To that question, Ryu, I will say that I HOPE so. It was encouraging that she said we had "opened her eyes," and that she recognized the similarity between the turning point for her civilzation and our current growth as a species. Her statement that she did see Moof in me was a confirmation that she is ready to believe that we can avoid self-destruction as her species did so many eons ago.

Even more encouraging was her response when I told her we preferred "unity through harmony" over the Zurg race's "harmony through unity." I think it's an important distinction, and she accepted that.

Mother seemed to think that things would grow worse, and that we would ourselves be at the brink of destruction in 5 years or less.

Whether or not that is true, I don't know. However, it is certainly true that many different factions are suddenly working together toward the common goal of peace... and that is a very positive move AWAY from the widespread fighting of the past.

I'm not naive. I know that, sadly, there will always be some fighting and violence on Gaia. However, it has been my goal to help others see reason wherever possible, and to counterbalance the hatred with an overwhelming amount of kindness and compassion.

A peace that is enforced by a tyrannical outside force would certainly be bad, and couldn't hold for long anyway. But a peace that grows from inner understanding is the inevitable outcome of our evolution.

The only danger in "too much peace" is a complacent populace unable to defend itself from outside threats. I don't think that we're headed in that direction at all.

I would like you to think about this: violence that stems from superficial ideas of difference, such as skin color or culture, is a downward spiral that will never end until all suffer and are destroyed. It is species-wide suicide, at an accelerating pace. We can see the effects of this on the planet of our progenitors, Earth. A very instructive study, with which I'm certain you are familiar.

If the planet Gaia and its many races are to survive into the next decade, or even the next millenium, we will have to mature beyond the primitive nature of our Earthly parentage.

I think we also need to learn to distinguish between what is and what is not a threat. Even if the Zurg were at one time a threat (and that is debatable), they are not now.

why do you wish to spread the lightnrgy though?

The answer to that is pretty simple. 09 is sick, and addicted to darknrgy. If he gets more of it, he will become even more dangerous. He has the potential to bring about a global disaster if fed enough darknrgy.

This next bit is speculative, but I believe that darknrgy is destructive enough that its proliferation would eventually lead to our annihilation even without 09.

Interference from whom? If you mean the Zurg, they are bound to leave us, probably soon. The very reason they built the portal was so that they could transport themselves back to their home world. Fortunately for us, they choose not to do so until the problem with 09 is resolved.

The portal opens the door to many planets, some of which are populated by species much less benign than the Zurg. If 09 should get control of that gate, we could be in grave danger.

As soon as that danger is removed, the Zurg plan to go home. I will be sad to see my friends among them leave, of course, as will many other Gaians.

i see nothing is secret on gaia. she's the one person to show me kindness.... she makes me feel lightnrgy.... i assure you my "intentions" will never come to be. lightnrgy will effect my work and my status in the GFG. i can not have that.....
