((I had it worked out as five, but okay, I'm sorry.))

"Don't mind Orion, he's always like that," Kensukia said to Argo as they left the hut. "Yamika is a herbalist and a healer, the best one of either for miles. And don't worry, I won't hold the tentacles against you." She grinned. "God only knows but I'd have a few hundred things held against me had there been anyone around to see them."

It was only a short walk to Yamika's hut; it was situated on the outskirts of the town right next to the forest, in order to provide an easy stopping-place for travellers passing through and in need of healing or a rest. Kensukia walked up to the door and didn't bother raising a hand to knock; a second later Yamika had answered the door, as Kensukia had known she would. She always seemed to know when people were coming, either because she was psychic, as some of the more imaginative rumour-mongers would have you believe, or simply because she could see people coming through her window.

Yamika was a slim woman of medium height and questionable age. Although she had long white hair, her skin was smooth and unwrinkled and she showed no signs of loss of mobility or memory. Kensukia suspected she was in her 30s or 40s.

The herbalist put a finger to her lips and beckoned them inside; tiptoeing over the threshold, Kensukia spied the reason that they needed to be quiet. Curled up asleep in front of the dying embers in the hearth (Yamika kept a fire burning all through the night and most of the morning) was a little girl, no older than six or seven, and leaning up against the wall next to her was a young man, also asleep, with a blanket draped lightly over his knees. He looked to be about twenty or so, and could have been her father or older brother. A bandage was neatly wrapped around his arm.

"Travellers," Yamika murmured to Kensukia by way of explanation. "They arrived in the early hours of the morning. They ran afoul of some creatures in the forest." Her voice was smooth and harmonious, like someone singing a lullaby.

Argo smiled. People were strange here, but a good kind of strange. Quirky was a better word. Yeah, she liked that.
Argo tiptoed quietly through the house. Creatures? So not everything was a benevolent spirit here? She shouldn't have been surprised.

[I'm...not all that sure, actually.]

From his position atop Obi's shoulders, Aiden could see clearly where Kensukia and Argo headed after they came out of Orion's hut - straight to Yamika's, just as Kensukia had said. The first problem was, Obi seemed to have something on his mind, as he wasn't immediately following after them...And the second was that Aiden couldn't get down to hurry after them, seeing as he wasn't walking yet.

"Obi, they went that way," he said, almost a little impatiently, though his voice was clear of any negativity as he pointed ahead of him, where the other two had headed. "We have to catch up!"

((xD Maybe you should try 'giddy-up, horsey'?))

Kensukia bit her lip and regarded the two travellers. As if woken by her gaze, the little girl in front of the fire stirred and uncurled herself. At first she regarded her strange surroundings with fear, then remembrance dawned and she relaxed and smiled. The firelight lit up her soft blonde hair, turning it gold, and her skin seemed to be much paler than most of the forest inhabitants. Kensukia sought out the tattoo around her wrist and raised her eyebrows as she recognised the distinctive pattern of the Realm of Jewels. These travellers had come far indeed...

Yamika touched Kensukia's shoulder lightly, making her jump. "Shall I fetch your potions?" she inquired. Kensukia nodded.

The draconian blinked for a moment, almost seeming to come out of a slight trance before grinning and bobbing his head a moment with a slight bump to jump Aiden gently. "Aa, I'm going I'm going." He rumbled with a soft laugh and made quick work of his way to the tent, long legs helping himself make the distance in only a few steps. He popped in, lowering greatly so Aiden wouldn't his his head on the top.

Obsidian's attention was moved to the travelers nodding to them before paying attention to the others, one large hand gently holding Aiden's ankle so to keep him on his shoulders as he shifted a bit more to get all his hair free and comfortable.

((Should I post again even though I posted recently? Or are the other two going to post?))

Aiden grinned as the Draconian finally headed forward, keeping a light grip as he bounced along atop his head. When Obi bent down, Aiden lowered his head as well, just in case the doorway decided to end up being lower than it seemed. They cleared it without a problem, and Aiden then found himself inside the room with everyone else, now.

Right away, the strangers - travelers, obviously, as people tended to not end up in this place by accident (at least, that's what he figured) - caught his attention, and he found himself studying them curiously in order to figure out where they came from.
