Ella, who had just screamed and sweated her way through labor, lay back on her hospital bed, finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Though the labor and delivery hadn't been so bad, she was still quite tired. Her hair lay in matted tendrils on her pillow, and her eyes about to close from exhaustion when she heard the doctor's voice in the room, and the sharp cry of a newborn baby.

She opened her eyes slowly to take in the sight of the baby, swaddled in a pale yellow blanket, and she smiled at the sight of him. He was beautiful. His eyes were the same color as hers, a bright emerald green. He seemed to take after his mother in many other ways as well. He had her fiery red hair, and her two sets of wings, one representing the fae side of their family, and the other representing the seraph side. She gently touched his little fingers, positively glowing at the sight of him.

"It's a boy!" the doctor exclaimed as she handed the baby to Ella. "Congratulations Mommy." She looked around to the two other women in the room and changed her mind. "Congrats to all of you!" She smiled, and continued her work, finishing Ella's stitches, and cleaning her up.

Ella just smiled. She was radiant, and Sizzla and Caro stood around, watching her meet her baby for the first time. She examined his face, and touched it gently, not wanting to hurt the tiny baby. "Well, you're certainly a surprise, my little boy..." She cooed at the baby and rocked him back and forth. After a few minutes, she passed him around the room, so each of the mothers had their turn holding him.

Ari just cooed in their arms, his eyes still shut to the light in the room.

Sizzla's Journal
Well, looks like I'm a new mommy! Ari is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen. He looks so much like his mother. I'm so amazed. He has her wings, and her hair and eyes. He's going to be a ladykiller when he grows up, that's for sure.

Seems like the doctor wasn't quite right about the baby. Our little Faye is definitely a boy, and not a girl like she said he'd be. But that's okay. I think both Caroline and I are just happy to have a child of our own. His official name is Ari Fionn Marvel-Rose. Yes, I do realize it's a bit on the long side, but Caroline and I had a hard time picking an appropriate name for him. And we certainly couldn't name him Faye either. It was just too girly. But I think we've both come to the agreement that Ari is a fitting name for him.

At this point, he's very attached to the plushie that Ella gave to him. It's a little unicorn, and he's practically glued to it. I think he likes all kinds of soft things in general. He sure does like his crib. He can sleep all day I think. Maybe it's just because he's a baby, I'm not sure. He's been quiet and a pretty happy kid. Let's just hope that continues.

Well, it's feeding time. I should get going. But I'll definitely be back later with more to talk about. It's just hard to find time when taking care of a newborn...

See ya,
Sizzla

Caroline looked out over a luscious garden filled with a rainbow of flowers. Varieties of butterflies roamed through the pathways of soil as the bees scouted for pollen. Caroline leaned her head back, her body suddenly feeling relaxed and warm from the sun that beamed onto her.

Mia sat beside her mother, her mom's arms wrapped around her hip a little. The baby tugged at the pink dress she was wearing. It had an Alice in Wonderland feel to it, and it was quite uncomfortable. However, the sight of the garden made her feel happy; How she loved her mother's manor.

Ella wasn't here today. Caroline thought she was staying at Sizzla's home with Ari for a little. But who knew? How horrible that sounded! Caroline had been so busy, she didn't even know where people were anymore.

Sizzla came walking up the lush path to the manor, wondering where in the world Caroline could be. She had Ari attached to her chest in a sling. She had found it quite a bit easier to carry the chubby baby around like that, instead of trying to keep him balanced on her hip with her arm. He gurgled happily, chewing a bit on the ear of his stuffed unicorn.

Her finger pressed down on the glowing doorbell, and she waited for someone to answer the door. Deciding that if someone didn't show up, she'd just walk on in. She had lived there for a matter of months anyway.

Ella had been staying with her in Gambino for the past month, recovering from the birth and pregnancy. She was talking about leaving soon, but she hadn't specified a date yet. Sizzla wanted to be sure that Caroline knew she'd be going, and she thought maybe they could all have one last hurrah together.

A small statured woman scurried up to the door, a fake smile was soon in place for the visitor. "Hello Misses Marvel, the Misses is in the garden with Lil Misses. Mia." She nodded, her voice soft and cracked, but it was ever so welcoming. "And hello Master Ari Fionn." Tabitha had a soft spot for babies. "Oh, please come in!" Her old cheeks became rosy with embarassment.

"Hi Tabitha! You don't need to be so formal with us! We're friends you know!" She looked down at Ari, who was reaching out for a ruffle on Tabitha's dress. "Looks like he likes you. Isn't he just adorable?" She'd been admiring her new son for days now, just amazed with every detail of his body. She never thought she'd feel so motherly, but here she was, cooing and oogling over her baby.

Sizzla stepped through the doorway, letting the door close behind her. "They're outside eh? Well, I'll go out there and see what they're up to. But first, would you like to hold him for a minute?"

The red subsided from Tabitha's cheeks, but she took a little curtsy. "Miss. Sizzla, I can never be not proper, it's my job, love." She flashed Sizzla a real smile, the corner of her lips turning up. "Hold the Master?!" Now she really smiled, she adored children. "If the misses doesn't mind."

"Oh of course not! And Miss Sizzla is definitely better than Miss Marvel. Thanks." She gave Tabitha a knowing smile, and pulled Ari up under his arms, out of the sling. Cradling him in her arms, she held him out to Tabitha.

Ari reached out for her again, giggling, a droplet of spit rolling down his cheek. Awww, aren't babies cute? He gurgled some strange baby words, and waved his hands around, wanting to be amused.

Tabitha reached her arms out with a toothy grin. She took Ari and craddled him in her arms. "Je suis dans l'amour, avec un homme de charme... un homme des esprits et de la beaut!" she said aloud, rocking Ari in her arms and poking him in the nose gently.

((Note: Our last RP was conducted on AIM, and the window was accidentally closed before I got a chance to post it. Argh!

So, Ari and Mia played for a bit. Mia threw some grass in Ari's face, and he got quite upset with her, but in the end, things turned out just fine. Caroline has decided to take Ari for the weekend, so that the kids could play together more while Sizzla works in the lab.

And now, moving on...))

Playdate: 09.13.05

Sizzla pushed open the door to the Maban Adoption Agency, balancing Ari on one hip, her face flushed with effort. It had been quite hot in Gaia recently, and the heat had made her tired. Ari, meanwhile, gurgled and smiled happily. After all, he did get a ride all the way there...

Hoping to see some familiar faces, Sizzla looked around the agency, wondering where everyone was. Usually this place was full of activity...but she hadn't been there in quite awhile, and she wondered if people were still adopting. Surely they were...

Plopping down in wooden-framed chair, Sizzla sat Ari on her lap and made cutesy faces at him, his face instantly lighting up with a smile. He reached out for her cheeks, wanting to give them a pinch. His other arm held his stuffed unicorn plushie, which looked a little battered from all the use it had been getting.

Ryuki wasn't either "parent" for this dumb thing, yet for some reason she'd agreed to bring it here. Nanaja was female, actually, but her current caretaker didn't like her near enough to bother learning her name, let alone her gender. How did you even tell with dragons?

The girl stood at 16, a bit shorter than most her age would be. Her hair was silver and left down, going past her shoulder a bit. Atop her head rested two brown-colored cat ears (with matching tail, of course). As she dragged the dragon inside, her bright brown eyes narrowed and peered around. She was hopeful someone would be here to keep this brat busy.

The black and purple dragon she drug along behind her was gnawing fiercely on the leash, hissing when she failed to rip it off. "Ssss!" The winged-baby protested, but her complaints were ignored.

Hearing strange noises from outside, Sizzla paused her funny-face-making to inspect the cause of the commotion. Ari turned to look with her, his headwings twitching slightly, as if he were trying to use them to listen.

As the door was flung open, Sizzla saw a young cat-girl and a...a dragon in the doorway of the agency. The dragon didn't look very happy to be there, let alone get dragged along by a leash, and it was fighting fiercely to get away from the girl, who wouldn't let go of the leather strap.

Ari covered his eyes, peeking out from between two fingers, curious about this new creature, yet very afraid of it at the same time. He sat back against Sizzla's chest, hoping she'd protect him from whatever it was that was making the hideous noises.

Sizzla stood up, holding Ari on her hip once again. "Hey there, looks like you could use some help...What can I do for you? That's quite a baby you've got there." She looked both of them up and down, examining them, and the relationship between them. She noticed that the girl didn't seem too patient with the dragon, and she wondered if she was it's adopted mother. "Is she, or he, yours?"

"Belongs to a friend of mine." Really she wasn't sure if Amayon qualified as a 'friend', but it sounded like the right thing to say and was probably what the stranger wanted to hear. She was thankful it was true, as saying so seemed to spare her from a lucture about parenting.

The dumb thing was a dragon. What was there to 'parent'?

"Ssss!" Nanaja hissed again, gnawing on the leash and yanking back with a fierceful tug. Perhaps if she was older, stronger, it would've had some result, but right then Ryuki out-weighed her by quite a bit.

"Very fussy dragon," admitted the teenager as she pulled the collar off and nudged the creature forward. Now that she had her freedom, the baby didn't seem nearly as worked up. Of course, it was still a bit upsetting being seperated from her twin.

Sizzla nodded, taking another look at the dragon, who had calmed down once it was released from its tether. "Aaah, okay. Yeah, it didn't seem like it liked you very much. I figured you weren't really it's mother at least..."

Feeling a bit more comfortable with the small creature now that it was calm, Sizzla set Ari down on the floor so he could inspect the dragon as well. He'd never seen such a thing, and Sizzla knew he'd be fascinated by it.

Ari reached out for the dragon with his right arm, hoping that it would want to be petted. Clutched safely in his left arm, far away from the creature (should it choose to attack), was his unicorn plushie, it's horn still damp from chewing. "Pwi-tee," he said while grinning, a blush coming over his face. "Baa!" He reached out further, hoping to get a feel of the dragon's scaley skin.

"Yeah, is it a he or a she? And does he or she have a name? I hate to call it "it" all the time," she paused, waiting for an answer, and then kept up the questions. "And how did you get suck with such a fun chore?"

Didn't like her? Of course it didn't, and she hated it that much more. Stupid...dragon thing. They were so misbehaved for everyone but Amayon, and she was the one who never did anything with them! Maybe they got dropped on their heads or something after coming out of that egg? That's what she assumed...

"Uh..." Not knowing either answer off-hand, Ryuki lifted the collar she'd removed up to her face for expection. Luckily, the silver tag still dangled from the center, the name "NANAJA" carved neatly in all capital letters. "Nanaja is her name." She at least remembered which gender went with each name.

When Ari's hand reached out, the dragon snorted and scooted away a little, hissing in a way more annoyed the threatening. Something in her eyes said something along the lines of: I'm not a pet, so don't pet me!

Still, he wasn't the only one curious. Aside from those within her household, this was the first contact she'd had with anyone. Edging back to where she had been, she carefully wrapped her tail around from the back and held it out to the baby.

"Aaah, a lovely name for a lovely dragon." She nodded to the creature, and then extended a hand to the cat-girl. "I'm Elysia. You can call me Sizzla though if you'd like. It's easier to remember I think. What's your name?" She turned from the girl just briefly to check on Ari, who was still red with delight over his new dragon "friend". She just wanted to be sure that the dragon wouldn't eat him up in one bite, though she doubted that would happen. Nanaja seemed more well-behaved than that at least.

Upon hearing (and feeling) the dragon's snort, Ari shyed away from the creature, afraid that it might hurt him. He had only wanted to be friends, and now she was snorting at him? Maybe she didn't like the petting, he thought, finding it strange. Everyone else he'd wanted to touch agreed willingly. And they were all soft and fuzzy, two of his favorite traits. But this creature didn't seem soft or fuzzy. Just scaley and slick.

He watched as the dragon pulled it's tail around to the side, extending it out to him in an almost-greeting. Slowly, as not to scare her, Ari reached out with a finger, looking up into the dragon's eyes for permission.

"Uh, I think she's named after something." Some other dragon Amayon had known, wasn't it? She couldn't remember who the thing had belonged to. Deciding it didn't really matter, she took the others hand and shook it oddly before offering her own name, "Ryuki is my name." With the exception of her ability to handle children and her feeling towards males, the teenager was a polite one.

-----

Indeed, Nanaja had no plans to eat anyone. It was seriously doubtful her tiny teeth could manage it even if she wanted to. No one was sure how much bigger she'd get, or if she'd ever be able to speak somehow like the other 'adopted' children here could, but everyone would learn in good time.

An odd sort of squeak emerged from her, seemingly to give the baby permission to touch her tail. If she offered one of her feet to him she'd probably fall over, but her tail was much easier to manuver.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Ryuki. Are you here often? This place seems like a graveyard compared to how it used to be. There were always people coming in and out last time we were here. But I suppose that was a few months ago. Maybe things have cooled off." She paused to watch the baby and the dragon baby interact, and smiled at the unlikely pair. "Looks like they might be learning how to trust one another. "Do you live with Nanaja's parents?" she asked the cat girl, still wondering how she came to be the babysitter.

Ari heard the small squeaking sound from the dragon's throat, and saw it as a welcome. He reached out again slowly, keeping direct eye contact with the dragon as he put his fingers on her tail. Slowly, he stroked it, feeling the scales under his fingertips. Once he got a good idea of what Nanaja's skin was like, his mouth formed an O, and the noise that came from his mouth was one of wonderment. He'd never felt anything quite like Nanaja. "Fwee!" he squealed with delight, clapping his hands together joyfully. This was new and fun for him, as he was used to feathers and stuffed toys. "Naja!" he said, pointing at the dragon, trying to say her name.

Sizzla smiled down at Ari, who seemed to be having a great time with the dragon. "Well, it looks like we're making friends..."

"Uh...yeah." Again, that wasn't a completely true answer. Even though that Maturin guy qualified as a 'father' figure, and Amayon was clearly the 'mother' one, they weren't a couple and most of the time the first mentioned seemed more like a butler than anything...

The situation was an odd one, and she didn't really feel like getting into all that. "She's got a brother, too. Uh...Oboro, I think. They both came from the same egg. Their, er, mom wanted to seperate them for a little bit though. Says it's not good for them to only interact with each other." And, alright, so it had been Mat's suggestion, but she hated that guy and refused to give him credit for it (or anything).

They said 'curiousity killed the cat', but Ryuki always felt that a stupid saying. Besides, this 'Sizzla' was friendly enough, and she knew plenty about her after all those questions. "What about you? This is your kid?"

-----

"Oweee!" It was an odd squeak, and far from fierce like one might expect a dragon to be. Perhaps when she was older she could...roar or something, but aside from the occassional hiss it was the only noise she could offer for now. flapping her wings absently as she did so.

"Well, it's nice of you to take care of Nanaja...Though I'd think they'd be happier being around each other, but hey, at least now she's getting some interaction with others. Maybe she'll learn how to deal with humans, or well, something at least resembeling a human."

Sizzla glanced down at Ari, who seemed to be having the time of his life with his new dragon friend. "Well, I'm from Gambino, and I've got a whole gaggle of kids, not to mention some little creatures of my own creation," she paused, pointing down at Ari. "And he's my little prince," she smiled, thinking about the adoption. "Well, my good friend Caroline and I adopted him from a lovely young woman named Ella. She was half-fae, half-seraph and it seems that his father was as well, since he did get both sets of wings, just like his mother. His name is Ari Fionn, and he's been the most pleasant kid I've raised so far. But he's still only a baby, so I guess we'll see in the years to come."

Ari just listened in awe to the sounds coming out of the dragon, and he clapped his hands with every squeak, trying to encourage her to be more vocal of course. He giggled with delight, pleased that she was happy to play along. He watched her wings, and pointed to them, then grabbing one of his own feathery wings, he squealed hoping she'd notice their similarities.

Ryuki raised an eyebrow. "Right." She'd just 'forget' to mention she didn't really care if either of the stupid leash-gnawers were happy or not. All she wanted was for them to be quiet, that was plenty enough for her. "Nanaja's very curious about humans." Because just human people seemed so rare around this place. Where all of them had come from they were everywhere!

"Oh, so you're from here then." From Gaia, that was. Ryuki seemed interested, but at the same time would casual glance toward Nanaja every now and then. Last thing she needed was for the stupid rat to go haywire and bite a baby. THEN she'd be in some real trouble. "Yeah, he's...cute. If you don't mind me asking, why didn't his mom just keep him?" If the kid was so 'pleasant', why not? Adoption was still a lost concept on her.

----

The dragons eyes narrowed on the wings suspiciously, as if she thought they weren't real. It was a few seconds before she seemed to decide they were, and offered her approval with a more happy-sounding squeak. Her brother had wings more like that, hers were supposedly 'demonic'.

Sizzla nodded, her fairy wings moving with her. She wasn't quite human herself, but she was half human. And Ari wasn't human at all, though he almost looked it.

"Yeah, I'm from here, I guess you could say...I'm not quite sure how I got here in the first place though. I mean, I did live on Earth at some point in the past, though it may have just been in a past life. I've pretty much relived my life on Earth here, with a few exceptions...Of course, I've got a lot more kids this time around." She laughed to herself, thinking about how true this was. On Earth, she wasn't the most kid-friendly person, and now in Gaia, she was taking them on left and right! It was strange to live an entirely separate life, but slowly she was getting used to it. "I just woke up here one day, and that was that..."

Most people didn't have much recollection of coming to Gaia, it was just known that they were there...at least for now. "Are you from here too? Or did you come from elsewhere?"

She paused at Ryuki's quesion, thinking about how to answer. "Well, I think Ella, Ari's mother, was afraid to do it alone. She had been very attached to his father, and I'm not sure she could, or wanted to, raise a child without him. She comes back to visit every now and then, but these days, I don't really know what she's up to. It's kind of sad in a way, but I'm glad I could be of help to her. And Caroline is half-fae, half-seraph as well, so I think she may understand a bit more than I do." Stopping to glance at Ari to make sure he was okay, she continued.

"So why did the twin's mother decide to give them up? Do you know?" She stopped, knowing that the girl may not know the situation surrounding the adoption. It was worth a shot anyway.

Ari flapped his wings more, his headwings twitching along as well. He was glad to see another creature with wings, and found solace in it. Maybe they could be friends. The fae wings glittered in the sunlight streaming in from the window, and Ari looked up at the dragon as rainbows played across its skin. "Phwee!" squealed Ari, pointing at the rainbow colors dotting Nanaja's scales. He hoped that she'd notice too.

"Oh, uh, yeah. I'm from Vana'diel. More spefically, Bastok." It was true, Ryuki didn't know how she got to Gaia as far as what direction to take to get from there to here, but she did know WHY she was in Gaia. Because Amayon said she needed to be. "It's, uh, a lot different from here. For one, there isn't such a...wide-range of races, just a couple, and in Bastok most of them are regular humans."

"I'm a Mithra," she explained, to clear up any misconception she was one of these 'cat demon' things she kept hearing about. "So is Nanaja's, uh, mother. Her father is from Bastok as well, he's just human."

To the explanation of Ari's absent birth mother, she listened more closer than ever, nodding her head occassionaly, her ears wildly twitching. How interesting, this place. "Ah, I see." For now, she decided against prodding that subject any further.

"Nanaja's birth parents? Nobody knows 'em, I was told. This place gave them the egg, and that's it."

----

The creature merely titled her had at first, oblvious as to what had the baby so worked up. When she finally took notice of the rainbow colors, they didn't seem to effect her much anyway. He seemed excited about them, though, so they must be a good thing. "Owee!"

Vana'diel? Bastok? These were places Sizzla hadn't ever heard of before. They sure sounded interesting though. She was always interested to hear about the places others had been before they came to Gaia. She couldn't quite remember her own past, but she knew she hadn't lived on Gaia her whole life. She had a family out there...somewhere.

"Wow, where is Vana'diel? And is Bastok a town? What's it like there? Is the terrain or atmosphere any different. I'm always fascinated to hear about new and exciting places. And you saying you're a Mithra," she said, pointing toward Ryuki's ears and tail, "That means you've got the extra parts, right? Do you have any other special powers?" She herself had some interesting powers. Though her fairy wings didn't allow her to fly, she had some telepathic powers that were getting stronger as her days in Gaia wore on.

Noticing her interest in Ella, Sizzla continued on about her just a little bit longer. "Well, Ella would have made a great mother I think. But she was young, and probably wanted to live without the burden of a child. She does come to see Ari often though, and I hope that she continues to do so. I'd like him to know his birth mother at least." Pondering the idea of getting an egg, Sizzla giggled a bit. "Well, I'm sure that was a strange thing to take home with them...Did you see it hatch?"

Ari was pleased that the dragon seemed to like the rainbows. He clapped his hands in amusement, and crawled closer to the dragon, curious what it looked like close up. He tried to move slowly so that he didn't anger her. He just wanted to be friends. Eyes growing wide, he took in the sight of her, in awe of her large size compared to him.

Phone Call.
“Ommy...ew!” Ari said with joy as the sound of his second mommy's voice went through the phone.

“Hey honey, I miss you so much! Mia does too! Would you like to say hi to Mia?” Caroline grinned, she knew he couldn't see it; but the sound of little Ari Fionn's voice made her so happy. Her eyes glanced down at the tugging Mia, wanting to say Hi to the brother she hardly remembered.

“Hi ommy!” He repeated with a small giggle. “M-ia!!”Ari replied in a loud tone, rather happy.

Caroline put the phone to Mia's ear and whispered to her, 'say hi Ari.' She nodded to Mia inching her to say hi.

Mia opened her mouth, pausing to let the words out. “Say HI Ari!” A tiny chuckle escaped her lips.

Caroline rolled her eyes and gently took the phone away from her. “I can't wait to see you hun, I saw your picture! You grew up so much...” Tears started to form in her eyes, and she drew Mia closer to her. She wanted to be a bigger part of his life, she hadn't always been there for him.; with the exception of a few visits. “I-i miss you Ari.” A tear rolled down her cheek and landed on Mia's arm. Caroline never cried, never; but she truly missed her son.

Ari giggled some more, his laughs like music to Caroline's ears. “I sa hi mia!” He became quiet for a moment, a bit confused. “Miss ommy!”

Mia looked up at Caroline, confused as well; plus a bit angered that she didn't have enough time to speak to this Ari.

“Well Ari, i'll see you when I can. Ok?” A small smile cleared the rain and Caroline made little kissy noises. “Muah aw!” Just what a desperate grandma would do.

Ari nodded, he didn't realize Caroilne couldn't see him. “ye ommy! ye Mia!” He tried his best to do little kissy noises like Caroline. “Zuah mw!” It didn't quite work out.

Mia narrowed her eyes, why was she giving this boy more attention then her!?

Caroline put down the phone and scooped Mia into her lap. "I love you babe, and I love Ari too...I don't see Ari everyday." She kissed her head and rested her cheek on mia's soft white tresses. Her mother senses knew Mia was some what envious.

Mia softened up and giggled. "Ari bro-tha ew!"

Sizzla couldn't help but awe over her son. He was getting so big so fast...It was as if one day he was just an infant, helpless and innocent, and the next day, a rowdy toddler. Things were moving quickly, and Sizzla had been considering some changes in her life, but she wasn't sure if Ari was ready to make them.

He had learned to speak not too long ago, and was content to babble to himself and his unicorn plushie, making all kinds of strange noises that would sometimes become real words. Sizzla was overjoyed when he said his first word, which was "mommy", of course. She'd been trying to get him to say it since he had started to make coherent noises, and the day he'd finally gotten it to come out right, Sizzla squealed like a little girl, pleased with Ari's brilliance.

Though he was almost a toddler at the time, Sizzla hadn't really dealt with a more humanoid child. Her other kids were far more intelligent than normal humans, and they all had special powers that developed quite early. Ari was a bit more like a normal kid, and Sizzla was happy with that. She was ready to live a more quiet life with Ari, now that many of her other charges were old enough to be on their own.

Koniro was always busy haunting the sushi bar in Aekea, while Procyon lived in her own little world. Kappa stayed with Sizzla a lot of the time, but as of late, he'd taken a keen interest in staying at the GoGo mansion. Sizzla suspected that he wanted to be closer to Ici, and could only assume that once they both became adults, they'd move in together and have little GoGo children. Labbie on the other had, stuck to Sizzla like glue. She'd barely leave her shoulder, her wisps always holding on for dear life. Sizzla couldn't help but wonder about the wisp's motivations, but it seemed happy to be bonded to her, so she tried to push her suspicions away.

He was still crawling when he learned to speak, and though he shuffled around for awhile after that, he was soon pulling himself up to his feet, with help from the coffeetable of course. Sizzla was always sure that he'd hurt himself, so she strapped styrofoam to the table, hoping he wouldn't bump his head on the table's corners or hard edges.

Ari had become a clumsy kid after learning how to walk, and this bit of prevention did little to keep him safe. He was always bumping into things, setting antique vases jiggling. Sizzla was temped to follow him around everywhere he went, so that she could prevent as many ouchies and breakages as possible. If he managed to break something, he'd give Sizzla the "I'm-so-cute-don't-be-mad-at-me-puppy-dog" face. And unfortunately, being the not-so-strict parent that she was, she could only smile at him and forgive him, even if it meant letting go of her now broken 60 year-old vase. He was just too persuasive.

If she had to wrap the entire place in bubble wrap, she would. She didn't want to see her baby get hurt, though bumps and bruises were already very common. Oh well, she thought. Boys will be boys...

User ImageName: Elysia Elara "Sizzla" Marvel

Age: 24! So, so old!

Race: 1/2 Human, 1/2 Fae

Occupation: Mad scientist/publisher/editor/graphic designer

Appearance: Elysia is of medium height and build, with long, silver hair and striking blue eyes. Her hair used to be tied into dreadlocks, but after a year of time in Gaia, she's finally decided to give them up. She's nearsighted, and usually wears contacts, but she'll wear her glasses on some occasions. When you look at her wardrobe, one word comes to mind: comfort. She loves her hoodies and pajama pants, and dislikes anything stuffy or buttoned to the top.

Distinguishing features: Elysia has light blue fairy wings on her back, from her 1/2 fae roots. She also has a purple and black swirl tattoo on her shoulder that is surprisingly similar to the tattoos on Rhea's back. Perhaps these two were meant to find each other??

Personality: In Gaia, Sizzla is an entrepreneur of sorts, helping to start up a new Gaian magazine...But that's only her day job, and well, it's just not that exciting. She has also become a mad scientist of sorts, working at a secret lab in the forests behind her beachhouse in Gambino. She's been a major player in creating a new species of The Furies, children of Chaos, and is now finding good homes for her 'children'.

She also has some other talents that she's not very open about, and only uses for personal means. She has some psychic ability, and can use telepathy with anyone. She can also predict some future events, but most of the time, she tries to ignore her power, convincing herself that her predictions are all coincidences.

She's generally happy and outgoing, trying to make sure that everyone she knows is happy. In this sense, she's quite altruistic. Events throughout Elysia's life have led her to have an open mind about most all things, and she has examined her life at many points, wanting to make sure that she's never doing something that makes her unhappy. Though she may be a little on the emotional side, (she's a Scorpio) she's smart and a good communicator.

Likes: purples, blues, sparkly things, music, driving, spring and fall, the smell of chlorine...

Dislikes: People who laugh innappropriately, snorting laughs, bad drivers, humidity.

Hobbies: Photography, music...listening to it that is, reading books, designing graphics

Favorite People: Lil Buddha, Eroy, Xanil, Suiyuko, Caroline, Lu

History: Elysia woke up on Gambino Beach almost three years ago, not remembering anything that had happened before. Though coping with the amnesia was difficult to overcome, she has relished her new life on Gaia, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Abilities: See above
