Roberts moved backwards quickly, narrowly escaping the zombie's clammy hand. He pulled the extinguisher to his chest and then lunged forward, forcing the bottom end of it into the girl's chest cavity. Literally. The extinguisher penetrated her torso, cracking her ribs like rotted tree limbs.

((Uh, remember when I asked what types of zombies these were? Do they die after severe trauma, like some video game zombies, or only by head shoostin'? I'll edit this post when I know ^^))

((Oh!...*shifty eyes* um....You know that saying, "Cut off the head of the snake", or something like that. Well these babies won't die unless you damage the head.*
*The chest wound Chris just made, appeared to be "filling" back in. Tiny maggot looking creatures, seemed to be mushing themselves together to fill the hole. As they did this, it seemd that more came tumbling out of organs and tissue so that they could salvage their home. You suddenly remember from your days of high school science class that bees have a simialar way of protecting their hive, but these don't appear to have wings.*

Roberts jerked the extinguisher out of its chest. Holding back a gag, he swung it full-force at the zombie's head.

((For I am DSL, and it is sweet as double fudge icecream. I just need to FULLY figure out how to work the link bar. I think I have it for the most part. You can kill the zombies if you want. Their at your "disposal" tee hee!))
*You hear a 'thunk' not too far from the door, then Tanicea shouting.*
"Get back you sickos." With that you hear more 'thunk' sounds.

The zombie crumpled in a head on the floor while her head hit the wall. The male zombie swung a dirty-nailed hand at Roberts' face, clipping his cheek. The wily cameraman jerked back, a trickle of blood dripping down his chin. Roberts shoved the extinguisher against the zombie, throwing it to the wall hard enough to knock it off its feet.
Then, jumping over the first, Roberts cleared teh distance between himself and his target. He reared back and slammed the butt of the extinguisher into the back of her head, and she dropped where she stood. He reached down quickly and began frantically searching for the key.

*The sound of Tanicea and her metallic coffee pot going to town, could be heard just beyong the door. It sounded as if she was starting to retreat back.*
*When you search her pant's pockets you find it. It's connected to one of those bingy plastic cords and says 'back room' on it.*

Roberts fumbled with the key, shoving it into his pocket and turning around. The male zombie had gotten to his feet and was now advancing on Chris, blood and saliva dripping from his gaping saw. Robert's pulled back and threw the extinguisher at it as hard as he could, beaning it in the shoulder and knocking it down again.
With the diversion, Roberts jumped over the corpse again and ran out the door, slamming it shut behind him. "I got it!"

*When you look for Tanicea, you find that she has dropped the coffee pot, for a bar stool, and is swinging it at the large hoard of zombies that have now entered the coffee shop, but not for coffee. Tanicea glances back at you, teeth gritted and a blood sprinkled face. She grabs the bar stool horizontally and shoves it at the closest group of zombies, then runs after you into the room.*

Once inside, Roberts barricaded the door again and took a moment to breathe. "That was... intense." then to Tanicea, "Are you okay?"

*She bent over with the rhands on her kneees breathing hard. New blood caked the old and she nodded that she was alright. As soon as she stood up and put her hands on her hips, banging of fists on the door they had just come through started. At first it was just one, but then more and more began to beat on the door, the nob rattled as well. The zombies moaned on the other side of the door as if trying to coax it's meal out form hiding.*
"Let's get the hell out of here." She said, then moving quickly to the other door.

Roberts sighed heavily and lifted himself from his spot. He grabbed his camera and handed Tenicea the key, checking the battery of the camera. He was relieved to find it still nearly fully charged. "Where are we going to go? Is there anywhere that's safe?"

*Tanicea put the key in and stopped. She then looked up to Chris.*
"We have several options...granted I don't know how safe they all are. The closest places, we have three: The Library is to our left, the Ice cream Parlor is to our Right, and the Mechanic shop is behind the Ice cream parlor on Main st. If anything we might have the same problem we have here, if we go to the ice cream parlor, but at the same time there could be people. The mechanics seems secure, but we'd be out in the open, and I don't know if there would be any living dead in the parking lot before it. The Library is pretty big and has a lot of windows, I don't know how safe that could be and if anyone was able to open the place up, so the doors could be locked. You decide." she said, looking nervous at the pounding behind them.

Roberts thought about it for a moment. If they went to the library, there'd be plenty of places to hide. It was also closer to the news van, so if they needed it, they wouldn't have to run very far. If they went to the mechanic's, they would be open and furthest away, but they would have plenty of weapons and tools for fighting hoards of undead. After all, in the movies, that's one problem the characters always had: not having weapons. If they went to teh ice cream shop, they would have, well, ice cream so they could stay for a long time there with plenty to eat.
After weighing the options, Roberts finally decided. "The library. Even though I do have a craving for a double-chocolate sunday in this time of potential apocalypse, I think the library would be a better choice."
