Lol, I'm already feeling my youngness slipping away... xD
Nah, but I can probably still stay fit and flexible for a little longer.
I'm not that old yet... hehe.
How long did you do figure skating?
Ooh, and I'll have to look up this... Tecktonik. :3

And It never hurts to try.
I definitely think you can make it!

Oh~ You have the perfect age for like, anything at all. But it will be pretty tough if you are going to compete against people that have trained since they were 4. Some women are just nuts, or their parents.

I did it for about 3 years, pretty fun actually. But most people thought of it as a gay thing which sort of discouraged me to continue as a I got older. Now I regret it.

So do I C:
Just got to show that stupid hag that I can do it if I want to. I think she holds a grudge against me or something.

Ahh, I know...
Those young kids can kick my butt anyday. xD
I wish I started when I was younger too. *tear*

Wow, 3 years is a pretty long time.
I hate when people say that kind of thing though.
"Oh that sport is for girls, it'll make you look gay."
Unless the rules say that a certain sport is gender-only,
there is no reason that you shouldn't do it.
That's all people are good at, insulting other people. -_-

Are you thinking about getting back into figure skating?

Yeah, it's unfair. But a girl's a lesbian if she plays hockey, for example.
People with nothing better to do are so nasty, I mean, they come with their disgusting fat and think they know more about your sport than you do, because they have watched every competetion this or that year.
And then what happened somewhere in Sweden when there was a girl team playing against another, the father of a child thought that one of the better players in the other team was a guy so he just pulled down her hockeypants in front of everyone on ice to ''prove'' that she was a guy out of nowhere.
Was that even needed? ******** idiot, she was only 11 years old.

It's too late, really. And it would be pretty hard to train seriously since I do gymnastics 35 hours every week, plus 14 hours in the gym. I don't really have enough time to do another sport, as I have school and some other things to do also.

Whoaaa, jeez.
That really was unnecessary. >,<
Especially coming from a PARENT.
I don't get how people think acting like an a*****e
is actually gonna solve any problems.
Seriously, that was way out of hand, though. -_-

Jeebus, 35 hours a week?!
That's pretty insane... lol.
You've probably won lots of medals, huh?

@3llo: Welcome!
What made you get into cheerleading? :3

Yeah, it just shows that parents take sports too seriously with their children. I mean, he wasn't being the greatest example there.

I do, but they are from when I was younger. I decided to quit with competitions and such, since I will probably want to continue with that afterwards and that won't work with my studies in the future.

Hello! I'm Rachel. I'm 18, and I start college in the fall. I'm so excited!

I'm very interested in literature, mostly classic... yeah, the boring stuff most every high schooler hates. I love talking about books, and I do a little writing myself. I also love poetry and plays, but I'm no good at writing either. sweatdrop I'm going to major in English, probably literature or creative writing.

On a more physical topic, I'm fairly interested in fashion, but not popular fashion... popular fashion disgusts me. I like to see the more individual side of fashion, not what some trashy magazine dictates as popular.

I like to think I'm good at solving problems and offering advice. I can help with sexual/relationship problems, because even though I haven't experienced everything, I've experienced quite a bit. I might also be able to offer advice on family problems.

If I ever sound arrogant or overly wordy, I'm really sorry, it's honestly just the way I talk. sweatdrop I go through a book every few days and I read the dictionary for fun. I try to be earnest and honest, and I try not to be judgmental or cruel.

I'm very excited to join a guild where I can be helpful. Nice to meet you guys! I look forward to making new friends.

Sweet Murderer: Hejsan -go Sweden! Anywho.. damn you train much. eek And doing figure skating isn't gay.

`S t r i p p e r: Thank you so much Melissa (gosh, I hope I got your name right)!
Some people at my school practice it (we don't have it in our school it's all about competive cheerleading here really), I watched some videos on youtube and checked some other stuff out online, saw some on movies, tried some at home (all of this didn't happen in that exact order though!) and one thing lead to another and I tried to join some squads. I just love the awesomeness of cheerleading heart ! I got really into cheerleading like last month or something but when it comes to it I've liked cheerleading on and off a couple of years (When I really think about it I think I've also liked ballet, gymnastics and figure skating).

That's awesome.
I hate how people say that cheerleading isn't a sport.
That's like, the biggest topic when talking about "sports."
To argue that, I say it's a type of sport.
Cuz people don't know any better. xP

^^
Yeah, seems like almost no one thinks it's a sport.. But most people also doesn't know much about it and all sides of it today! Today we are all "knows it all"-ers and people should look into stuff more..
That's a great argument, haha! ^^ Good way to shut people up. *oops can't believe I said that*
