He tumbled, going head over feet as she tickled him, and he reached out and tried to grab hold of her.
'Gotcha!' he exclaimed, his fingers grazing her skin.

As Hikari planned, they both landed in the clean, folded clothes piled in the laundry room. She purrs a little, pulling Saffron close, kissing his cheek again. "You've caught me, but now what are you going to do with me?"

'I - erm - ' he stammered, sinking a little into the laundry. He looked into her teasing eyes, and his wings twitched, fluttered and twitched some more.

Hikari smiles a little. "Hmmm? What is it my cute beach boy?" She smiles a little, running her hand through his hair. "Or has the cat gotten your tongue?

He shook his head, even poking his tongue out to show her that he still had it.
'Umm I like you Hikari,' he said, trying to think past the soothing feeling of her fingers in his hair.

Hikari blushed a little, and snuggled close to Saffron, wispering in his ear. "I like you too Saffron" Remembering something she had seen on tv, she gave a little lick to the tip of his ear.

Saffron jumped about a mile when she did that;
'What - what - what,' he repeated.
'Why did you do that?' he squeaked.

Hikari purrs a little, and just pulls Saffron close. "Cause its supposed to feel nice. Leastwise, thats what the people who it happens to on tv say." She purrs again, eyes closed, wings folded tight at her back.

'Well it did feel nice,' he admitted. Now what was he supposed to do? She had her eyes closed and was leaning into him like she expected something back. He moved a hesitant hand, and ran his fingers through the feathers on her wings - well that was safe for now.

Hikari purrs a little, bringing her wing around to cover both of them like a blanket, cuddling close. "I'm glad I managed to snag you for myself before another, more beautiful fairy came along and clamed you."

He mutely shook his head - why was she teasing him so much? He had told he liked her. Was she merely playing with him?

Saffron went eep! silently - he did like Hikari, and thought she was very pretty but this was going a little fast for him;
