Tolly shifted and walked up to the sentry. "Do not salute me, and my name is tolly not sir. I have only title because i refuse to be beaten, but i don't impose it on others." Tolly looked at the Wyverns, they did look rather different from the old school wyverns he first met long ago.

"Its a sign of respect, Lord Toleranth, please follow me." The Sentry motioned Toleranth to follow him. "Besides, it has been ordered by General Shiro. Anyways. Your children are quite safe, and our healer has done the best she can for their wounds. They made quite the escape, but unfortunately, if we had not intervened, you wouldn't have your children. But, let's not think upon that, shall we?"

Tolly shook his head following; "I'll repay the favor to King Auren of Tier when i have Queen Alhana safely outta the reaches of Loas's henchmen. As to their safety I am in your debt greatly, and to repay that somewhat you'll find in the north of domachi at the sea edge a small grouping of islands just off the coast of the dragon plateau. Hidden on these islands is a store of supplies for battle. The food stored there might not be any good now, but the medicinal stuff will last a good while yet. Since your patorls have free reign over this area getting to it should not be a problem."

Hiyru turned his head quickly; "He's here, that scent is unmistakenly father, but how can he be alive. we watched him buried in the traditional fashion."

Yumiru growled out; "Some men are too stubborn to die, and hopefully he knows where mother is."

The sentry shrugged. "Since... our rebirth, none of us have gotten sick, some of the wounds that we've taken, they don't become infected, and they heal much quicker then what is natural. I would say use those supplies yourself."

The Wyvern Flight leader approached the sentry. "Hail, Lord Toleranth." She saluted him as well. "We've got trouble. I'd say around a Teir Militia battalion coming up this way. Somebody knows that something's valuable up here, and they intend to come and get it."

"Dammit. Can the children be moved?"

The healer emerged from the tent with the children. "I don't know. Maybe a short ride on a gentle day I'd let them do it, but not a hard ride to clear out of here. Its your choice, Lord Toleranth."

Tolly glanced towards the tent is children were in and then back the group. "I can patch them up for a hard ride, but if a battalion is approaching then more then likely they have others on the move ahead to watch for areial movement. So any wings piercing the monlight will be a dead give away unless they head their direction. It not to say they don't have a few flying demons of their own."

Tolly thought harder then took from a pocket a clear crystal; "However there is the possiblity they will march up here and only find only you chaps. However this will let Loas know, as well as half a thousand other mages and such that from this point someone opened a dimensional gate. Even then that is rather short and it buys only les then a minute at 100 leauges per half minute in any direction so we get 200 leauges at best. However when you combine the two the patching and the gateway you get 300 leauges." Tolly put his hands out flat in front of him and spread them to the side and a semi transparent map formed of vapor. That can put us in the middle of nowhere just past the mountians in the north of esperanza. From there I can do further healing and get them ready for the long trip back to headquaters.

Your welcome to join us as far as you think your able to without running the risk of your cover being tossed.

So here is my plan once again. I'll patch them up for a single 100 league rough flight, but the inital journey will be by dimenisonal gate which is only good for a minute. The target destination is just past the mountains to the north of Esperanza. Any suggestions or input that I have overlooked?"

"Yeah, you'll shatter our cover. Laos would correlate our patrol position with the magic and the stupid b*****d will know something's up. Then questions will be asked, and that'll be that. On the other hand... Patch your children up... Vanessa."

"Yessir."

"Go find a destroyed village. Recently, there should be one around here. Was hit a few days ago. Go find some volunteers and bring them back."

"Yessir!"

"Here's another plan. Do you know any invisibility spells, stuff like that? We'll say we found these two kids, they owned a lot of demons, we killed them and fed them to the Wyverns. If the demons buy it, and with our... 'volunteers' the story will look plausible. I don't like disturbing the dead, but I'm sure they won't mind if we use their bodies to save some lives. Our inherent magic will mask anything you cast that's fairly low level. You patch them and blanket them with the invisibility spells, then run from here, cover your tracks with something that'll prevent the kids and your scent from getting round. We'll take their clothes and bandages. It'll help us with the scent portion of things. Kaylan, torch the tent when they leave, Its really their chance to get out of here. Also, do not head back to the Resistance Headquarters. Go to Inthe Castle. We liberated it about a week ago.

"Invisiblity is something I do well at, and I'll be inside patching up my children. When your ready for invisiblity let me know because there is a little hitch on the timing of it that has to be right."

Tolly dismissed the vapor map and stepped into the tent where his children sat against the wall of the tent trying to listen to what was being said.

"Curious you two are, but we haven't much time to talk yet. However Hiyru your injuries are the lightest by far so i'll start with you. Come sit by the light so I can work. Hiyru didn't ask questions and did what he was told. Tolly went to work on the broken bones first and worked his way out to the scrapes and deep lacerations.

Yumiru moved over curious now and asked a question anyways. "How can you be alive when we buried you in the traditional fashion?" Tolly ignored her for awhile before answering as he switched locations on Hiyru. "Time Syndrome is a step in evolution that we as a species are on the verge of. It's symptoms although damming for the physical body are a preperation for the soul to be released into a much more stable form. The shape your seeing now is shell used to house and shiled a larger quanitiy of energy."

"Is mom still alive and do you know where she is!?" Yumiru blurted it out while tolly was mid explanation, he stopped and noted the expression on his daughters face. "I can feel she is alive, I could locate her, but in doing so give away her position as well as our current postion. Both of which would result in our dying, and you shouldn't worry so much about your mother yumiru. She was out foxing demons long before I met her, and she won't quit living so long as she knows there is a chance i'm still alive."

Tolly finished and waived Yumiru over as Hiyru got up and moved his limbs around to notice they worked somewhat better, but there was still allot of pain left in them from bruising. Yumiru was a piece of work, and for that he had to sedate her slightly. He was impressed at the level of care they got for being field medicine only, the infirmary would be only necessary to check for infections and hard to find damage internally. Other then that the field medic was outstanding and Tolly would half to compliment her work when he got the chance.

"Lord Toleranth? We're ready when you are. Vanessa returned with the 'volunteers'." The sounds of the Riders were in the background, making as if they had hunted down and killed the children. "You have one half hour, I'd say. Now get moving!" One of the Wyvern Riders said from outside the tent.

Tolly drew a symbol on Yumiru's forehead and she faded from sight and smell leaving Hiyru speechless. "How did you..." Tolly did the same to himself and picked Yumiru up, and Hiyru looked around but all he could smell was the wyverns and the riders outside which was freaking him out slightly as he kept turning around trying to see any sign of his father or sister moving about in the room.

"There are things your too young to understand right now Hiyru, but with time and much learning you will come to understand how and why." Hiyru froze hearing the words whispered into his ear as he felt the finger write the symbol on his forehead. As he vanished from sight he begant o see his father and sister now, but everything was now black n white. Tolly stood back up and carried his daughter out of the tent, and Hiyru followed without a word knowing why things were progressing as they were.

Tolly stood behind the commander; "We are leaving now, I wish you luck and thanks for your help, pass this onto Auren next time you see him. He'll be able to translate it." Tolly slipped the small folded paper into the belt of the commander and walked out of the camp heading in the direction of Inthe castle. The sudden gust of wind that swept back throught he camp was undoublty caused by wings, the sound of which was unheard.

"No garuntees." The commander said quietly. "Alright people, lets set our plan into motion..."

The battalion commander marched his party right up to and around the camp surrounding the wyverns and their riders from a safe yet easily traversible distance. in the dawning hours of first light(the rest took place during the night i do believe) the commander entered the camp totally ignoring the sentry all together.

"I have come up here on some testimony taken from a guard that was protecting Lord Toleranth's children. Before we allowed him to die we extracted that he sent them to the forest at Tique, but units in the area have reported seeing no one fitting their description there. However intresting enough a patrol was recently atttacked and slaughtered near Kesshi. That is in this units operating area and sure enough their scent was traced to the trees there.

I want to know how their scent is there, along with yours, and the signs of heavy battle over the entire area. So I assumed they are with you and I have orders to take them to Loas immediately." The commander was ingorning the dead around the camp at the moment and didn't so much as look at them, but kept his eyes on the riders and a closer eye on their expressions looking for anything that might be assumed as lying.

(hopefully that works, once you break the ice I can get a better post up)

The Wing commander stood up, turned and faced the commander. "Problem with that. We've already killed them an' fed them to the wyverns. And no. We did not receive any orders to the contrary from our commander." She said with a dead pan face, as if the two lives in question were nothing but rodents.

"So, sorry to say, but you're on your own."

"I see, so he must have been out when the orders were given, or completely ignored the master's wishes for them to be taken alive. Although your choice of campsites is rather odd and the smell of freshly burnt canvas means something was covered up." The commander reached over and took something from a bag he carried and unfolded it handing it down to the Wing Commander. "This symbol was etched into the ground of a campsite a patrolling legion uses, all that were there were killed, and their is evidence of wyvern tracks there. So explain how a symbol of the resistance is doing way up there, and why there were wyvern tracks about the camp where close to 200 of my comrades died."

The Flight leader laughed. "The Resistance has a long reach. They have very powerful spellcasters. I wouldn't be surprised if more camps are being picked off. The reason why we're camped here is to avoid the problems you're having. We saw some fires, went to take a look, and prowled around a bit, looking around for who did it. What are we supposed to do? Sit like statues? Yeah right. It explains why Laos chose General Shiro to bring back, and General Shiro brought us back from the dead. Simply put, we're elite and we know better then to screw around with battlegrounds when we're looking around for what happened."

The Flight Leader stretched. "As for the canvas. The children were learning magic, and they thought they could create a distraction by setting a tent on fire."

"So you interogated them before you killed them?"

A demon riding a large humped back boar came speeding into the camp and saluted the commander and spat out his message.

"They've been spotted, heading south by southwest towards Inthe, the vice commader in charge there reports a single large dragon with what appears to be passengers passing in and out of clouds. We are pursuing attempting confrimation of identitiy."

The commander smiled and turned his mount around. "Let's move out, we'll attempt to capture it alive and interogate it." He moved out in the direction the scout came from and the rest of the battalion began to move"
