Well, even though the person who originally started this topic has left, I figured I'd submit these. "Ma Vie en Rose", or My Life in Pink, is a movie covering transgender issues. It's the story of a boy who has wanted, all his life, to be a girl. I've not seen it myself, but I didn't see it on the list, so I figured I'd put it up here. There's also a romantic comedy titled "Saving Face" coming out on friday (May 27). It's a movie about a Chinese-American lesbian girl, her mother, and her relationship with a beautiful dancer named Vivian. Looks really interesting, I'm hoping to see it myself. Saving Face

Gahhh... I soooo want to see Saving Face. >.< I hope it comes out on DVD, 'cos it definitely wasn't out in the movies over here. I watched Lost & Delirious a few months ago, and despite what happened and all, I still really liked it. Though it was a kinda depressing movie. But to add to the list: - D.E.B.S. (Awesome movie; PG-13) - My Summer of Love (Never watched it; R)

There's a movie I know of called Velvet Goldmine with a slightly gay undertheme. The main plot and story focuses on 70s glam rock and rockers, however, in the 70s era, there was a great deal of sexual liberation and being GLBT was somewhat okay so many of the chracters have homosexual relationships.
I believe it's rated R for some full frontal nudity, language, sex scenes and drugs. But it is definetely a must see if you love Ewan McGregors work and if you love 70s glam rock.

Saw this one movie a while back on VH1, I think...maybe Bravo... either way it was about this gay Chinese man who is forced into an arranged marriage and from that finds himself living with his gay partner, his new wife, and his visiting parents. I found it amusing to some extent, though I'm not sure the name....

O.O
Wow. I haven't heard of really any of these movies, but I'm rather surprised at the lack of info on g/l/b anime.
By the way, I use shonen-ai to refer to boys' love that you could show someone under 18 legally, and shojo-ai to refer to girls' love in the same manner.
A few that I've seen that I really like:
Loveless (shonen-ai) Kyou Kara Maou (from what I've seen(episodes 1-40), shonen-ai) Boku no Sexual Harassment (yaoi. No other way around it. Also, a bit of a rape scene in the third episode I believe.) Sensitive Pornograph (again, straight-up yaoi) Legend of Four Horsement (yaoi, with rape scenes) Ai no Kusabi (yaoi) Sukisyo (shonen-ai in early episodes, light yaoi in later)
Maria-sama ga Miteru (shoujo-ai. Awesomely sweet series. You have to download both seasons to get the full range of it, though.) Revolutionary Girl Utena (shojo-ai, to my knowledge) Adolescence of Utena (shoujo-ai/bi, light yuri)
I know that the majority of the yaoi/shonen-ai can be found at aarinfantasy.com, and you just have to look around for the shoujo-ai. It's not too hard to find though.
