So, I got photoshop this weekend so I could try my hand at CGing.
Here's my first real WIP, I started it a few hours ago. x]

Your colouring so far seems good (much better than mine, anyway), but I'm not a real fan of the lines - the drawing's fine, I just think you could have outlined it in a slightly thinner brush.
I don't know if you're doing this intentionally and know what the result is going to look like, so... meh. It'll probably turn out fine anyway; ignore me. biggrin
The drawing itself is mostly fine, except that the top of her chest... seems too small to support the rest. XD Imagine her... as male... sweatdrop and she looks far too skinny. Or perhaps it's that the shoulders are too broad. I can't figure out which it is.
After all that critique, I must say that it is Looking Very, Very Good - I'd love to see the finished picture! I especially like the way you've coloured her eyes, and her outfit's interesting too. biggrin

Started coloring on the wrong layer, now it's too far gone to safe. >_>

Started coloring another picture though. =x
~just believe that the one who holds the storms will bring the sun.

Wow, I just realized I had the year as '07 in the title. xD;;;
I do the lineart on a separate layer with the pen tool. Is that what you were asking? x3
Another pic on the first page. Tried something new with how the hair is colored.

Hatori Miharu Mireille is my favorite. She was fun to make and Sain critiqued her for me. So, she turned out well. X3 I know what you mean about Elizabeth, but I can't seem to fix her. She was my first splice and I chose some bad parts when putting her together. For example I used that Arcadian girl from FE6&7… So parts of her clothing had to be remade. >>
But besides that, your sprites are wonderful! Your newest one [the unnamed one for a roleplay] is one of my favorites :3

Ah, that's some good advice. Maybe I should dust her off and try to give a go at fixing her.
She's quite old though. x3;;
I'll try to pick up slicing again soon, but in the mean time I have two more CGed pieces of art up. Once it a old piece that I CGed to try out some things and the new one is my first go at a new style. There are quite a few mistakes, I know, but it was my first, so I don't mind. xD
