Sauvie Hey FS this Battle system will be in a guild of its own? That's something I'm thinking about right now. Rogue Ravel offered an empty guild, but I was thinking of buying my own (I've wanted a fresh new guild of my own for a long time). At any rate, I'd like to keep the sign up thread in the cult, this is game for culties only!

Right everyone, I've created a guild that will act as a home for the game. I'm working on sorting it out now, and then anyone who is interested can join. I will make a thread within the cult, which will act as a sign up thread. Remember, this game is for Culties only, so if anyone wants to join, they must be a member of the cult.
I need some ideas on how to work the tournaments too. Anyways, I'll let you know when I'm set.

For tournaments, I don't think the standard "tree" setup would work as well, since there is a certain amount of luck involved. You could fix that by having the players fight more than once.
Alternatively, you could possibly organise it so that every player has a chance to fight every other player: if they win, they get a point, if they lose, they get nothing. The player with the most points at the end of the tournament is the winner. In the event of a tie, the two top players could just fight each other to decide the winner.

if you havn't bought one yet... I have an empty guild that could use some publicity. I tried awhile back, but nothing ended up happening. i'm the only one who ever looks at it's emtyness, and i'm just a vice captain! crying it's so sad to see a guild with 6 subs got to waste like that crying
