Saying Emo is always sad is like saying Preppy is always happy.
It's just not going to happen.
Sure, Those work in the stereotypical definitions of Emo and Preppy but stereotypes are just the opinion of the inferior.
Too be honest, A lot of 'emo' people do seem to be more sad then normal but only the ones that refer to themselves as an 'emo'. People who don't call themselves emo are people who are the 'so-called-normal'.

i thought emo meant like emotive or seomthing like that
and a lot of emo ppl aren't always sad. emo can be a style or a genre of music

I think Emos and Preppies aren't really that different (except on the style department). They too can be depressed & bitchy(Like you haven't seen a cheerleader throw a fit before). Same the other way around too. Emos are some of the most happiest people I've ever met. I think we're looking at it in the wrong way.
