I wouldn't call it disgusting, but I can kind of understand how lovey-doveyness gets annoying, especially if your single or in an unhappy relationship.

We intend to. I've seen too many marriages where, a couple years in, the people are at each other's throats or just never spend any time together. Why would you want to live like that?

That's just the thing though... I find "lovey-doveyness" annoying too, and we aren't like that. It's things like we actually *want* to spend time together, heopens doors for me... if we out with people, he actually holds my hand (*gasp*). If we're out and one of us leaves for a minute, we'll give each other a little "peck-kiss". Nothing over-the-top or "get a room!" Having been the single one watching my friends being like that taught me NOT to do it! Yet, still.... "ew, you two are so gross, what are you, joined at the hip?" rolleyes
