You know you play to much DMC when you get up infront of the class, and use Vergil and Dante as an example of Hatred and end up telling the entire story from all three games, the novels, and mangas ninja
Edit:
You know you play it when you dress in all red and black (I did this BEFORE I even knew about DMC), your twin sister dresses in green clothes that pass for a blue and wear's a coat like Vergil's, and you both fight to the death everytime you see each other. And you both get called Dante and Vergil contactly because of this.

When watching movies, you randomly insert DMC characters and imagine the rest of the movie with them in the starring roles. Either that or you make comments on how "the movie woulda been so much better if Dante or Vergil were in it".
(Seriously, I watched "The Man in the Iron Mask" and imagined Vergil as King Louis XIV and Dante as his ill-fated twin brother. Lemme say, it made the movie 1000 times better than if it was just DiCaprio playing both roles. xd )
