((Sorry for my terribly long delay. I ended up in Colorado for five days and was unable to warn you all. Then I got a job, and it has molested my schedule.))
Nalla glared down at little Jaden. The boy had no manners at all. Even Nalla treated fellow rogues and royals with equal respect; equal being the operative word. She exhaled slowly, mentally preparing herself to put up with the infuriating adolescent. "I am an elf, you ignorant Mer-boy, and I suggest you learn manners lest I be tempted to ingrain them upon your skull. My life's history is none of your business, and I do not feel the slightest inclination to share it with you." She then looked up to Xia. "Thank you very much, miss."
After another breath, she turned to Irianna and her expression softened. "I am Nalla." She perused the faces of the others, feeling reluctant to meet Mia's gaze. None the less, she forced herself to do so. "However, I am not keen on your associates."
Merdick was in the midst of nodding his acknowledgement to Irianna when Nalla arrived. Habit forced him to sum her up as quickly as possible, but with Nalla's attention elsewhere, he was able to let his eyes linger awhile longer and analyze the elf with a little more thought. He almost immediately wrote her off as a rogue or thief of some sort. A vagabond, and yet the girl did have some merit: she was certainly capable of wielding the weapons she holstered, and she had manners, to boot. He didn't blame her for the lack of knowledge about who Jaden was. If his previous assumption about Nalla's lifestyle were correct, she couldn't be expected to know or even care about international politics, and much less the names of generals. Not to mention, Jaden was a foreign general.
Deciding that he might as well give a brief introduction, Merdick was about to speak. That was when yet another man arrived to join the journey. With a silent sigh, he decided to wait until the newcomer had introduced himself before speaking. No point in explaining himself twice.

is this an ok char? Gaian Username: Knightoftheblacksky
RPC Name: Aeos
Race: Sky child
Gender: male
Age: 25
Appearance: Aeos has huge white wings, determined orange eyes, always wears a white robe
Weapons: a sword that radiates silver light when released from its
Spells or Magic: Aeos has the unique ability called lightning rain when lightning literally rains from the heavens delivering enough destructive to make a city fall however he is not strong enough to focus the power in one area or make it appear far away so there is the VERY high chance of he himself getting hit (the lightning in the spell is attracted to him) so he almost never uses it. He can Also make lightning that is not from lightning rain though only in a small concentrated amount (note: even such a small amount could harm or kill a person).
Country of Allegiance: Aerasia
Background: He was born just an average sky child in an average village on Aerasia when a band of bandits came. They overwhelmed the unperpared village letting no escape no prisoners. Lives upon lives where lost in the twisting fury of this group. Eventually the bandits made it to his house though if they survived they would have wished they didn't. They where beating him when he released lightning rain for the first time; to his and their suprise. In an instance the town was flattened the bandits obliterated and he scared in so many places on his body most recoil on sight. After that day he vowed to never use the skill he named lightning rain again banashing himself from the village.
{I want to know if this is a good enough char, I think the set back on his super powerful move is good enough.}

Do not OOC in the actual RP unless the OOC has the Rp post with it. We have sub-forums for OOC. The only exceptions are the Rp owner and a mod (Not OOCing)

((fixed my character)) Gaian Username: Knightoftheblacksky
RPC Name: Aeos
Race: Sky child
Gender: male
Age: 25
Appearance: Aeos like many sky children has huge, white, lovely wings, that allow him to soar through the sky to the heavens, his usual outfit is a flowing white robe that seems to radiate in magnificence in the sunlight, orange eyes with a deep ferocity that could make a dragon take a step back maybe even flee, red hair that goes down to his shoulders, and multiple scars coving his body making him look like a man who’s seen and experienced enough fighting and chaos to last him a life time. He is also muscular.
Weapons: His weapon is the tar-a-galian a sword that radiates silver light when released from its sheath and is said to have other magical properties though Aeos don’t know what they are, much less how to master them.
Spells or Magic: Aeos has the unique ability called lightning rain, which is when lightning literally rains from the heavens delivering enough destructive might to make a city fall however he is not strong enough to focus the power in one area or make it appear far away so there is the VERY high chance of he himself getting hit (especially since the lightning in the spell is attracted to him) so he almost never uses it. He can also make lightning that is not from lightning rain though only in a small concentrated amount (note: even such a small amount could harm or kill a person. The lightning is small and concentrated as in only a few bolts exploding from his figure tips at a time.).
Country of Allegiance: Aerasia
Background: He was born as just an average sky child in an average village on Aerasia when a band of bandits came. They overwhelmed the unprepared village letting no one escape and left no prisoners. Lives upon lives where lost in the twisting fury of this group of evil scum. Eventually the bandits made it to his house though if they survived they would have wished they didn't. They were beating him, he got two black eyes a bloody nose and a couple of scars, when he released lightning rain for the first time; to his and their surprise. In an instance the town was flattened, the bandits obliterated, and he scared in so many places on his body that most recoil on sight. After that day he vowed to never use the skill he named lightning rain again banishing himself from the village. He was too ashamed to tell the rebuilding village how exactly it was destroyed. From him losing control.

Upon Nalla's remarks, Jaden stuck out his tongue and glared. Her words seemed to have little impact on him; then again, he was only a boy.
"Fine. See if I ever get the slightest inclination to share my genius battle plans with you, Miss High and Mighty."
Xia again grabbed the boy's shoulder, this time pulling him back behind her a little ways.
"Forgive him, he is but a child. A high-ranking general in the Aquanese army, but a child nonetheless. You do not need to tell us your history, Nalla, only to fight beside us."
The Sky Maiden turned her head, in sync with Jaden's, as another voice echoed from behind them. She gazed upon Jaelan, taking the measure of his staff and appearance. He seemed somewhat wind-blown and bedraggled.
"You have indeed found the Source Keeper. She is Irianna Gale."
Xia's hand waved toward her friend but kept her eyes on the young man.

"My lady!" Jaelan immediately bowed once Irianna introduced herself as the source keeper. Usually Jaelan didn't care enough about a persons title to treat them with this matter of respect, but aside from his master, he'd never met or heard of anyone so deserving of his respect as the the three beings that kept the continents from a terrible fate. Aside from this, for his plan to work, he would need to gain Irianna's favor.
As soon as he landed on the beach, he quickly went over his current situation and what he should do. He remembered the last things his master had said to him, about how he should help the source keeper, thats obviously why he was there. The only thing he could think to do would be to find the source keeper, and offer her his aid, after all, Jaelan's master must have had a reason to help the source keeper, regardless of his previous comments.
Jaelan personally believed that it would be a terrible tragedy if the Aerasian continent was to fall from the skies, crashing into the the earth and causing devastation on a massive scale to the other continents. He understood that his master had lived long enough to realize that no matter what happened, the races would somehow find a way to rebuild and eventually attain their former glory. While Jaelan strove to attain the highly advantagous cold logic of his master, he couldn't help but think of the suffering, and terrible after effects of the catastrophe. Jaelan also couldn't help but wonder what he would witness if he accompanied the source keeper, and what he could discover in the places that few humans have ever managed to tread in the past.
"My lady, I have come as a representative from the wizard and scholar Halleran. My master and I believe that in the event that you should fail, it would seriously effect us all for the worse." With this Jaelan looked around at the rest of Irianna's group, evaluating them. Looking back at Irianna, Jaelan smiled, "You will find my aid quite helpful if you allow me to accompany you, not to sound egotistical, but I was closely trained by one of the greatest, if not best wizard throughout all the continents in the world." After seeing what his master was capable of, Jaelan personally had no doubts that his master was indeed the greatest magic user in all the land. Once he had said this, Jaelan simply stared at Irianna, waiting for a reply.

Nalla couldn't help but smirk at the boy. His looks were certainly deceptive when it came to his background, but they most certainly betrayed his juvenile and prideful nature. Both qualities were constantly displayed on Jaden's face, no matter what expression he carried. Leaning down toward him with a soft smile, Nalla retorted quietly, "See if I ever have the inclination to care. War is none of my business, young General, and I prefer to keep it that way." She straightened herself again, still smiling. At the very least, she enjoyed Jaden's company. He was entertaining, and his lack of seriousness made it easier to speak with him despite an obvious age difference. He would certainly be difficult to offend, nor did Nalla wish to do so.
Again, she turned her attention to Xia. "It's quite alright. I don't mind his behavior. Like you said, he's still a child, and children are bound to act as such." Then she followed Xia's gaze to Jaelan. He was a curious character to be sure, and Nalla's intrigue was aroused. He was a magic user, and student of Halleran to boot. Who would have guessed that the crazed old man would send someone to help? Then again, it was just like the Sage (Nalla added the title reluctantly, very hesitant to attach such a grand title to a man so mentally off-kilter) Halleran to do what everyone did not expect, or, when that wasn't good enough, to do what absolutely no one had thought of. Either way, Nalla found him to be a crazed man, albeit a skillful crazed man, and she was sure others shared her views on him, despite what little information she had on the 'Sage.'

Irianna watches the group in silence, her eyes and ears taking in everything. She takes the time to assess Nalla and Jaelan further, as well as Jaden. Each bit of information she picks up is memorized and stored in the back of her mind for later use. On a long journey, knowing the personalities of your comrades can be crucial.
The young Source Keeper finally speaks up. She addresses Jaelan and Nalla first. "I'm glad the two of you have joined us this morning. Two more allies make this endeavor a little less daunting." Irianna focuses her gaze on Jaelan. "I've heard of your master Halleran. If he sent you here, then I'm sure it's for a good reason. And it's a pleasure to meet you."
Irianna turns her attention to the trees along the white beach. Both wings twitch in anticipation. "Well, now that introductions are settled, let's be on our way. Truth be told we should have been gone much earlier than this... Any objections?"

Nalla refocused on the matter at hand, spinning to face the Source Keeper. She shook her head softly. "Not here. I am ready to go whenever the group is ready." Then a certain figure caught her eye just beyond Irianna. It was the older Mer Kin. He was by far the oldest member of the group, and it made Nalla wonder just how old he really was. Of course, she wouldn't ask such a question; that would be rude. Still, she was curious as to how well he would perform, should a battle of some sort occur, and she was almost tempted into requesting a duel. However, she decided against it, reasoning that if the Mer Kin had been allowed to join this group, then he must certainly be capable.
Merdick shook his head as well. "I'm ready." He looked up to see the elf eyeing him. After a few moments of staring back, she looked away, and he once again turned his gaze toward the sea. He was risking a lot by going on this journey. His family most importantly, but also his position in society, and his lifestyle in general. Still, he couldn't let those things deter him. He had to do this. Because if he didn't... well, who would? These people would need his help, and Merdick was more than willing to put his life at risk, even though it could have dire repercussions upon his children. There was a lot riding on his shoulders at the moment...
