RLN Whoops..voted twice...oh well. My Sega Saturn *hugs Saturn* has been modded so I can play Dead or Alive, and Vampire Saviour. The only other two games I have for it are Virtual On, which is coded to not care wether it's playing on a japanese or english Saturn, and Virtua Fighter 2. I never got around to getting my Dreamcast modded becaust they always seemed to bring over the games I wanted on that system. smile I love my Saturn, too. I don't have a modchip, though, just an ST-Key cartridge. I heard the modchips for it (all except for one) only played burnts, though. sweatdrop There is one model of the Dreamcast that is import-ready, and the other models can just use a simple boot CD. 3nodding

Yeah, I find myself wishing that there was a bilingual option on my games... I'd like to hear BOTH casts, you know? But hey, I was not very offended by the FFX cast. I thought they did a good job. I liked Tidus' voice... it seemed to fit. ^__^ If you want bad, check out the English version of Star Ocean: The Second Story. Oh, how you shall wish you were hearing nails on chalkboard rather than those horrible (and how obviously so!) voices.

Oh, how you shall wish you were hearing nails on chalkboard rather than those horrible (and how obviously so!) voices. I have the US version of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Those aren't so great, either. xd Well, as far as FFX, I thought some of the VAs had nice tones to their voices, but sounded like they hadn't done much acting work-adding the wrong tones to the wrong emotions, sometimes sounding like they were reading, etc. sweatdrop Especially Yuna..she often sounds sarcastic to me when she apologizes. Wakka's English VA is pretty good, though. Lulu's is close but sometimes a little off...

Hmm, a video game originating from japan, translated, and released in the US...
I guess the only games I have to qualify are my games by Koei (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Kessen)
I think my Armored Core Series is the same, but I'm not too sure. (I really want to play Greyhounds)
As far as I know, Dynasty Warriors in the US version allows you to hear the voices in japanese or in english. The messages are still in english though.
