Ive played the game. But there is no evidence saying Hojo is his father either other than he says so
Seph, let me explain something to you: In the concept of
storytelling, when something is put forth as fact, yet is never contested on any level, it
is fact. That's how storytelling works.
Besides, if you want more evidence within the game, there's the fact that Lucrecia runs away from Vincent when he declares his love to her, and is seen in Hojo's arms kissing him a moment later, with Vincent saying "If she is happy then... I don't mind."
She was clearly in love with Hojo. In light of
this evidence, the fact that Hojo says he is the father and that
no one -- not even Vincent -- contests this, that this revelation comes just before Hojo is killed and AVALANCHE can enter the Northern Crater for the final showdown, and that no evidence is ever presented to suggest Vincent could be the father or that he and Lucrecia had any relationship -- again, while it's clear that Vincent was in love with Lucrecia, there's only evidence to the contrary in regard to Vincent, as she rejects him and loved Hojo -- it is fact within the story that Hojo is his father.
In order to determine that he isn't, you have to ignore what the writers created, and essentially make a different story than the one that exists. Unless you can actually offer some evidence for your argument, I ask that you don't continue to fight for such an unsupported argument in the face of logic.
