The LMG's bullets tore through the top of the windshield and perforated the top of the car--thankfully, the Audi's constitution held for the moment and hopefully Tien and Tokai did the smart thing and ducked under the seats, much like how Legart ducked behind the driver's-side door, aiding in his duck by yanking himself down. The Ferrari went in a tight arc around them, but as this was sand--not the most drift-able of surfaces--Legart yanked the pin out of the grenade and lobbed it just ahead of where the Ferrari would be in a short underhand throw, the grenade landing in the sand and not bouncing. Ideally, this would either explode when they were over it, or would explode before they reached that spot and throw sand over the windshield.
Hurrying into the car and slamming his door shut, Legart pushed the stick into reverse and gunned the engine, driving hard backwards for the Ferrari's front end, shouting something over the din of the roaring engine and the LMG fire, pointing toward the rear and saying something along the lines of "shoot back." He was wondering what would happen if Tokai unleashed his .500 S&W on the Ferrari's fiberglass frame.

Tien did indeed hit the leather the moment he saw the machine gun pointing in their cars general direction. Things had just gotten very crazy very quickly, fortunately he saw just the thing to turn the tables.
Doing his best not to interfere with Legart's driving, he twisted his upper body around in its nearly flat position against the seat of the car and snatched the shotgun Tokai was holding out of his grip. Luckily he didn't need to really see for this shot, the report of the machine gun and the Ferrari's whining engine were more than enough to indicate where the shots where coming from.
Before the Ferrari could reach the grenade in the sand, he stuck the shotgun above the window-line of the car, bracing his arm against the side of the vehicle and with his other hand, and fired a single shell at the circling car.
The Ferrari is built for speed over all things and in an effort to squeeze every MPH out of the car, it is built with a frame quite a bit less stable than the steel of the Audi. Fiberglass, while strong for its size, is rather inadequate in a crash and even moreso when its being shot, blown up, what have you. This would spell out a somewhat lopsided situation under normal conditions.
Unfortunately for Tien's enemies, this wasn't a normal situation. When the shot from his shotgun hit the side of that Ferrari it would be something more akin to an explosion than a simple rain of impacts. Sure, if any pierced the fiberglass frame (a very likely scenario) and hit those within the cab it would be just like getting hit by a normal shell but as it stood if the shot hit the Ferrari the result would look more like the result of a grenade going off on the door. Shrapnel, concussion, destruction, and all. Strange.

Just as he began to open his door the car war riddled with bullets. Being in the back seat he was mostly showered with glass. "WHAT THE ********!" He screamed. Now he was pissed.Tokai took up his Taurus Raging Bull Model 500, .500 S&W Magnum Revolver with glee. Turning to the appropriate window he took aim at their windshield. The old one could go through an elephant from nose to tail, and this new one was supposed to be three times as powerful, now seemed as good a time as any to see if they weren't bullshiting him when his "brothers" bought him the gun. Even if he didn't hit a person it would probably blow out all their windows and rock their car just by the force of the shot alone...of course it would do the same thing to his car, but they only had two door windows left anyways and his car was made of actual metal.
The shot rang out over the sound of their car's engine. He was pushed back into his seat as the muzzle flare of the pistol scorched the passenger side window before the bullet all but disintegrated it. The car even buckled a little as he stared towards the other car. Hopefully Tien and Legart could compensate...what was he think of course the could, Tien was just as experienced as him, Legart even more so. His aim had been a little off since he wasn't used to the kick back quite yet, but even a near miss with a gun like this could be deadly. Tokai smile despite the multipul glass cuts on his body as the shot raced on home. One shot down, four more to go.

People involved: Adam, Aiolos, And Hayden!
Adam caught the grenade as it fell in front of the car. Slowing his rate just a bit, he waited for the grenade to go off in front of them. As the windshield was splattered with sand, he leaned his head out over the side of the car, keeping the road in his sight as he sped off toward the Audie.
"You got it!" Adam shouted to Aiolos, and reached down into his pocket, pulling forth the duct tape. He quickly tossed it to Aiolos, then reached down and grabbed one of the grenades strapped around his belt, also tossing it to his friend Aiolos. Just as the grenade left his hand, however, Adam was hit in the shoulder by a single raging bull round, also causing his shatterglass windshield to blow out. Adam Struggled to keep control of the car as the force shook his body, and finally pressed down on the breaks and slowed to a stop.
"Mother ********!" he shouted out in frustration, than thought of a plan. He quickly turned the car to its side and sped off at a 90 degree angle from the Audie. "Hayden, lay down fire! Aiolos, get that grenade out there!"

OOC, I I'm loathe to do this, but I'd like to call dispute with Adam being able to drive--or even move normally--after getting hit with a .500 S&W round. A cited Wikipedia article It is the most powerful handgun cartridge commercially manufactured with over 2600 ft-lbs of energy created with a 440gr bullet travelling at 1650 fps. The .460 Smith & Wesson Magnum which can push a 200 gr projectile at 2330 fps comes close at over 2400 ft-lbs of energy and the .50 Beowulf in a revolver with handloads can achieve the same 2600+ ft-lbs.[1] (The .50 Beowulf commercial loads are created for the AR platform and therefore loaded to lower power) The .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum can develop over 2,600 foot-pounds (3.5 kJ) of muzzle energy, nearly three times as much as the 900 ft·lb (1.2 kJ) generated by the .44 Magnum made famous by Clint Eastwood in the Dirty Harry movies. This is a difference of over 600 foot-pounds (0.8 kJ) of energy more than the .454 Casull, the previous commercial record holder. Tokai's Raging Bull is a .500 S&W model with 260 grain FMJs. Other than that, I don't have any problems. 3nodding Edit: Dunlad was wrong, his are 350-grain--don't you use those for bear hunting? eek
