Discipline Currently sussing out what we want to do. He was only started in March and we are taking it slow.
What I Love About My Horse: He is far too smart for his own good but he is a quick learner and will give anything a go. I took him along to a local show (didnt compete), and he tried to copy all the other horses and strutted around the practise ring like he owned it.

What I Love About My Horse: She's not mine sadly *sniffle* sad She's such a sweetheart. She's really friendly, loves people and lots of fun to ride. And she doesn't like apples XD
I ride and spend more time with her than anybody else at the barn. The other day i went to go catch her and she laying down in her paddock, and when i called her her got up and walked over to me ^^. Poor girl had coliced the week before sad Unfortunately she's up for sale (just like all the other horses/ponies i ride) so she'll probably sell in a few months sad

Discipline: he's a therapy horse, but we do english riding there.
What I Love About My Horse: He's the funniest little guy i have EVER met. he loves to give the volunteers a hard time, but is absolutely amazing with the kids. with me, he's a pain in the butt! he loves to be naughty when i'm riding him

My nomadic lifestyle doesn't allow me to own a horse at this point, but that will change when/if I ever settle down in one place. However, this is my baby at school.

Name: Corky
Breed: Irish Sporthorse. Or something like it. He was apparently imported, but I don't know that much about him.
Gender: Gelding
Age: 13, according to his show papers
Height: I'm guess 16.3ish
Color: Dark Bay with two socks
Discipline: Dressage. He apparently used to foxhunt, but it didn't go so well for him. Now I'm teaching him how to dance, but first we need to learn how to RELAX.
What I love about my horse: That he's such a cranky butt. >.< He's completely unlike every other horse I've fallen for. I usually fall for the really lovable, really goofy, really personable ones that are mildly crazy. Corky is not friendly, doesn't like people in his stall, hates being groomed, and has anxiety attacks while being ridden. But I love him anyway. smile He's started getting more friendly toward me, and we're developing an... understanding. Most of his standoffishness comes from trust issues, I think, so we're breaking those down, and he's finally starting to trust me.
That, and when he finally relaxes and carries himself, he can be SO fancy!

About: Fire. Oh my. There's too much to say about this lovely pony. She's amazing out on the trail. Can gallop faster then any of the horses around, won't spook at anything, doesn't mind gettin' belly deep in icky water, and has the best personality anyone could hope for.
You go to a show, you always take first. If you don't, she'll put this pissy mare face on when you show her the anything-but-blue ribbon! And bathes are her favorite! Scrub her face, legs, withers. Nothing makes her happier. Fire also has the softest fur I've ever noted a horse to have. She's got her issue. (like the occaisonal n** or freak out.) But everyone that rides her falls in love!

About: What pretty girl this one is. She is so gorgeous. She has those rocking horse/thoroughbred gaits that are so much fun! And she can jump! First time we tried her over a pole, she took it like a two footer, then diverted and took a 3'6"! She loves being groomed, and love Pilgrim. She has an amusing personality, as well. A dream to ride. Flawless side passes.

About: This old boy's a handfull. He's totally spoiled! His gaits are unbelievibly smooth and loves to race. Although since he's only been handled since he was 4, he's got spunk. And he'll give you a rodeo, from time to time. But he loves attention and is quite the snuggle bug. So fun to poke around with.

About: She's spicy little one. Although she struggles with arthritis, she can dump you in a second! Nana can spin faster then any horse I've ever seen. She's a speed demon too. Once she's started, there's hardly any stopping her. She can of course be riden bareback with a halter, just a little bit of a wild ride, if you ya try! Total adrenaline rush! And she's so cute and sweet!

Just got a new project pony! Her owner bought her for her daughter; Reese is more than a bit pushy and hasn't been ridden for a while so I'm tuning her up before I leave for school in a few weeks.

Discipline: Used to do Children's Hunters with her previous owner, right now we're doing quasi-dressage to get her more supple and responsive
What I Love About My Horse: She's an absolute idiot but is certainly a learning experience. She needs constant reminders to pay attention to her rider (found making stupid noises is a great way to keep her paying attention to me)
