly die without getting to see him or her…? Could he forgive himself for letting Macy raise a youngster alone…? Oh God... He hoped to whatever god there was that the child wouldn’t come to see Jareth as its father… That thought was unfair though, and untrue… he wouldn’t mind, for in truth if he wasn’t there to care for his son or daughter… he hoped it was a daughter… then there was no man he would choose for the job other than Jareth himself. A set of loose shackles were clapped around his hands as he was finally forced to stand himself, and the ones around his legs were removed, dignity before death, how simply delightful! Caspian smiled again and allowed himself to be lead outside… he’d get an opening soon enough, they’d made there mistake, they thought him broken, but this cell hadn’t been so bad as some he’d found himself in before, as there was only a half dozen or so rats, he’d called the strange white one snow drop. It was a shame to leave him behind. Then the chance came, a servant opened a side door, he knew well where that one lead, to the cliff edge, the young man had obviously been disposing of something or other there, but the pirate didn’t care what. With an agile flip he was able to swing himself into the air, snatching the shackle chain from the hand of the guard and plated his feet firmly against the back of his head, sending him crashing face first into a wall, that done he was able to land and swing the chain over the second guards neck, garrotting him nicely after a few moments of pressure. Two further guards joint the melee, but after snatching a knife from one of the fallen pair they were dispatched as they had little expected Caspian to be so agile in his chains. He was too used to this. With light steps he set off down the side corridor and crashed his shoulder into the door, which, only locked with a single bolt lock swung open under the pressure. That was going to bruise. Hen he was falling, falling, falling, holding his breath and then there were the familiar icey knives of the water spearing into him, but he was safe! He was free! The swim wouldn’t be easy with his limited arm movement but the cove he wanted was just around the head land, and as soon as he was sighted he knew a jolly boat would be sent to fetch him. So a little the worse for ware, Caspian Aurelius once again returned to his ship. A man was killed that day however, the authorities, not wanting to look the fool again put the hat and eye patch on a common criminal, and he died the king of the pirates.

Macy had taken to sitting out in the garden, the weather was warm enough by now and he found the gentle rush of wind through the few trees blessing this quite beautiful haven, made him feel closer to Caspian, reminding him of the waves of the sea. He would have thought it pathetic, if he was an outsider looking in , but alas he was the one burdened with all this sorrow. He had perked up slightly, the new people on court provided some amusement, but he constantly had Caspian on his mind.
Today, the castle felt hollow and he did too. Like something decidedly unpleasant and hurtful was brewing inside. Maybe Eidolon was feeling a bit off, that always made Macy feel like he was dying and death was ever so unpleasant. He sighed, plucking at a strand of grass as he sat on the floor, there was nothing else to do.

The Goblin king stared through his study window onto the garden below, the letter still clutched in his hand as well as the hat and pendant that the servant brought him along with the letter. If he had not known of Macy's sadness then the Unigon would have seemed the epitamy of peace and tranquility, just sitting there among the late-spring flowers. But there was something about his stance that gave away his unhappiness, something that only Jareth, Hyde and possibly Caspian when he'd been alive to notice, had come to recognise. He knew that the poor boy's heart would truly break at the news, and he really didn't want to be the one to tell him, but at the same time he doubted that anyone else could. And finally his heart went out to the unborn child, his grandchild, who would never know it's father. The Goblin King gathered his strength, and made his way down the gloomy staircase of his tower and out into the gardens, the hat hanging despondantly from his fingers.
