Just when people were really beginning to
worry about David Bowie, he returns! In case you haven't been following,
he hasn't made an appearance anywhere in several months, which is very
strange and has had many of the fans worrying - especially with the
January canceling of his performance at the Highline Festival.
He has reviewed a new batch of music at Nokia's MusicRecommender site.
More importantly, however, is that the German Amazon site (amazon.de)
has listed a new David Bowie album, set to release this year. Whether this
is because they know something we don't, or in response to Mojo
Magazine's rumors that 'something is afoot', I don't know. However, a new
album would fit with his reason for cancelling his performance at the
Highline due to a project.
Of course, this album could just be a rerelease, or another Best-Of, or
could be scrapped entirely, but... it's still all very exciting! This is the
biggest news we've had from him in a while.
