Jacob turned around again, hearing the lady behind him. He wasn't sure which was worse, a man or a woman seeing him in a skirt. Both were pretty bad.
Oh yeah, breathing. That definitely needs to happen.
But was that... a compliment? No... that wouldn't make sense. Still, his sarcasm radar wasn't in top shape.
Breathe dammit!
"Uh...Really?" he stuttered out, oblivous.

Jacob's nervousness made her feel a little more confident. So, she wasn't the only one who found this awkawrd! She didn't blame him, with clothes like that. She had really lucked up, minus the skirt. So she managed to shake Tristan's hand with a slightly more confident and warmer smile, "Arianna Keeylis, but as Dacian said, Ari is fine." She nodded her head to Dmitri as well, though her smile quickly vanished with Ahneta.
Instead she turned a bright shade of pink, folding her hands behind her back. Ahneta certainly had no shame!

Chuckling at Dmitri, Ahneta's smirk had taken on an approving hint. Someone who didn't get embaressed, hmm?
"If I had thought of that, perhaps I would have added a spell to remove the hair from legs as well." That might have been a good idea, but it might have been a tad painful...probably best that she hadn't done it.
Feeling her smirk broaden into a grin as she took in both the blush on Arianna's face, and Jacobs surprise, she spoke.
"Indeed..." Wondering if the man could be embaressed, she lowered her tone to a purr. It was always fun to flirt, after all...even if she had no intentions. "It's too bad your shirt is so...large on you."
In other words, she was saying he should be in the cat-boy outfit as well. Although honestly, she'd be happier seeing all the men in that! So long as they had decent bodies, anyway...
Sighing, Dacian shook his head at Ahneta. "Stop trying to embaress our guests, hmm?"
It was both a reproaching, and an amused tone: he didn't take offence at her, unlike many would. He'd worked with her for so long that he'd gotten used to it, by now.

Jacob was sure that when he looked back on this, it would all seem like some dream. It really did seem like a nightmare even now. He had no idea how on earth he was getting through this without-- breathing, yes that was important-- without passing out again.
Though, then again, the thought of him passing out like that again would probably be worse than walking around like this.
Why would she suggest that the shirt was too big, though? He was /glad/ for that fact. "Really? Cause...well because I think it's...fine." He tugged at the end of the shirt, wondering if it would come down any further. "It's not that..large actually... I think it's fine" he repeated himself.

Patricia was too shocked to reply to the other woman's question, which was obviously meant to torment her. That was it, she was never going outside again. Never. Now if only she could get home. Or at least find a bush to hide behind. She just felt so...exposed. Her long, frizzy hair didn't help matters either. If anything it accentuated the "wild female cop" appearance.
"Picia wear funny clothes!" Gavin pointed, laughing, causing his new guardian's face to darken in a deep shade of embarrassed red.
"You! Playpen! Now!" she demanded, thrusting a finger toward the other children. She didn't have to tell Gavin twice, as he happily acquiesced. Taking deep breaths she looked around to see if there was anyone she knew, though she wasn't sure if she wanted to see any acquaintances right now. Apparently some other unsuspecting men found themselves in very feminine costumes. Another turned into what looked like a cat-boy. Even that would have been better than...this. Still, misery liked company. She modestly scooted her way closer to them, her face red with embarrassed rage.
"What the hell is going on?!" she asked, trying her best to cover her exposed thighs with her arms. Whoever was responsible for this was going to pay later.
Gavin, on the other hand, remained oblivious to the obvious outrage and cheerfully greeted his fellow toddlers, "Hi hi!"
There seemed to be a new face here.

Ophiera waved happily to Gavin. It was Gav-gav! Bird boy, with the feathers! She remembered him. He'd come over one day. He spoke door!
Natalie, meanwhile, edged closer to the chaos, covering her mouth as she giggled at the... interesting costumes. Dacian hadn't lied about them, not one bit.

Right by Gavin, a little plushie animal stuck out from all the others - it was green, with a little tail and four little limbs...a turtle! It was soft and plushy, even on it's shell. It was a very happy looking turtle!
Dacian was going to apologize to Patricia, but just shrugged instead; what was the point of apologizing, really? It wasn't his fault. Alright, it partially was for allowing Ahneta to do costumes, but still! It wasn't like he made them.
Although he had to admit, they were very nice. Especially since he wasn't stuck in one of the more feminine, revealing ones.
"Don't worry, Patricia! It's all random anyway. And besides, when you leave, your clothes will go back to normal."
But don't leave yet...she'd miss all the fun!
Ahneta just smirked at Jacob, resting a single finger on her lips. Inwardly, she was getting irritated - how come he wasn't even getting flustered? How...frustrating!
So she just worked that much harder to make him react.
"But since the shirt is so big, we can't see more of you! Such a shame, hmm?"
Maybe if she just was more obvious about the flirting, he would notice.

As Holden entered the playpen, he might have noticed a rather ferocious looking plushie. Or at least, it would have looked ferocious if it's teeth weren't soft and fuzzy, and it didn't have perky little ears. In fact, it looked a lot like how a kitten must look when it's trying to seem like a big-bad-cat.
Except that it was a dragon.

Holden was a little nervous being around the other children, this would be the first time he met any of them. He smiled a bit seeing the dragon and picked it up, he knew what it was, he had heard a lot about dragons in bed time stories that Uncle Dmitri and Tristan told him. He picked up the dragon and held it tight, it would protect him.
Dmitri snickered at the goings on around him. He had a feeling this would be a good idea to spend the day (it beat Tristan mopping around and watching movies at least) he just didn't know how amusing.
Tristan on the other hand was feeling sympathetic for Jacob, he couldn't imagine how bad and/or embarassed he would feel if he were in that man's shoes. He was alos trying to come up with an escape plan if any attention were drawn to him.

Ina's ears perked and became stiff, quivering. She turned her head and saw a very familiar face. GAVIN! Without a second thought she abandoned her attention to the girl with her voice stolen and threw herself into a hug with Gavin! After all, he liked her hugs right, with her fluffy and his softies?! OF COURSE! "GAVIN!" she laughed happily, her tail wagging back and forth cheerfully.

Jacob shifted sideways at the comment. No, even being seen like this by other men was better that being anywhere close to that lady.
"But... I don't want you to see more of me?" He half said, half asked. What was /wrong/ with her? He tugged at his collar. This stupid costume suddenly felt ridiculously hot.
Inwardly he swore to himself that if he got out of this alive, this was the last time he would ever wear anything shorter than pants.

Ahneta felt a real grin (of the cheshire variety) stretch across her face now. Ah, a much more entertaining reaction! And she would have continued on then, if not for...
"Ahneta~ leave the poor guy alone, hm? You've tormented him enough already."
Dacian, at least, felt a bit sympathetic. She'd tormented him non-stop when they'd first met too, so it wasn't like he'd never been through it - it was almost like a rite of initiation. Except that he saw it as a game himself, to try and embaress her - which, as he learned, was pretty much impossible.

There's silence for a moment, and then a click before music starts up again - but this time it's not love sonnets. Whoever picked the music selection must have had very odd tastes...because what began next, well..
It was bagpipes. Somehow, someone had managed to find a collection of bagpipe music.

Patricia still fumed a bright red, even though a return to normal clothing was assured. Instead of moving--and risking torment from the other woman who seemed to be enjoying this oh so much--she just watching the exchange between her and this poor, oblivious young man.
"Seems like they got you pretty bad too," she said to him dryly, glaring sideways toward Dacian. Random her a**. There was no way this was just 'random.'
Gavin was about to pay attention to this new green thing that had suddenly materialized at his feet, but before he could do anything he was tackled by all to familiar fluffies. "Ina!"
He hugged back with his tiny arms. Friends. He looked around the rest of the playpen, not wanting to leave anyone out. "Ophi!"
He stared at the new boy. Well this was new. "Hi?"
Patricia perked her ears up at the sound of music. "Bagpipes?"

Marc wasn't quite sure why he was here. After all, Valentines day was supposed to be about couples, and he HAD been planning things to do alone. With Hadrien. Preferably with Haki out of the country. Illegal, perverted things that...
Was that candy?
Grabbing a handful and popping it into his mouth like a man on steroids, he looked around the room-- Haki barely noticing that her father was not attempting to have a good time.
Because Haki? Haki liked the red very, very much.
