Chloe gave a small lick of her lips.. would she be ready by the end of March? Yes... she thought so. With a small nod she agreed, reaching over to take just one more of Aphismet's mushroom caps, despite them being a bit cold, and popped it in her mouth. Partly to keep her mind busy from the thought of ghosts - she DID still have to walk back home - and partly because they were so delicious.
She gave a small sigh, looking down at her watch. "I...I'm sorry.. I've been having so much time here w-with you two, b-but I really should go.." She bit her lip and glanced over toward Isi, and then Aphismet. "W-We'll definatly have to p-plan f-for M-March sometime."
She stood carefully, standing a little awkwardly. She didn't want to be rude by just bustling out of there.. she also didn't exactly want to leave just yet, even though she should. She loved Isi and Aphismet's company, they were fun to be with.
"I...I should get my coat.."

Aph got up when Chloe did, his polite side refused to leave him sitting when a lady stood. He fussed over her slightly, anything to prevent his mind from wandering back to the topic of scary spirits and haunted houses. "Oh! A-are you sure? You're not a bother! If you have to go to check on Roux, I understand, but please don't leave because you think you're bothering us. I-WE enjoy your company! R-right, Isi?" Aph blushed hotly and kept his eyes on the mushroom plate, hoping neither of the other two caught that little verbal slip...

Isi gave a knowing gaze to his adopted brother and lifted an eyebrow. Verbal slips aren't easy things to hide from a little brother. Isi played along though and nodded energetically. He was sad to see Chloe leaving so soon and he wanted to get up and bid her goodbye if she had to go, but when he moved a sharp pain in his leg was his stern reminder to keep sitting down. Isi nodded and smiled at her assuringly, "You could never be a bother, Chloe. Drop in whenever you like for as long as you like. It's so nice to have you around! Thank you very much for the gifts."

Chloe flushed and gave a rare, if a little awkward smile void of worry or concern. Her eyes softened as she looked from Isi to Aphismet. "Th-Thank you.. I.. I really should ch-check on Roux though." She sighed and took her coat and slid it on.
"I..I'm really.. glad to know you two, though." She smiled, bowing her head shyly. "I hope you feel better, Isi."
She paused for a moment before moving over and leaning down to give Isi a friendly hug, patting his back lightly before standing. She turned to face Aphismet, hesitating before reaching up and giving him a shy hug.
"W-Well.. I better.. better go now." She headed to the door, pausing for a moment before giving a small wave.

Aph blushed and grinned dumbly when Chloe gave that honest smile. Good thing she'd been shy about it, because if that smile had been at Full Brightness, Aph might have fainted. He managed to regain his composure by the time Chloe bent to give Isi a hug, and he was about to show her to the door when she hugged HIM too!
Aph didn't even have the presence of mind to hug back. He was simply too stunned to move.
Thankfully, Chloe let go quickly and headed to the door on her own, slipping on her coat and waving. Aphismet lifted a hand weakly, gave a stupid smile, and waved back. He had the vague intention of saying something, but his mouth and throat wouldn't produce anything more than a silly-sounding giggle, so he promptly shut up.

"Bye Chloe!" Isi called from the couch, watching as she went to the door and left. He was gratefuly for her company and he had given her as good of a hug as he could managed, all twisted up like he was. He watched her then go to Aphi and the boy quickly caught what was going on in the young man's face. As soon as she had closed the door with that small shy smile and awkward wave of hers, the boy snapped a malicious grin towards his big brother and hooted softly, "Aphi likes Chlooooe!"

Aphismet's face instantly darkened to a dangerous hue of red, almost bordering on purple, as he snapped his head around to glare at Isi with mouth agape.
"I...I.... -wh-whuh, I.. I! Sh-sh-shaddap!" he finished weakly as he grabbed the mushroom plate and hurried into the kitchen to hide. He kept thinking of what he could have said instead, but nothing constructive wanted to appear in his brain. And so, he simply muttered as he stood in the kitchen corner, popping the last two mushroom caps into his mouth to muffle his words.
