Isoroku pulled himself back up, now set, bandaged, and ready for walking wounded duty, or light combat duties.
He started towards Eileen and Lyendi, keeping his distance from the still armed, even if he was out of ammuntion, barbarian soldier.

Once the soldier had surrendered Lyendi relaxed and let the pain from the shoulder wound flow through her, "Ow ow ow...". A sudden cloud of dust and grass blew through the gates, she looked away shutting her eyes tightly so as no dirt would get into them.

Eileen had not powered down, and she still had not let go of the man with one arm. The other she brought down heavily on his gun hand, hammering at the gun until he dropped it. "This is not right. The GNG does not act this way." She flipped him around, and pressed him against the wall again. There...standard issue handcuffs and zip ties. She clapped one end of the handcuffs to the gate's frame, then the other to the guard's gun arm. Three zip ties followed, binding his wrists together.

Seeing that it seemed under control, Brody would nod and then push on forward. Picking up speed, he would hit the gates flying, not paying much attention to the scattered bodies.

"Ugh!" The gun clattered to the ground, and his wrists were bound. "You may take me prisoner, but you'll never take the city!"
At this point, the others might suddenly notice that their instincts were going off. This guy had a marble.

"Honorless barbarians..." Ikari cursed. Now that the guy was bound, and incapable of fighting back, and having wholly accepted his defeat, he approached. He was quiet, he was quick. He wasnt' running, but he was moving fast. While Eileen was busy with restraining him, and Lyendi nursing her wounds, he came right up.
One motion, he drew his kodachi, and in a fluid, strong motion, he thrust it right into the man's stomach, twisting and slicing inside, giving his solider a better death than he deserved.

"Ugh!" As Ikari's blade pierced the man's flesh, it contact a hard object--not hard like bone, but hard like glass.

As Lyendi placed a small cloth she carried in a pouch that was tied to the hand guard of the sword to the wound her right ear twitched and when she looked up Isoroku was approaching the soldier who was restrained, "He wouldn't...".
In the blink of an eye, Ikari had pierced the man's stomach with a blade, Lyendi's eyes widened, "You...you...you are the barbarian here!", she shouted swinging her left arm in an arc in front of her.

"Silence low born," Ikari commanded as he snapped the kodachi in the air, cleaning it of the blood as he returned it back to its sheathe.
He was scowling as he turned towards Lyendi, his nose flared slightly, his brow furrowed.
"He was evil. There is one of the artifacts in him. I felt it. Now, go and retrieve it. I will not sully my hands looting the dead," he commanded her. The principle was familiar. High born on the Celestial Order (Samurai, lords, etc) would never do a Low act, like looting, or tending to the dead.

HoshiTe blinked. This was odd to watch, as there were actually square lights that seemed to resemble pupils on the visor at the moment. "Ugh?! It's not even that tight." She turned away from the now dead man, not even noticing that Ikari had gutted him. HoshiTe flickered once, like the bad reception that demands you move your cellphone further away from your computer monitor. Then the emotional armor was back, tangible as ever. Eileen was looking at her hand though, body language seemingly perplexed. Lyendi "You...you...you are the barbarian here!" The yell caught her attention, and snapped her out of her own little world. "...w-what?" It was then that the marble fell out of the guy's flesh with a clink.

Lyendi's ears shifted back slightly like a cat's would when aggrivated when Ikari called her "low born". Rather than try to argue with him she just sighed deeply and nodded then made her way to Eileen's side who happened to be staring at the artifact he spoke of, a pink marble.
She squatted down and picked it up with two fingers then rubbed it against the dirt and gravel to remove some of the blood. "Pink...", she commented then got up and walked back to Ikari rubbing both the red/white and pink marbles against each other.

"I could care less about the color... what does it do?" he demanded of Lyendi. To him, his meaning was clear. Put it in and get on it with, dammit. See what happens.

HoshiTe flickered once more, then vanished, in the sort of uncontrolled way that showed Eileen's inexperience with it. She was still staring at her hand by this time. "....guys..." too low. She tried again, louder. "Guys!" The place where her mark was, her pointer finger, was glowing brightly. "I-is this normal?"

Ikari paused, looking over at the marble, pulsing, glowing... his hand reached up towards his left shoulder. That's where his mark was, under his jacket the marble a small bump he could feel. He couldnt' see it, but something felt, off. Warm about it.
"Perhaps it is responding to the destruction of evil..." he muttered, guessing at the cause as he looked over towards the disemboweled soldier.
