In his past life... Edward had work done on his automail many a time. He knew the drill. After giving Liliana an apologetic smile, he huffed out a sigh. The small teen wiggled out of his clothes so that the mechanical appendages could be removed. He said nothing, but the slightly embarassed look spoke volumes. He was a bit uncomfortable, especially with so many prying eyes about. But he's a boy.. he's tough, he can handle it! Hmph.

As soon as his arm and leg were unclasped and removed, Edward slumped on the couch again. All he could do at this point was wait patiently, since he honestly couldn't go anywhere unless he wanted to fly. However, the mention of putting them back on caused his ears to slick back. That was going to be rough.

However, at the mention of getting the human drunk... he blinked and looked at the others with an odd expression. "Drunk? Why?" Well it was certainly valid, he didn't understand what the point in getting her drunk would be.

"Yeah, why?" Theron giggled in her arms as she looked between Myranda & Keyna, eyes wide. Then her eyes flicked to the teen Terasu. "I don't know... you're not full grown yet but if a parent says it's okay..." Trelweny laughed nervously. "What am I saying? Why should anyone be drinking?"

The kyunru & the GaiaCom exchanged glances. "Because we do not have anyone that knows how to hook metal up to his nerves. All of our healers work differently than that." fae kyun & GaiaCom shared another meaningful glance. "You have to read what Edward's body remembers and pass it on to Rikku."

Trelweny balked, backing up. "I can't do that!" Myranda's glare was firm but almost gentle. You can & you will." She insisted not quite as coldly as might be expected, taking the human's elbows in her black gloved hands & steering her forcefully to the kitchen. Ginny, Yahto, & Bellar quickly got out of their way. "But who'll watch Theron?"

"I will." "But you hate watching the little ones..." "I'll do it anyway." "An' I, lassie. An' th' laddie AearHwesta too." A blue tartaned audio with faerie wings fluttered down from the highest hammock with an almost powerful grace. He nodded a cordial greeting to those assembled & gave a deep bow. There was a look of apology as he realized there was little time for introductions. The Scottish audio had been trying to save them another meeting. "Once'n th' door's been shut, I dinnae see a reason nae te take him te the playroom where the laddie's wit' Trel-kit, th' soot an' tha' lil' kit like ye." Trelweny gave him relieved look and let him take her son from her. "Thanks, Aiden." Theron squealed with delight at getting to play with the nearly six foot tall male & Ambar barked with delight. Myranda scowled but other wise looked relieved. "Fine... I'll see to it Trel's drunk." With that they disappeared into the kitchen. "Double bochs or mudslides?" Ginny's voice could be heard asking with the jingle of the refrigerator door. "Mudslides. They hit her harder & quicker." "But..." "And no milk. It'll only slow the effect." "But..." There was the sound of snickers and then nothing but the sounds of liquids being poured & ice clinking in a glass coming from the kitchen.

Taking the child, Aiden smiled at the kitsu "Dinnae have th' time now I ken, but perhaps later I'll be making yer acquaintance. Come Theron. Ambar. Let's surprise AearHwesta, aye?" With an apologetic smile he shut the magic door, then opened it again onto a large playroom. There was a two story child sized playhouse on one side of the room with a slide coming down from the second story to the ground. There were ropes and other dangling things from the vaulted ceiling for the flying young. Bozi unhooked her candy-cane from Atae's belt to fly into the room and to a very large full scale dollhouse where it immediately lifted the hinged attic roof to get out the Christmas tree & put it in the main room of the dollhouse with a happy yip. A few other small creatures wiggled into the room, eager to play. Aiden waved & stepped inside, not thrown off balance at all as the jivvin drada pushed past with a flap of her small wings. Theron blew kisses as the door shut. "Bye-byes!"

The audio Relm smirked & knocked on the door. An odd echoing accompanied it this time that had not been there when she knocked for the Al Bhed earlier. "Rage. Zell. Blondie could use your assistance." First a fae winged talaye female wearing a scarf matching Rikku's opened the door & came through -an identical tala (except for her two-toned eyes) in an angelic sash behind her staying in the room, followed a moment later by a young pup with a black tribal design on his face coming from a different room that looked to be for working out. A punching bag hung at the tala pup's level still swung. Both talaye Then she opened the door back upon her studio. "Knock for Daddy's Girl to let you in. If you need us... you know where we'll be." fingering a small rose pendant at her neck she waved the goat Relm & blue lil'wing in ahead of her. Before the door shut, the many lights from inside reflected off the silver & diamonds of a charm bracelet on her wrist. Keyna smiled softly, sitting down to lightly lick at the softly rounding bulge at her belly while watching those that had stayed in the main living area.

Looking mightily confused, Mirage & Zell smiled at the unknown kitsu before turning to the door & knocking. "Lily? let us in?"

Eyes heavy, Liliana felt the magic as the door let their voices reach her. Tiredly she raised her paw & with a nudge of magic from her wand opened the door to let the talaye in. They took a moment to look around before bounding to the workbench as Rikku immediately started giving them things to do. In their exuberance they left the door open once more.

"I like them better when it's not so cold. So does Maree, but not much can keep her from her plants." The little rabbit looked fondly on the cit that was his charge.

Terasu groaned as he was denied a drink. Oh well, he was feeling a bit better. That is until he saw a two-limbed kitsu float overhead. "oh man." He paced his head back on the floor counting to ten. Then he peeked back up, seeing Ed focused on something. He got up slowly and followed, trying not to swoon at the same time. Once next to Ed, he plopped himself back on the floor. He peered at the wall covered with photos. He perked an ear curiously. "Who are they?"

Setsumi swashed her tails lazily, letting her mind ponder things over, barely paying attention to the white rabbit. "It's not that cold out."

Through lidded eyes Liliana wondered why her friend bothered with his coat. Of course she liked the colore of it, and coming from a family that all wore clothing except for her it was not an odd thing... she simply wondered. Her lovely crimson fur had always been enough for her. Of course once her wings grew into her body they provided extra warmth when she needed it. Perhaps Edward is cold? We do keep the house cooler than most places seem to be. Also she wandered bout her other friend as the kyunru in the main room thoughtfully shut the door on them. It had to be kept shut or anyone in other rooms could not get out when they wanted. Perhaps the one downside to the magic door.

Inside the room Rikku asked for this piece of equipment or that, obediently brought to her by Mirage or Zell. Sometimes one or the other would pipe in with an opinion which the audio Al Bhed would dutifully consider though they left the fine work to her digited paws. Once or twice they sat around a certain feature discussing the mechanics of it until they were satisfied it was being done correctly. Liliana raised one ear slightly to hear Ed's response to his brother's question. She seemed completely unphased by her friend's lack of legs.

The kirin Relm from KiriKai Temple watched the night sky kitsu curiously. "It's called Cats. Theron likes it." She lightly petted the opal egg in her lap, tapping at the cloud base with a golden nail. "Or did you mean the television itself?" After all, it had taken a while for her to get accustomed to such a thing. It was not like any of the mechanical works she knew from before.

Ginny looked up from her cooking but it was the yoshi audio that bounded happily over to the belted kitsu teen. "Hi! Hi! Yeah! C'mon in!" He bounded very fast but it looked like he was attempting to be slow. "I'm helping Ginny cook!"

There was a scoff from the GaiaCom as she held out a second drink to Trelweny who was shaking her head but already starting to smile a bit loopily from the alcohol in her system. The furry white male creature watched the incoming female with a lost look in his eyes a moment before sighing and looking away. If only there were females of my kind to be found... Turning back he smiled gallantly and offered a pure white paw to Atae "Yes... do come in." Shippou made a snort from the counter as he snuck tidbits, reminded very much of his cait before Locke settled down with his mate Aqua.

Laughing to himself, Locke shook his head and wandered outside to check on his little sister. He was a bit surprised to see a feathered female kitsu adult on the porch but nodded to her amicably before sitting down & watching Amaryllis work. Peter arched a brow at Setsumi's comment that it wsa not cold, lifting a paw up from the snow covered ground to gaze at the snow a moment before setting it back down. "So what's cold to you, then? The antarctic?"

Terasu stood on his hind legs to reach the photos. Sitting back down, he shuffled through them curiously. His brows furrowed in confusion. "But these are humans." He glanced back at Ed, pointing to the photo. "But it is you, no doubt. Who could mistake such a shorty?" He glanced at all the different faces, taking them into memory. He gaped at the photo of the blonde. "Wow, she looks like she could be your sister!" He smirked at Ed, "Or was she your giiiiirlfriend?"


Setsumi chuckled at the rabbit. "Certainly not. But this isn't too bad. since it is only snow on the ground. If there was a chilly wind too, then yes, I'd be inside right now."

Atae made her way inside the kitchen. The energetic one reminded her of Diina when she got to make cookies; that actually didn't bother her. She grinned sheepishly at the others, ears slightly back, but she refused to let her shy streak get the better of her. Not after someone else had told her she was getting better! No way. "Uh... hi... 'm Atae." She peered curiously up at the human who appeared to be suffering from the first stages of drunk. "She... reads... bodies?" Atae didn't exactly understand that.

"Ah..." Endless chuckled at the tv comment. The sound came out slightly nervously, but he seemed otherwise unafflicted as far as outward appearances went. "No, I know about the tv, we have those at our place... I meant the show. Cats?" The people did appear to be dressed up as cats. And they were singing. "Do they sing a lot in this?"

"Who are -you- calling a microshopic shrimp?!" Edward shouted back as Terasu pounced him and the two boys rolled on the floor as Ed.. who was obviously at a disadvantage, tried to fight back. "I'll turn you into a down pillow, pretty boy!" Despite having only two appendages, Ed's flaming temper seemed to make up for it in their roudy tumble.
