After Gamma had pulled them through the charade at the Marketplace, things just kept happening around there. He had gained the three another marble, and we can assume Eustathios had told the other two his name. So now they knew them all. At which point he had suggested they actually leave this damnable city and branch out, looking for more marbles as they had pretty much cleared this place out. And then they got to the junker, piled in, chainsaw wielding Gamma at the wheel, an axe using Miles in the backseat, and a technospartan at shotgun. He watched as the other man turned the car on, and began to drive them off, but of course, Eustathios had his spear hanging out the window, should any target present themselves. And they began to drive, the junker spewing noxious fumes from it's back.

And then they were gone, out of the line of sight, and heading back they way they came. Oh yes, this was going to be a most amazing adventure.

Leaning against one of the walls inside of the headquarters her finger tapped against her thigh, in time to the clicks of the clock. She had her own eyes turned down toward the floor, but she could feel the gaze of the secretary on her. The gaze of the secretary spoke for its self, he wondering what this person was doing... just standing there when there were marbles to find and profit off of.

The secretary looked up, dabbing at his bald head once more. "You ah...have your marble and mark?"

The voice broke the silence, well besides the clock. Rain's head jutted up and then turned toward the secretary. "Yeah" she gave a nod and gestured toward her left arm with her right hand. Under her coats sleeve on her upper arm there was the marble she had received, circled by the odd mark that she somehow needed to use the marble with.

The man nodded, "Well then all you gotta do is go out and retrieve more of them. The more you bring back, the more money you get. Simple."

Smirking she spoke, "Ah, yes. I know" Her finger began to tap against her thigh again, "I'm just waiting for someone to show up..." Rain's eyes glanced toward the clock then back to the secretary, "He seems to be running late."

"Oh." The man chuckled and turned back to the radio where he was listening, "Well good luck, it seems that there have been quite a few incidents already.

“Incidents?” She looked toward him again; her finger tapping slowed down but still continued, “What type of incidents?” Now she was interested, trying to vaguely hear what the radio was saying.

"Oh nothing much, just a big fighting incident over in Aekea. And the like. It seems that some people just won't make it out of this alive. I'm tempted to go have my fortune told by that lady over on the boardwalk. I'd like my life intact as well as my job."

"It can only be expected that people will attack each other for the marbles, especially since you guys are paying so much for a single one." She began to speed up the tapping back to its regular pace, losing interest fast "Once your outside its anyone's game... that is unless you just hand over your marble and walk away, that seems the only way out alive. But what fun is that?" Rain chuckled.

(FoP- sometime later.) Trei walks out the front door, bearing his marble in plain view; we'll never know if it was his decision, or if the red-haired woman running the show's, but Trei's marble (and the surrounding tattoo) have been implanted where his dead right eye should be, giving his face a very unique look. All was going well, so far...
And then, s**t hits the fan. The marble pulses, then shines... then vanishes, leaving Trei with an empty socket. <********!"
The young man claps a hand to his eye, holding it shut as its emeraldine twin scans the surrounding area. Not good, not good...
And his assigned partners haven't even shown up yet...

From the marketplace Gamma moved with a walking pace. Not in a hurry, but he didn't have all day. In a bloody suit, wielding that chainsaw and mask, he'd march in the front door.
He needed marbles.

Previously Rain had made her way out of the office. There was something in there that made her feel uncomfortable, as if vultures were sitting on her shoulder. Every second her arm began to start to burn, "The Hell?" She grabbed her left arm, where the marble was, with her right hand. The pain resonated from her arm to the rest of her body. “s**t!” she stumbled around a corner of the building. Something was wrong, and it wasn’t getting any better. Raking her fingers at the bottom of her sleeve she yanked the fabric upward, the marble had vanished. Her eyes widened and she hurried around the corner, pushing the sleeve back down, this wasn’t good. It took her a second but she spotted Trei. It didn’t take long for her to realize he had the same problem, “Damnit.” She wispered to herself.

Eustathios was right behind Gamma, and Miles was too, he stepped at the front of the door (doors?) shutting it and then standing in front. His sword out of his sheathe, and the shields at the ready.
Yeah, no one was getting in.
