Derek sat up, his hair was wet...but it would dry back the slightly wavy way he wore it. So simple and easy, just the way Derek liked his red locks.
"If life can be fun, why not make it that way?"
Why was he opening up to Jay? Derek didn't know, didn't care. He was having fun, and in the end that was all he really wanted. It's what made him roll out of bed and get dressed in the mornin. Because he could have fun.

Jay smiled and watched him still, leaning back as he let his arms hold him up by placing them a little behind him. He let his head fall back, his hair slipping to hang behind him again. If he hated normal, Jayn would love to see Derek when he was on a major roll.
"that's a very clever philosophy" he added with a chuckle, letting his head go up again as he stared at the lake, something about it drew him, pulled him in. It was so pretty.

Derek grinned over at the other guy. They had just met, and yet the red head was relaxed around him. He had only met one other person, and Kisten... well he hadn't felt relaxed around him. Rather, on his guard. Funy.
"What do you do for fun?" His feet were still soaking in the water. Fun, it was relaxing for the moment. There needed to be more fun. What to do?

"hmmm not your idea of fun really I paint, drink with friends or spend an evening inside reading a book or watching TV...I must confess i'm rather boring!" Jay answered with a slight chuckle to finish the statement, he liked the fact Derek put him at ease, it was a very good quality.
"and my guess is you like to tease people for fun??" he asked afterwards, another pleasant smile on his face as he looked at Derek. He finished wringing out the hems and sleeves of his robe, it was cooling but the heavy material only grew heavier with water-weight added.

Oli stretched fluidily, his head resting on one of the pillows he had left out on the decking. He had his arms around the kitty he had taken a instant shine to, nuzzling the others neck affectionately. He was purring still, lowly so he didn't disturb the peacefulness of the still muggy afternoon.
"Na.." he whispered softly, stroking Nana's hair back from his face. He felt a little sticky now, another shower would be in order. He grimaced, showers were icky evil things. Of coarse lying here void of any clothes but a thin sheet draped over him and Nana. It was too hot for an actual cover.

Nana had actually managed to dooze off, due to the heat and other things. He had snuggles up against Oli, head resting on the other felines chest as he mewled softly in sleep.
The purring didn't wake him, but Oli speaking his name seemed to, even though it had only been a whisper. He blinked lazily, tail curling lightly under the cover as he rubbed lightly at his eyes. He purred softly, blinking up at Oli. For a second he couldn't for the life of him remember where he was. It took a while, but he soon remembered, in much detail, just who this was and how he got here. He purred deeply, nuzzing Oli's chest. "Morning Oli..."

Oli smiled and pressed a kiss to Nana's cheek, purring a little louder now the other was awake, he was awfulyl content now, snuggling with someone he found very cute and attached to after they'd just slept together, out on the deck of his house. Wow, that did sound like fun and it was, Oli thought as he mulled over it in his head.
"it's afternoon still Na" he said in an amused tone, chuckling a little as he let his head rest on the pillow again and closed his eyes. not minding his kanzashi had slipped out of his hair and scattered around the decking, one hung loosely to a strand of his freed hair.

Nana continued to purr, snuggling closer to Oli and wrapping his arms around Oli's waist. Though then Oli told him it was still afternoon he blinked, looking around and then back up at Oli. "It is?" He blinked, confused. "... but it's so bright..." He rubbed his eyes again before snuggling back against Oli. It seemed that Nana forgot that the sun was actually up in the afternoon.

"we still have around 3 hours of daylight before the sun sets, silly Na" Oli answered, purring and running one hand absently through Nana's hair as the other moved to rest on Nana's shoulder. He was staring up at the near cloudless sky, very happy.
"you're so cute Na" he murmured softly, looking at Nana with a soft smile.

Nana blushed lightly, tail flicking back and forth under the cover. He pouted playfully, nuzzling Oli's chest with his face. "Oh, so I'm silly now, am I?" He chuckled lightly, resting his head on Oli's chest and closing his eyes. "But... what does this make us now?"

Oli watched Nana with an amused smile, he chuckled at the pout and stroked a hand down Nana's cheek.
"yes you're silly and cute ,Na" he answered softly, purring as he flicked his tail aswell, the movement being obvious by the slight move of the cover. He thought quietly about Nana's question.
"well I want you to be mine" He answered with a serious tone of voice, a smile on his face.

Nana simply blinked at him at first, wondering if he had heard the other right. "Be.... yours?" He blinked again. Could Oli really be serious? They had pratically just met and now Oli was asking Nana to be his? He suddenly found himself wanting to cry. "Oh Oli... you're so good to me..." He snuggled closer to Oli, trying not to let himself cry. "I'll be yours..."

Oli watched Nana curiously, he was certainly attracted to the other, and it was more than just physically. He wanted to be near Nana, to see him and get to know him, it wasn't love just yet, maybe it would be soon but it was defiantely stronger than 'like'.
His face broke into a delighted grin when Nana answered and he sat up, hair tousled and free falling around his shoulders as he pulled Nana close to him. Hand absently stroking the soft white hair and lips pressing kisses to his cheek.
"i'm so glad" he murmured happily, snuggling Nana in his arms.

Derek made a slight face. Painting was fun? It looked so boring. So... not fun. His bright eyes narrowed for a moment, before a grin appeared on his lips.
"Yes, I like to tease people. Though lately it's been getting harder to do so, I must be off my game." His feet moved in the water, it felt so good. Good company and great surroundings. What could be better?

Jay chuckled.
"yes I noticed, though i'm used to Oli and Ju teasing so I might be a bit harder than most to wind up" Jay answered, watching Derek's feet move. He was enjoying himself immensely, a happy smile appeared on his face as he closed his eyes. Letting the breeze wash over him.
