So, there was a horse tied by a five-foot-long rope. There was a trough of water eight feet away from the horse. Somehow, the horse was able to get to the trough for a drink. How is that possible?

I have a few riddles...that come from different sites!
1.Who can manage to get soaked, then dried with a little pressure?
2.Two mothers and two daughters bought one cat each and kept the cat they bought, but only 3 cats were bought. How is this possible?
3.The 22nd and 24th Presidents have the same mother and the same father, but aren't brothers. How is this possible?
4.A cowboy rode to an inn on Friday stayed two nights and left on Friday. How could that be?
