((I'm puppeting Wahoozerman, since we're allies and he gave me and Zen permission to do so if necessary. I hope this is acceptable.))
Xallen managed to find his way into the institute, carrying Jacknife on his shoulder. His ally appeared to be unconscious for some reason or another, though judging by all the writing in sharpie on Jacknife's face, he probably hadn't intended to fall asleep. Xallen called out to Zen, "Hey Zen, I'm very sorry to be late. I know that we had a planned date. But I had to carry this fool with me. It's a long way here from the sea."

Tadashi jumped forward to meet Xallen and Jacknife. "Ah, you are his friends! Excellent!"
Looking to Zen, he said, "Shall I set up the AIS? Imagine, all that power right in your grasp! All of the breakthroughs we could make... mouth-watering!"

Xallen looked at his friend's face, reading a line written on it. "I, Jacknife, subject my soul, consent, and all other personal belongings to Zen and Xallen, to do with as they please." He thought a moment, before adding, "I'd like to see what will happen with these." Xallen then removed two marbles from his pocket, holding them out to Tadashi. Obviously, one was his and the other was his partner's. "I believe mine was originally red and white, but feel free to give me whichever you think is less trite. Let's try this device. I really think it sounds rather nice."

Well, that was convinent. The alien came in with what seemed to be Alan. Who was the victim of a permanent marking. He walked over to guy who was carrying and Alan and asked,
"May I?"
And if the man said yes, he went over to the sleeper and gave him a good slap in the face. Didn't work. Another hit. Nothing.
Aiolos looked to Tadashi, "Doesn't everyone who's doing this 'Eyes' thing need to be awake?"
Who really wanted to be asleep with something going in them? Seriously.

Alm rejoiced that the man had understood, "Ah, Anji! Nice name." But this creepy man? Alm had no idea, "Who is this 'creepy' man you speak of? Another of your friends?"
After some thought Alm decided he'd offer this man a chance to accompany him, "Anji, would you come with me? We might find your friend out there. Plus I have some plans that could help us out against the bad people out there who oppose us!"
With that, he shot his eyes at Tadashi, "Do you know where I could find normal marbles, such as the kind children play with?"

"Well, it's like your friend practically agrees!" Tadashi said, pulling a bag of sand off of a nearby table. "Get ready for AIS!" He tossed the sand on the floor, and it quickly created a pattern underneath the three allies. He waved his hands, wiggled his fingers, until the pattern was just right--a triangular shape with a hole in the middle--and then, a flash of light.
Pain seered into a patch of skin on each of the three's bodies, but was soon replaced by confidence, power, as their marbles made it into their prospective bodies--the red and white marble ending up in the center of the mark on Xallen.
The marbles in place, Tadashi gave them a thumbs up. "Yay!"
Glancing up at Alm, Tadashi said, "In Aekea? Hm... perhaps the shantytowns to the south. Lots of the urchins and poor kids like to play with old-fashioned marbles."

The marble flew into the center of the mark on his stomach. Pain, while rather great initially, quickly subsided and it was replaced with raw power, at least in his case. He grinned. Xallen waited a moment, before reaching into Alan's pocket to pull out a stick of gum, which he quickly stuck near his gum. "Don't mind if I do. I'd say partaking in such a treat was only due."
Xallen's eyes flickered briefly, and his expression finally got serious. His excitement and energy transformed into tranquility. "So what marble did Alan and I get? And what exactly do you want us to do now?"

((All right, I didn't want to, but technically Brennsa gave me permision to mule his char a bit. I'm probably going to do that soon in order to get things moving a bit smoother.))
Anji smiled happily underneath his mask, glad that his friend was showing some interest in the creepy man. "Yeah!! He told me to come here and he'd show up later!!!" He heard the man offer to accompany him on a brief trip and grinned happily. "Sure, sure! Let's go!!" he said enthusiastically, popping up onto his feet quickly in anticipation...

"Shi....hey, that feels pretty good." Zen stated after his body felt a sudden sensation of pain which changed into strentgh, replacing the pain instantly. "Yeah, I'm about ready to get down to buisness myself." Zen's blueish marble implanted itself on Zen's right arm, his wrist to be more specific, he wasn't too pleased that his marble was in such a visible area but he didn't think he could do anything about it.

((Understandable. Out of curiosity, should I control NPCs where I go, or will it be handled by the GMs? I.E.-I go to shantytown, ask people about marbles, they give me them in one big post by me, or I post asking for marbles, GM responds as populous, I post offering....)
Alm stared in wonder at the rune created by this sand, "What type of rune is this? Some sort of enhancement style rune? Nevermind, I will find out when it is done to me...Thank you for the info, I will return shortly." He averted his gaze from the runes and saw Anji pop up, ready to go, "Alright. Off to the shantytowns, Anji!"
He motioned for Anji to follow him as he left the room as abruptly as he came in, heading west towards the Robotics Factory.

"Let's see..." Tadashi leaned forward, squinting not at the marbles, but the people themselves. "So, you've got 'Attacker,' which as you might imagine, somehow makes you more powerful in whatever you do. Alan, is it? He received 'Duelist,' which is an interesting reality-bender. It decreases the effectiveness of teamwork whenever he's involved--whether it's being used against him or by him. I hope he likes one-on-one fights."

((Normal NPCs are yours to control, so long as you aren't using them as weapons or armies or somesuch.))

Aiolos shrugged, he didn't have a threesome to get into right now, might as well follow Zen and company and hope two other people have marbles. Besides, he was skeptical, it seemed like they were stronger, but it could just be in their head.
