I love Jacob!
It's so depressing that he doesn't get Bella, even thought I think Edward is right for her.
He's an amazing character who always get the bad sides of the situation. : (

i totally loved him untill the very end, i mean, he's great, but when he and edward are in the same picture, it's not even close to a competition

I've liked Jacob from the beginning. Even now, I can't really bring myself to hate him. I mean, I was a little angry about what he was saying about the Cullens. Edward is my favourite, so why wouldn't I be angry? but still, I like Jacob. We'll just have to see hoe Eclipse turns out. He may change for the better, but he can also get worse.

No, he really didn't tick me off in New Moon.
It's been a few months since I've read New Moon, so I don't really understand the big deal.
I remember he did some stuff that probably would've made me dislike him quite a bit, but they really didn't.
And
I honestly didn't really like Jacob at first.
But I came to love him.
He doesn't come close to Edward though.

Love. Jacob's one of my favorite characters XDD.
I don't see anything wrong with following your feelings for someone. Bella loves Edward, and yet, Edward left her. From Jake's point of view, I wouldn't complain that he tried to pull Bell and Edward apart... He doesn't KNOW that Edward loved Bella. He thought he just left her, abandoned her. Even Bella thought so from time to time that he left her because he didn't love her.
Jacob was there for Bella when no one else was. Bella needed him, (as a friend.) He SAVED her...
And yet in the end.... *sigh* I think he deserves better.

at the begining i just thought that Jacob was boring.
and then in New Moon he's all mean to Alice AND Edward. Personally i don't think being rude to Vampires is a good idea Wolfie.
And i just am not a fan of Werewolves soooooo.... stare
I don't like Jacob. mad

He was to say the least, frustrating. stressed But I like him, he's a good character, he adds tension. He keeps people on their toes, love him or hate him, you have got to admit, you couldn't stop reading.

I like Jacob! He was so independant, but so good to Bella. If I had a freind like him, or rather, if I put myself in Bella's place, I would mever want us not to be friends. Jaboc was just so kind-hearted. I cant hate him.

I can see why people wouldn't like Jacob. But, I think if Stephenie loves him then there must be a pretty darn good reason... plus we don't know everything yet, so we can't really judge.
I don't think that Jacob could ever 'steal' Bella away from Edward. I mean if you look at the story, it just wouldn't make sense. Bella loves Edward too much and we've spent too much time with Edward so that ending up with Jacob becomes a very big improbability. I don't think we have to be afraid of Jacob. He's just a buddy.
Plus, I don't think we can blame Jacob that much for his actions. It must be hard being a werewolf right? being one causes you to act more on your emotions (aka he wasn't really using his brain during the epilouge). We have to give him a little leeway. And you know he was really trying to stay calm for bella and not hurt her.
I love Jacob dearly but, I mean come on, Edward is just perfect.

Compulsive Heartbraker I'm sorry,
Jacob was nice at the beggining,
But in New Moon he was really starting to tick me off.
By the end of it, I really wished that he hadn't exsisted.
Anybody in Bella's like the wasn't Edward, just seemed so hanus.
They weren't even able to stay friends!
What do you think? oh yea i totally agree i used to like him but now hes just annoying and in the way...

I really don't get why people dislike him. I think he was an extremely nice guy just trying to protect his dearest friends. All his intentions where good intentions and he never really hurt Bella. I don't know, I suppose since Edward came first a lot of people see Jacob as the enemy *shrugs*. I just don't see it that way.

I don't hate Jacob but i don't love him either... the thing thats bothers me is that he keeps getting in between of Bella and edward.

heart If you loved me... At first, I thought Jacob was cute, a little crushing boy, but after New Moon, I was PISSED off at Jacob! Just because Bella doesn't love him as much as Edward! GAWD! Not that hard to work though scream
